The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South West

Always enjoy the breakfast buffet here at the weston pavillian branch, food is nice and great that the kids can eat free. Our server Sam was great, very professional, friendly and helpful, asked about allergies, informed us of everything we needed to know and made us feel welcome.

Coffee and a cake at lunchtime. Friendly attentive, prompt service. It has a character all of its own, but certainly a talking point. Like it or not we enjoyed our visit

I have always found the coffee to be a little weak

Absolutely awful experience at The Folly. The service was shockingly bad from the moment we walked in. We were left standing at the entrance for ages before anyone acknowledged us, and when someone finally did, they acted like we were inconveniencing them. It took forever to get our drinks, and even longer for the food—which was cold by the time it showed up. Staff seemed completely uninterested, more focused on chatting amongst themselves than helping customers. No apologies, no smiles, just attitude. Definitely won’t be coming back. Avoid if you actually want to enjoy your night out.

Los precios son muy razonables y la experiencia muy superior en comparación con las trampas turísticas locales como Sally Lunn. Definitivamente vale la pena una visita.

Stopped off for lunch alone and had a toastie ( no salad or crisps ) a brownie, an iced latte and a can of coke. This came to £20. As a hospitality business owner myself I will always be the last one to complain about prices as I know how expensive running a business can be…. but that is ridiculous :( I would like to add the staff were friendly and the brownie was yummy, just a shame about that price tag.

Always a good coffee and vib at Costa

We went to The Ship for a family get together over the Christmas period. We were looked after from the moment we arrived until we left. This is a lovely place to meet up and the food is absolutely amazing. A big shout out to the chefs. We were looked after by Eddie who was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for him. Thank you Eddie 👍. I would recommend The Ship to everyone and if I could give it more stars I would.

Had Sunday lunch here was ok, no stock behind the bar and was made to feel uncomfortable by the loud locals whom was trying to engaged in our conversations. Shame because a nice little pub

Top quality food and service, pricey but as they say "you get what you pay for" and we certainly did - worth every penny. Food ingredients were obviously first class locally sourced from the sausage roll to the coffees, from the milkshakes to the fries - homemade mayo, nice touch! Service excellent from young staff and old and immaculate surroundings and deco. Feedback from ladies toilet - could have a better quality soap to keep up with the other exceptionally high standards! Thanks very much.

Having been before on several occasions my husband and I along with our young daughter decided to stop off after a Sunday afternoon walk. The restaurant was virtually empty so we were seated straight away, having now experienced the new menu we can understand why! The food took over 50mins to arrive (would be more understandable if the place was packed!) we were not notified that there would be a wait which is common curtesy especially when you have young children with you. Finally our food arrived, to say the least we were extremely disappointed. My husband had ordered the Turkey roast which should have been accompanied by vegetables, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pudding, sage and onion stuffing and roast potatoes, what arrived can only be described as a subpar school dinner! The Yorkshire was FLAT and wet, there was no cauliflower cheese, approx 3 overcooked roast potatoes and one floret of broccoli surrounded by the small cubed frozen veg which I wouldn’t feed to my dog! The mac and cheese that my child ordered clearly was from a can and the cucumber and carrot sticks were placed on a hot plate, enough said! Needless to say we had to stop at McDonalds on the way home! A real shame as we have always enjoyed our past experiences, the manager I believe she was did offer a free drink or dessert but as my husband has dietary requirements this was not an option for us and he ended up not having a meal at all.

Absolutely lovely scenery and very friendly staff. Great choice of drinks and cakes, very relaxing atmosphere. Free parking up to 2hrs.

Terrible service 2 servers at the 30ft long bar both serving 1 person together, waited at the bar for 10 minutes when the barmaid instructed, in a rude manner, all those at the bar to form a queue where she was serving, but 4ft from the bar, ludicrous!! This is despite wetherspoons official policy of no queue forming, its like crazy covid rules are still in place. Walked out and went to a real , no covid rules, bar. Never going back to this place again.

Since my last review on Costa Coffee, Copper Street, Brewery Square, Dorchester the management has changed. The Store Manager there at the moment isn’t nothing like the last one. She has been late several times wen she is supposed to be there on time, turns up wen she feels like it, relies on other members of staff to do her job for her, cuts staff hours, gets members of staff to train trainees wen she should be doing it. If, she’s not committed to do her job properly, she shouldn’t be the Store Manager. Bring in someone who interacts with the customers, friendly, and invites the customers back. Very disappointed in Costa this time round, the Area Manager should consider the next Store Manager.
