Morrisons Supermarket Cafe in Mid Devon

No cups available filthy tables no tea spoons dirty floor and breakfast was cold so we won't be going back again disgusting

My recent visit was for a spot of lunch, Kiera , sue and victoria made my visit a good experience and had lots of laughs together, getting lunch is a simple thing and when it's made a bit more fun it's lively, they accomadated my needs when things had run out and found me things from the back I needed, what a lovely team!! Great shop always have everything I need and more

Great supermarket, very good fresh veg with big variety. Usual good range of own brand food, recommend the fresh made pizza. Helped by the petrol station with usually low prices for fuel.

The cafe at Morrisons is never consistent. They might as well say their menu is subject to availability. Today I went to Totnes at 3.15 for fish and chips. No fish available because the cooking oil hadn't been changed. Asked for the chicken meal, sorry no chicken I then drove to a bigger store in nearby Paignton.. Similar story no fish no chicken. Morrisons need to get their cafe supplies sorted.

Very impressed. Staff extremely helpful and all of the staff we spoke to greeted us with a smile. Plenty of offers on the shelves which were well stocked, which is so refreshing compared to other supermarkets in the surrounding area. The cafe staff were welcoming and cheerful and the breakfasts hot well cooked and delicious, Well done Tiverton Morrisons we will be visiting again.

Good shop, good staff and good atmosphere

Can be a great store some of the time. Car park is chaotic when busy and poorly designed when it was built this could do with a major rearrange then it will take out the hazards. Fuel station is a cross the road it sells fuel 24hr day. Staff are pleasant

Okay so I give 3 stars based on the supermarkets itself.. It's okay stocked. Not much staff around. The cafe tho minus 2 - 25 minutes for one small fry up to which I expressed some bits were missing to be informed by the staff member that they didn't have it anyway... It was filthy atleast 10 tables covered in food and leftover plates - Grim.

I went in to buy a few things , but left with nothing , i cant afford the high prices .

I asked one of the staff a hypothetical of if they'd rather "Have no arms but your hobby is angry birds or Have no arms but no legs". Didn't get a concrete answer unfortunatly :(

cold food, mushrooms out of fridge not cooker, poor quality except the toast, last visit twelve months ago when very good. Marked deterioration in food and staff attitude, Worst breakfast ever spoilt a family visit.

Hire more self checkout staff, it's been shocking for years!

Cold food, rude staff and tepid coffee. A supermarket cafe with no artificial sweetener. When I requested some a member of staff suggested I use sugar instead. This not long after I had my toes amputated caused by diabetes. Duty manager was called and after I suggested he was talking nonsense similar parliament he barred me from the store. Not that I want to go back but it is the very first time this old army veteran has been banned from ANYWHERE. The staff, standards and service at the store need a big big shake up starting with the manager.

A rude and unhelpful employee at customer service , talking over customers to another colleague. I only used customer service to pay for some flowers as only 3 checkouts in use and all self-service tills all in use .

It's a good place for groceries

Shelves were well stocked. Great bargains in the reduced area. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

My husband and I were in Morrisons Tiverton earlier today. My husband went up to a manager to let him know there was no loo roll in the gents. He was very rude and unpleasant to my husband. He was really upset by this managers behaviour. I shall be staying away from this supermarket.

Morrisons Tiverton was a bit of a disappointment.....no problem with shopping but the cafe and toilets were of a very poor standard.

Great breakfast, lovely, well mannered and polite staff and the kids liked it too. I would go back there. Read a few reviews and I didn't recognise any of the negatives out forward on my visit.

Very poor quality vegetables bakery nearly empty at 8 15am Meat counter staff so slow and thought it opened at 9 not 8 general store a right mess and manager couldn't care less

Vile lady behind customer services that was more Interested in checking her social media than delivering customer service. Would never visit this store again due to a bad experience with this lady - should be ashamed to have her as the face of Morrisons at the forefront of the customers and should be working out the back in a non customer facing role.

I saw the way the store manager spoke to staff today. Firstly, dressing down staff in a really loud booming voice in front of customers is really quite unprofessional. Secondly, that man is definitely not getting the best out of people by treating them like that. Hopefully someone from head office reads this and sends him on a 'how to be a manager in the 20th century' training course.

Fab store, stocks everything and then some. Staff super friendly and go the extra mile to help out. The range of products is great. Always come out having bought too much 🙈

Sorry. I'm off to lidls! Google asked me to update.. I've not been in since last review, till today and boy, you must be the most expensive market, exercise waitrose is cheaper now!

Friendly staff and pretty good selection of stuff.

Had to call for food on our way home and Morrisons presented itself, and we needed fuel so. Wish we hadn't have bothered meals that we ordered were terrible, one undercooked and one overkooed, how can they get it so wrong.

Busy supermarket, layout good, some good beer bargains, car park a bit haphazard. 😀

How rude can the filling station be to someone with a vision disability who cant see small text on a fuel card. Absolutely shocking, will report to the disability commissioner No point calling the store to complain, the dont answer the phone now!

What a messy shambles, eat here as a last resort only.

Bought 6 bottles of wine to get 25% discount. Unfortunately I didn't realise it doesn't apply to all bottles at the checkout, just those marked so had to find which bottle needed replacing and a very helpful young assistant auded me and took me straight to a checkout to pay. Well done that girl!

My review is no reflection on the staff, on a busy Saturday there were just 2 of them as one was on a break. They both were working incredibly hard. I feel morrisons need to consider hiring more staff, the tables were all full of dirty dishes. With 2 members having to serve customers, plate the food and cook the food this is too much for just 2 members to do. Both members of staff today did so with grace and dignity both with patience and smiles! Food its self was over done and not great but good value.

As usual, it was a pleasant experience to shop at Morrisons in Tiverton. Reasonable prices and helpful staff.

Popped in before going to the hospital opposite to get a coffee and chocolate. I have never before had to throw away a drink that was so disgusting. The wife had taken it back and was told that's how it made. Half a cup of brown liquid!!? Save your money and taste buds.

Not enough people check outs. I don't like the automatic check outs. I have only managed two successful ones. The other 10 needed an assistant. May be finger trouble on my part.

Stuck on Morrisons @ Tiverton car park for 5 hours waiting for the AA. 5 stars for customer service at Morrisons. The lady working the late shift on the customer service desk (16.02.23) was wonderful and so helpful! Bought snacks and drinks. 0 stars for their "Best" (more expensive) sandwiches. They were bad. Same as regular sandwich, just with an extra bit of bread in the middle. The AA will get their Trustpilot review in good time (if we ever get home...).

Went into the café for toast and coffee. My partner waited quarter of an hour for some clean cups and when they did come, they were dirty. When he said “can I have some clean cups?”, he was told give us a chance; there is only two of us working, we’re not miracle workers. None of the tables were clean. Once he got his cups and coffee, the cappuccino was very bitter and watery, managed to get another one which was only half a cup - they refilled it again, only half a cup again but not drinkable so we waited 20 minutes for a refund. Then went to the toilets which were absolutely disgusting. The worst I’ve ever seen them and I think the café and toilets need closing down until they have enough staff on! Complained to the manager who just said give us time. Such a shame, used to be a great place to go!

Just had an amazing meal in morrisons tiverton cafe. We've used a lot of morrisons cafes with not very good results. This was the best so far. The chips for lovely and crispy looking like ones from fine dining. Eggs weren't snotty. Definitely recommend the cafe in tiverton morrisons. Don't recommend Taunton one.

Slow till service, no not busy, Customer service only.

It's a Morrisons plenty of parking. Recycling was very full BUT I'm not surprised as recycling places seem to be disappearing.

All the tables were dirty and the cafe had only just opened so obviously hadn't been cleaned from the day before. Food is okay I suppose and came quickly. But the lady behind the counter was miserable. The coffee machine wasn't working so she just handed me a bag of chocolate powder and said to make my own hot chocolate cause the machine was a bit 'hit or miss'. Wouldn't recommend.

We were looking forward to a mid day meal in particular a roast as a Sunday, but only sandwiches and breakfast being served, though full menu on display, no sign saying limited menu! They said it was because short staffed but been like this for months, won’t be going there again

Pop in here on Monday around 12 noon to have some lunch. Decided what we wanted & was told, after queuing that only doing breakfast meals as short staffed. Why not put a temporary sign across their large menu letting people know this. We had our coffee & left. Much say the room itself was cold.

Usual mid size supermarket, quite well stocked in the run up to Christmas. Good seasonal offers year round, friendly staff and good local ties to the community and local charities. Still has oil and tins in stock (Apr 22) As expected, stocks back to fairly normal, notwithstanding inflation increases...

All the fresh meat is good and tasty.

Very friendly staff, and a nice place to shop. I love their bakery and fresh meat counters. All in all its a good store to do your grocery shop and they are my most local.

Not a usual visitor but impressed with the cleanliness and contents. Recommended. Just wish they had flavoured burgers apart from cheddar. Prices are pretty cheap compared to other places, especially for Pink Lady apples. Some stuff is a bit more expensive so just keep an eye out.

Always enjoy the food here. However, I feel that the prices have gone up since we last went there - or we missed out on some deals - as it seemed a bit more expensive than last time.

Sells Calor Gas, has it in stock, but wont sell it. They only having one member of staff in the garage, who can't go outside to open the cage, and only the vague "possibility" that someone who has the correct "training" might be available at ANY point during any day. Utterly useless.

Very disappointed with the cafe, insufficient staff, after 30 minutes of waiting was told couldn't have a breakfast due to staff shortages 😒
