Rude service, minimum spend enforced, food isnt worth it. This seems to be a trend for their reviews also.

Visited with my wife for coffee and cake that was advertised on a large poster outside. Was told the cake had sold out. This was 10 am in the morning. Had to wait for coffee while staff finished off their conservation. Poor customer service. Will not return. Much better independent coffee shops in town that value your custom.

Food was good quality and good value .If you would lie to eat in the carriage you would need to book but we sat outside. We could have done with an advice card on the table to tell you to give the table number as I had to queue x 2 . It was very busy with large parties inside and felt a little chaotic but once we had queued and paid for our food and drinks they came out quickly We had the Sunday roast one veggie and one pork both were well cooked .Nice little garden centre

I am leaving this review with 1 star only because I cannot give zero. I visited Coffee#1 in Plymouth on November 17th while in the area for business, and I was extremely disappointed by the experience. The staff displayed unprofessional and disrespectful behavior, with shockingly poor customer service. We were served cold coffee, and when we politely requested it be reheated, one of the waitresses responded by swearing at us. This level of behavior is entirely unacceptable and unprofessional. As someone who manages businesses across the country, I can confidently say this is the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I would strongly urge the shop owner or manager to retrain the staff to meet basic standards of respect and service. I will not be returning to this establishment, nor will I recommend it to others.

Was really excited to try out this restaurant. Had read the media coverage and have tremendous respect for the owners. It was busy, nice weather had brought the crowds out to the outside dining area. It seems impossible to get good service these days, when you do it is rare. Has eveyone good left the industry post covid... There were plenty of staff on the floor, but systems and training were clearly lacking, and the basic good standards sadly lacking. As soon as we walked in lack of a clear greeting was a sign of what was to come. We ended up waiting far too long for our mains to arrive. Other tables also complaining and warning us about the lack of service. The place itself is beautifully & tastefully done. The menu reads incredibly well. The food did not disappoint. I sat eating the Fish Soup, trying to recall a better soup that I had ever eaten. This, I have to say was the best, absolutely incredible. The rest of the dishes were well cooked, and good, but nothing knock out. Rarely give reviews, but the lack of service was a big issue. One guy seemed to be more senior, but he was way out of his depth. Not even a goodbye as we left despite making eye contact with the Manager and floor staff! Would not recommend until the service is sorted out.

I was told there was nothing available GF for lunch & it's not just being told that but how I was dismissively told by a young male member of staff. There are Baked Potatoes etc but I wasn't told that. I'm a regular for Coffee etc so I know the staff are usually excellent....

The lady in glasses was on her own was really friendly and lovely. She works really hard here. I had a tasty coffee.

Not impressed and definitely will not use again. The food was stone cold. Had to microwave it and then the burger bun became hard.

Having driven for 4 hrs a Full English on the beach was called for it was excellent, even the plate was hot pity Steve Seagull snatched a piece of my toast I followed it up for a Birthday Lunch a couple of days later Beer Crab Sandwich at its best even found a heart shaped crisp I followed it by a Damn the Diet ice cream well it was my Birthday after all Service 1st class can't wait till my next visit in 10 weeks but who is counting

Lovely cafe and setting by the lake. We visit this cafe often (nearly every week) and the coffee food and the staff are all superb. The recent menu change had made the selection even better with some lovely twists on seasoned favorites. The rosti eggs benedict is really tasty as is the avocado and feta on sourdough. Along with the lovely lakeside setting it's a favorite spot for us

Everything was stale or reheated. They kept shouting about covid rules. I was told to shut to put my mask on between bites.

One of the finest lications gor excellent good. Seating inside fir those rainy Cornidh days. Ckose to the Falmouth / St Mawes Ferry. Good coffee and excellent food.

Ordered a Sausage Bap, Bacon Bap and a Bacon and Mushroom Bap. The sausage and bacon baps were ok but the Bacon and Mushroom Bap looked horrendous (see photo)

Just bought a white crusty roll from Devizes, more like a pancake! Maybe if your staff spent more time looking at what they were putting into bags and less time trying to flog your overpriced cakes this night not happened !
