The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

Perfect Poached Eggs. We both had Eggs Benedictine which was nicely presented + had lovely gammon ham. It was very tasty + we would definitely eat here again. Kirsty behind the bar was very welcoming. She was a very capable barmaid, she was the only 1 serving but was calm + not flustered when there was a queue. I had to report 1 of the toilets being in a terrible mess. Kirsty apologised + said she would address the matter immediately + that she was sorry I had to see that. Previously if I have ever had to report a toilet needs attention in other shops or stores it is brushed off + hardly acknowledged. So well done Kirsty, the best service I have received in a very long time…..

Do not be fooled by the management pictures of the rooms. They were taken in 2016 and have probably not be refreshed or updated since. The rooms are badly in need of a makeover. They are false advertising! We went with friends for a 2 night stay over the August Bank Holiday. I would suggest they stick to running a pub and leave the hotel business well alone! Check in states 3pm, it was 4.10pm before we could get into our rooms. To make it worse the staff had a "whatever" attitude. We came back to our rooms gone 4pm to chill on the Saturday, only to find our room had not been refreshed. When asked why, they said, "oh, your room is next and it is just a top-up of teas & coffees"!!!! If it is just a top up of teas & coffees, the question remains..... why was it not done?? We had to go back out again!! Having emailed them on our return home, they said they had had some issues that weekend! Sorry, we paid for a service and to have a room at 3pm, whatever issues they have is not our problem. Like I said at the beginning of this review, they should forget the hotel side and concentrate on the pub.

Called in here during hop festival. Two apple crumbles with two small pineapple juices in plastic cups for almost £17.. What a rip off !

Got served today by store manager who asked if I had the cafe Neuro app. I said I didn’t I was more of a Costa girl. He gave me a large instead of regular I paid for and a stamp card he stamped extra on and said little incentive to get the app. Great customer service, will be switching 👍🏻

Love the garden centre, sadly the cafe has gone downhill. Not very clean.

I have used this pub for many years and it is not and never has been a 'gastro' pub. Its an average pub/restaurant with very average food. We had snacks and drinks . I was charged £ 7.20 for a pint of lager , the most expensive pint in a very expensive area and when i asked one of the staff, politely , to top up the enormous head on the beer ( probably about a pounds worth of foam !) she reluctantly did, stating that her manager insisted that 5% is head, 95% rest. I corrected her that this wasnt an oversized glass, so i could have the pint with no head up to brim by law , if i so wished and at £ 7.20 a pint there should be no argument... The interior decor is ok , the outside gazebo is filthy and the garden is overgrown.....AVOID unless you crave mediocrity at high prices

This used to be a great place to go for a meal out with friends... But it has gone downhill! Went there on Sunday, and will NOT return. Had to wait well over an hour for a reasonable / average burger. Apparently neither the kitchen nor the wait staff has any clue what they're doing: "you should have said something after 20 minutes ". Uh, no, I didn't come here to run your restaurant for you. After "they're plating up your order now" several dishes for other tables came out of the kitchen. In the end, it took another 15 minutes to get our food. At least we were promised a complimentary round of drinks. Naturally some of those complimentary drinks ended up on the bill anyway. As was a 10% service charge. When we pointed this out we didn’t even get a “ sorry”; just an “ OK” and a shrug. The manager we spoke to earlier couldn’t be arsed to come and ask what was wrong, despite watching (and hearing) us complaining from a few tables away. Other noteworthy things: - we watched two hamburgers dying on the hotplate for more than 10 minutes before they were sent out. Luckily not to our table. McDonald’s does this better. - We ordered an Estrella beer. According to the waitress they didn’t serve Estrella. So we pointed out that is was on the drinks menu. “ Oh, we must have run out” . Yeah right. - A vegan burger was ordered, but apparently the vegan bun for it wasn’t available… - None of the wait staff seemed to be able to carry more than 2 things at a time. All this drama during a quiet time (we’d booked a table at 5pm). Given the above, it was easy to understand why, despite the great location, it was so quiet in there.

Just had coffee so can't really comment 100% . The place was really busy and but not particularly clean, but served it's purpose. Toilet facilities were disappointing, there being only one unisex toilet and a disabled one.

Thought I would give this another try after my last visit over a year ago. No. Just no. No improvement whatsoever. It has all the glitz and glamour deco but none of the substance. The owner should look into the best service and food available elsewhere. The Swedish cafe in Horsham are spot on. Take a leaf out of their book for improvement.

We called in for lunch on our way home. I had the ham and eggs….left over 50% of it. Chewy fatty ham and too much coleslaw spoilt what should be simple fayre. Based on what i had….terrible.

I have seldom been to a Costa with more miserable, slow staff. I stood at the counter for 7 minutes before I asked one of the two men who were chatting to serve me. With a raised eyebrow he condescended to take my order. I received tea instead of coffee and when I remonstrated was told not to shout (I wasn’t) I was thrown a cup of black coffee and when I asked for milk I accidentally spilled a couple of drops on the floor. The look on the girls face said it all. The customer next to me also complained about the slow service he said “it’s always like this in here”. Honestly the worst place I have been to in ages. The toilets were clean as was the shop but the staff were plain awful.

As I walked into the Costa, I was hoping for a nice warm drink, but during my stride I was rudely interrupted by one of the employees, and she abruptly screamed at me and my friends, saying “NO, NO, CLOSED” in a very hostile tone. I was distraught, I held my head down in shame as I walked off, never to enter the shop again.

Really good menu options, nice local pub with good beer choice and friendly service, highly recommend for a spot of lunch.

Very pleasant social experience. The prices ere reasonable and the staff very friendly and efficient.
