We have been eyeing up a Sunday roast here for a few months and finally managed to make it as my other half booked for a birthday. Not knowing what to expect we booked a table and were warmly welcomed by the chap behind the bar. Instantly made to feel welcome we sat down with our drinks. Orders were quickly taken and the food arrived shortly after. Firstly the portion size is very generous, more importantly the food was not only hog but every element was exceptional. I have never had so many vegetable options on one plate and everyone from the garlic infused greens to the beetroot were tasty. Overall probably the best roast we have had when eating out and could not recommend highly enough.
Have repeat purchased meals from Chips On The Hill and will be a repeat customer in future. The food on all occasions have been hot, tasty and well priced. Staff are friendly and orders can we rung through in advance of collection. Highly recommended for all looking for a fantastic chippy.
First visit with family for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it!
Arrived at 1pm, found seating easily (dog friendly too).
Ordered from the counter, cheese and tomato toasted sandwich, fish finger sandwich and bacon and brie panini, two mugs of tea and a water.
All arrived quickly and presentation was well executed, side salad and pot of crisps. Condiments available from the counter.
Staff were friendly and attentive, a nice atmosphere with lots of customers coming and going. Nice and clean, cannot fault anything.
Highly recommend !

Had a do here for my brother's 65th birthday, We went for their standard buffet package and the food was amazing, a lot of choice and plenty of it. I dealt with Nicole throughout the arrangements and she was brilliant and so helpful and accommodating even decorating the room with decorations we provided. On the day all the staff were so helpful, everyone had a great time. I would thoroughly recommend The Clatford Arms, and a big bit thankyou to all for making it a lovely afternoon.

The GeoCafé is still setting the standard for both coffee shops and bakeries.
Alot of the coffee chains charge as much but don't come close in food quality.
The outstanding onsite bakery provides the bread and many of the pastries.
The medialuna (solid Spanish-style pastries often mistaken for croissants) are unique, delicious and satisfying.
Excellent quality groceries, coffee and pastries much loved by the locals.
Where to start, the traditional taftoon bread was the shop bought pita bread, all of the starters tasted like manufactured and put on the plate with ridiculous prices. Rice portions super small. Overall I would rather have a sandwich than eating at Persian Lounge.
As a table of 7, we felt neglected. It was like there was too many of us and no one wanted to look after us. It took a while for someone to even take our drinks order. It was also a long wait for our food too. No one checked back to see if the food was okay. We kept having to get waiters attention to order more drinks etc. The food was excellent, really yummy and it was lovely to have choice in one place. Waiters were lovely, just a long wait for food which was a bit annoying.
First time trying the Codfather. The service was functional, not that friendly - could have been better. The food was ok. Similar to every fish & chippy in the area. No real point of difference.

Used to order from here a lot via the Just Eat website, but they got really expensive. Food and service was usually really good. Will have to give them another try
