Nice little café in Cuckfield. The sweet potato salad is superb.

A lovely place which was super dog friendly. The staff were a bit of a mix of sweet but at the same time, slightly unhelpful. I asked about menu options and no one really had a clue. No alternative options were made which is just frustrating. The sweetness definitely didn't make up for the lack of customer service here unfortunately. Some of the menu options were super pricey compared to the other menu items. The coffees were great though. Not sure I'd rush back here if I'm honest.

Tom the chef and the Waitress Rosy were both integral to help create a fantastic 40th birthday celebration, with the cafe providing a intimate private space for a laid back atmosphere amongst celebrating friends. It felt very special having the cafe to ourselves on a Saturday night and the food was also a big part of the enjoyment - Tom curating a delicious seasonal menu with minimal input (he was very laid back with the email comms. but delivered superbly) and professionally announcing each dish which was presented to a fancy, high-end restaurant quality. All the guests were raving about how nice it was and more importantly, my wife admitted she could not have planned a better evening herself to celebrate a big birthday. Well worth the expense as an excellent, intimate private dining experience. Many thanks Tom and the excellent Rosy!

Visited Tom's Food for the first time in several months this past weekend (Feb 24) and the experience was as good as ever! Had Tom's signature Cinammon Buns which were exceptional. Pastrami Bagel and a couple of coffee's. The flat white and latte's were even better then the last time we were here! I could've had the entire experience all over again immediately it was so delicious! Don't know when the next visit will be, but really looking forward to it! Oh and - the front of house crew are as welcoming and friendly as ever. Just really nice people that work here. This team deserves all the success.

Lovely village cafe, very good food, nice coffee, Brighton’s Real Patisserie pastries (and bread in your sandwiches and food), young charming service and a slightly old school vibe. Excellent.

We had an excellent brunch at Tom's with friendly service and delicious treats. The atmosphere was just what we were looking for - cosy, family friendly and welcoming. It seem like a home away from home for locals and we can see why :) This was our first, but definitely not the last trip there.

The resturant had been booked for a private function, the food was exceptional and Tom was delightful, explaining every course.

Not bad at all....worth a visit if only for the citrus smoothie AND ginger cake! Excellent thanks. I'll be back.

Was okay, felt like this coffee shop has grand ideas but can't quite pull it off. There was reserved tables and hardly anyone in. Floor was really grubby, old food doghair and the tables sticky and just not clean, had a dog begging for food by putting it's head on my knee which I think belonged to the owner. When will people learn that not everyone likes dogs around them where food is being served, I really wanted lunch but put me off. Remove the begging dog, Give the place a good clean and paint the walls and I'd come back. Had all the bones of a nice shop but fall flat on its face with the execution. I have to say the food all looked great (shame I was put off trying it by the dog and tables) and the coffee was lovely, I mean it was really good!

Lovely quirky little foody cafe... Not much in the way of vegan but what we did have was great quality...

Excellent vegan vegetarian and meat dishes. I loved it 😍 we even got takeaway for later too.

I have visited Bob's food twice now, and both times the coffee and food were fantastic. The sausage rolls seemed quite small but were very filling, and the pastrami bagel was just perfect. Would recommend.

Disappointed We went for brunch last Saturday after reading the reviews and ratings. Service was adequate at best, not the most welcoming of staff - less so after twice returning a supposed cappuccino that was, in fact, a latte which wasn't wanted/ordered but still charged. Sadly our food failed to live up to expectations. The decor however was nice

What a little gem! Popped in here for a take away bagel and can honestly say it was one of the best bagels I have ever had. Pastrami with celeriac slaw (and other bits). Went back the next day for a delicious duck and lentil salad. Reasonably priced, friendly service and that chocolate brownie…

I dropped in for a cuppa. Lovely young lady serving, great surroundings and delicious looking food although only there for a drink myself. Will definitely return.

Delicious poached eggs on toast with feta. I can honestly say, the best breakfast I can remember. Along with the very unusual but delicious Boost juice drink. Even the tea although a normal brand tasted exceptionally good. Very good unintrusive service too. I don't think we were given the option to leave a tip on our card and we had no cash.

A lovely little cafe with very friendly staff. We took my Granny here for a cup of coffee and a cake. The pastries were lovely! We will definitely come by again.

Gorgeous cafe serving delicious food & coffee. Friendly service. What more can you ask for? We had slices of freshly baked spinach & cashew tart; and squash, caramelised onion & feta tart (this was the best); then a lamb tagine.

Really lovely cafe with great food and a nice atmosphere. During lockdown we've ordered Real Patisserie bread and croissants here at the weekends which has been great as HH lacks any good bakeries.

We went for lunch on a Monday. Delicious Food -compact menu, beautifully executed, a couple of lunch muffins, homemade soup and a couple of heartier salad beautiful setting, attentive staff. Alcohol available. Definitely worth a visit.

Service very poor. Waitress barely spoke. I had to find someone to take our order. Food was OK but expensive. Would not go there again

Cafe good, unfortunately fell foul of the parking restrictions in the free carpark. One expensive cup.if tea.

Gets very packed and noisy with locals meeting here. Cake is great but coffee is like dishwater.

b Been before to this lovely cafe but today, on sitting at the only vacant table with no reserved sign, was told by a very frosty waitress that it was reserved and gave us no alternative but to leave. Won't be visiting again. Very ruffled of Seaford.

The food is delicious and well presented. Every time I've been I've had a warm welcome and was served as soon as I sat down.

In the lovely village of Cuckfield a truly lovely food experience! Warmly reccomend. Light lunches and delicious drinks with the added bonus of a nice accessories shop at the back (so you can browse while you wait for your food).

So happy to have come across this little gem. Gorgeous brunch this morning.
