Amazing food! Lovely staff very warm and welcoming honestly the best Italian food I’ve had in years!

Very good pizza (quattro formaggi) even better atmosphere (very siciliana, with typical sicilian deocrations) and even better staff. Got greeted with kindness, and the food was amazing

Probably the best linguine Bolognese I've ever eaten 😭 It was simple but delicious, I'm still thinking about it two days later! The welcome and service was very friendly, I recommend!

What a gem of a restaraunt! Driving through Lindfield looking for a place to eat I took note of the Italian Flag on the road, noticed the quaint looking Italian restaraunt, found a place to park and popped in with my friend. Instantly I knew I had made a good decision. Immediately we were greated by one of the waiting staff, a larger than life character who politely with humour helped us find a table and organise drinks & food. We went for a red wine and a simple bolognese & gnocchi for our meal and OMG... out of this world. Very simple but bursting with flavour, and very happy with the wine. During our time we said hello and spoke to others of the waiting staff and it was obvious how happy & harmonious this serving team were. Ending with brief history on the place, a small tip and promises to come back... I must say we left very happy and pleased with ourselves that we'd stumbled across this absolute gem - would highly recommend ❤️

Visited for a lovely lunch with my family. Although not busy on the day, food was excellent. Numerous Italian food choices with seafood or meat. Pizza also beautiful. Friendly service and price point reasonable for quality. Approx 25 per head with a drink and service.Enjoy!

We had our daughters 7th birthday party there and it was brilliant. The staff were so helpful and great with the kids. The pizza was delicious as well. Would highly recommend.

We found this little gem by chance and I'm so glad we did! Everything was perfect, all of the staff are really nice, friendly and welcoming. As soon as we stepped into That's Amore we knew we'd found something special. The food was incredible, we will definitely be returning again soon.

We had such a great time at That's Amore! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed evening out. The food and atmosphere here is absolutely amazing. The cooking is perfection. We had mushroom risotto and a pizza and every bite was dreamy. Highly recommend this restaurant to eat out. Very happy with the experience here.

I went to That’s Amore for the first time just over a month ago, and I’ve been back twice since then. Every time I visit, I’m welcomed warmly by the waitress, and they’re always so good with my little one. The food is great—even my chef partner, who is usually very critical, loves it. It’s also my little one’s favorite place to eat. I love that it feels authentically Italian. For a Spaniard like me, it’s great having authentic Mediterranean food. I’ve had two different waitresses, and although I only know the name of one, Simona, both have been fantastic. The prices aren’t cheap, but nothing is cheap nowadays. However, the experience and quality make it definitely worth it.

After our long hike last July 13th we googled nearby restaurants for our dinner and That’s Amore was the first choice! Most of the Staff were welcoming especially Simona - I am not sure if I spelt it right. The food 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 and the service is commendable! If you love Italian cuisine and you are nearby, That’s Amore is worth to visit and eat!

A lovely little Italian restaurant tucked away off Lindfield High Street. Very friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. The food freshly prepared was delicious.

First time my husband & I have eaten in That's Amore and certainly will not be our last.What a lovely place great staff,excellent food and a lovely atmosphere.Cannot wait to go back.

I would have loved to be able to give a review on the quality of the food, but since it never arrived, I think the one star review is the only rating I can give. Whatever you do, don’t order food for delivery on a Friday evening. And if you do, don’t ring up the restaurant to find out what happened with your order, completely pointless. We waited for over an hour beyond the time given when placing the order hours before it was due and in the end had to contact Deliveroo to cancel our order.

Best Italian restaurant in West Sussex and we will be returning.

I cannot praise this restaurant enough. Food is fresh, perfectly cooked and staff are attentive. Lovely atmosphere. If you like fresh fish ( delivered fresh daily, I was informed) then this is the place to go for a good few miles around. Have eaten at lots of fish restaurants and I would say this is at the top. Well done That's Amore, we will be back!!!!

A lovely delicious lunch at That’s Amore with kind and considerate service and scrumptious food. We asked in advance for a table in a quiet area and if the music could be played quite low to make things more comfortable for our autistic daughter, and explained to the staff that some of us might be a bit late and need some flexibility in the order that we had some of the food etc. Everything was arranged just as we asked and this was so helpful. Our lovely lady was so patient and non-pressurising, checking in about music volume levels and taking our orders very calmly and without rushing. This helped us to have a really enjoyable family meal when we don’t get out to restaurants together as a rule! Thankyou for helping it to happen - we’ll be back soon!

Service was quick food was OK but the addition £2.50 for what would appear to be a shop brought gluten free base from a already above average price felt like a bit of a rip off.

We booked the pizza party for my wife’s birthday we had 3 adults and 3 kids in our party. It was an absolute blast! From kneading dough to choosing toppings, every moment was filled with laughter and fun. The atmosphere was lively, the ingredients were fresh, and the pizzas turned out incredibly delicious. It was a fantastic way to bond with family while learning a new skill. Highly recommend for anyone who loves good food and good company! Grazie for a memorable experience! Looking forward to attending again soon!

I have enjoyed meals here many times and each visit was consistently excellent. The food is authentic (I lived near Naples for a year in ny 20s) and freshly cooked to order and the service is warm and welcoming. The pizzas are delicious and all the dishes we ordered were enjoyed by adults and children alike. I recommend this wonderful place whole heartedly - wish I lived in Lindfield full-time so that I could enjoy it every week!

Wonderful friendly family run restaurant. We recently had my daughters joint 8th birthday here - a pizza party. Staff were so kind and great with the children. Best pizza and defiantly best icecream in the area. So lucky for Lindfield to have such a gem of a restaurant. Cant wait to go back with the children.

The best Italian I’ve had for a long time, and I’ve spent a lot of time in Italy so I’d like to think I know a thing or two! The service was fantastic and the team were so friendly to accommodate a large group of us (15 of us). If you want to try some authentic Italian this is the place to go! A very reasonable price too

Terrible service and attitude from the staff I the restaurant. The food is always nice but it is such a shame that the service has really deteriorated - we've had many happy meals here but the last one was spoilt by staff trying to rush us through and close the restaurant early.

Extremely late, timings got extended by an hour. Pizza was cold and you could tell it had been sat waiting, ended up throwing it out.

I went here with my children and my wife around Halloween, and the food is AMAZING. The service is also very good. It only took about 10 minutes to be served. That's Amore put up great decorations and was very warm and cosy;I am definitely coming back here!Did not let us down!!!

What a great Italian Restaurant in the heart of the village of Lindfield. The staff very attentive and knowledgeable of all the dishes. Great atmosphere and with Halloween 👻 soon, the decorations very spooky, perfect for a party. We ordered Gnocchi Pesto & Pasta Bolognaise, brilliant 🤩 and exceptional! To accompany the meal a tasty salad with black olives. Well worth a visit and going back soon 😋

we had a childrens party here making pizzas - 16 of the little monkeys! its not the same as the larger franchises doing pizza making - the chefs come out, the staff get involved - its much more family orientated and friendly and engaging than doing the same thing in those larger franchise restaurants. I would absolutely recommend this place if you want something different, fun and more intimate to your party

Rushed. Service was terrible. Wine brought to the table way before the meal and even before the pre dinner cocktails we ordered. Servers constantly tried to clear the table, but then had to wait a long time before we could pay and only then after calling loudly. Two puddings were unavailable, which we mentioned when asked if everything was alright. When we said not really, the owner was clearly amazed and accused us of being rude and started to argue with me about pudding availability. Don't ask if you don't want an answer. We won't be going back.

Very disappointed with my experience at THATS AMORE. Pizza I had the tomato sauce was very Watery and did not taste of anything. The Tiramisu cake was very good and the coffee was good . ATMOSPHERE . The staff letting someone he know have a video call on full volume so the whole restaurant can hear it(can hear it from the toilet 10/15m away) is really kills the mood of trying to celebrate a new job with the Wife. SERVICE, the lady we had was very friendly and food came out quick

We last came to this restaurant over 5 years ago -not as nice as I remembered - felt like a mish mash of a restaurant, odd furniture, loose chair covers, lots of old china and bottles of liquid and cheap junk on window sills along with ice cream display and loads of Halloween decorations. Food was served very quickly and ok. £80 bill for two starters, two main course, one dessert, coffee and a coke and beer. Unfortunately will not be coming back again - shame 🥲

Food was so brilliant! Staff were so friendly, lovely and attentive (especially the manager Simona). Really really liked the atmosphere. My husband is Italian and said the vibe was very accurate and felt as if he was back home in Italy! I’d highly recommend having a meal here to everybody, the pizza cooks have unbelievable talent as well. Thank you so much for such a lovely time to the staff at That’s Amore!

Unlikely to go back. Saturday dinner - rushed through, feels like they want you in & out as quickly as possible. Ordered cocktails but the starter wine & cocktails all arrived at the same time 🙄.. honestly felt like you were being rushed. A 3 course dinner was done with in an hour. Then the bill - it came quickly but we spent 25 minutes waiting pay. 🙄 we were done by 9:30 and there were only 2 other tables left. It seems they were more interested in getting everyone out quickly. food nice enough but two puddings weren't available from a smallish list. A second choice (chocolate truffle Tarte) came microwaved. Why? It's a cold dessert.

We had a problem with our order, the carbonara it lacked the parmesan & egg sauce and seasoning and was really bland, so I called the business and they personally brought me a replacement by delivery (not something they generally do) so I was really happy with this The new carbonara was seasoned, a nice amount of salt and pepper and the pasta water had been added, it did still lack the cheesy (parmesan-egg sauce) but the second time it was good, I do not recommend the carbonara if you are used to your carbonaras creamy. The pizzas were fantastic, we went with the hotdog pizza and the Carmel pizza, they look stoned baked very rustic, lovely pizzas I cannot fault them. I give 5 stars because That's Amore will go out of their way to help their customers if there has been a genuine mistake, thank you for being so professional and putting things right for us - we will order again. - Mitch

Our waitress and chef (assuming they’re the new owners) were incredible hosts, especially working in this heat, hats off to them both they did an amazing job! We popped in here for lunch whilst wondering around Lindfield. Was such a lovely dinner and afternoon. The food was gorgeous and the service from the waitress and the chef was super friendly. Felt like we were on holiday in Italy. Highly recommend

At last Lindfield has a good Italian Restaurant

Food was not hot. Was late. Order was missing the chips and rocket salad. The seabass dish was not hot. The seafood was poor quality and tasted frozen. The sauce was not very tasty.Not at all worth 19.89! I want a refund or the restaurant to send my next order with them free of charge to make up for the poor experience

We arrived at place welcomed by a beautiful smile of a waitress, and the service and food was no different! Calzone fresh home made bread very subtle not chewy very delicious, tomato sauce and fillings were generous. Ricotta pistachio ravioli had a creamy deliciousness with hints of asparagus and spinach. The name so suits the service, food and atmosphere. Amazing atmosphere of true Italian family run restaurant, will come back 100% Thank you kindly for a great afternoon x

Excellent authentic Italian food

We’ve just enjoyed the most beautiful meal! We arrived to a lovely, smiling Christina who was a wonderful host. We’ve eaten Italian food in many places but this is the best Italian food we’ve ever had. Calamari to start - perfect. Then my husband had the seafood linguine and I had king prawn and courgette tagliatelle - absolutely incredible. The flavours were so fresh and beautiful. For dessert we had freshly made cannoli - so creamy and delicious. The lovely chef was so friendly and chatty. We will definitely be back, a new favourite!

We love this little Italian in the village, the food is absolutely delicious and good value for the quality, run by an Italian family who are always friendly and work hard. The decor isnt anything special but the food is. Highly recommend.
