Fantastic little bar that is fabulously shabby but has a great charm to it. Like that they have kept the old shop signage out front, adds to it. Really like this place will visit again. Staff lovely and polite 😄

This bar has a great, joyful atmosphere! Its very vibey and the noise level is just right. I stayed at the AirBnB room they have attached to the bar - this was also very clean, private, felt super safe, and they provided me with milk for tea/coffee in the morning. It was the perfect space for my solo journey to Folkestone!

Good beers n wine. Had a chance to get back to the bar 23/12. Food and staff are excellent. Highly recomended.

My son turned 10 and The Space Bar pizzas are his absolute favs! We were able to book out the whole bar for 30 of us including 13 of my sons friends! To have an hour & half of fun games & delish pizzas! The manager & barmaid were delightful, helping at every opportunity they could! They played a playlist suited to the party & put their disco lights with disco ball on for the whole time too! They made a personalised menu board for the kids & made them feel like grown ups allowing them to order their own pizzas and drinks! They added ice-cream as a desert too. We had a few coeliac guests and one dairy intolerant and these were served the same quality pizzas suiting their needs 😊 If Space Pizzas are a favourite of your family I 100% Recommend getting in touch to book for a special occasion.

Great place, amazing pork belly pizza, super friendly staff!

For no reason I've walked past this place for too long! Randomly went in to have a look around and stayed for a quick drink! Saw one of the pizzas come out and looked and smelt lovely and will definitely go back to try them. Nice beer selection and one of the best looking garden areas in Folkestone!

Great atmosphere, gorgeous beer garden which looks beautiful in the evenings all lit up... Bring back the DJ sets and it'd be perfect!

Amazing pizza and garlic bread with homemade garlic confit. Excellent draught cider (I had the rhubarb one) and very friendly service. We sat in the back garden area and it was lovely (perfect for our dog too!)

I really like this place! It's different, it's quirky, it hits the "this is why Folkestone is a great place to visit " nail, right on the head. Yes the cocktails are expensive, but you tell me a place where they aren't, plus, you don't have to drink cocktails *other drinks are available!" You pay your money and you make your choice. The place has a great atmosphere and caters to all age groups, I've always found a very eclectic crowd in the place and unlike one of the other reviewers, I've always found the staff to be friendly and attentive. Josh, the barman, in particular. He pays attention to his customers and goes out of his way to make sure they're happy - on our last visit he asked us all our names, so we'd no longer be anonymous. That kind of service makes you feel welcome. We really like the place. Oh and in the summer the garden is open too, with music... and the atmosphere extends out there. On another note it used to be a record shop, that I happened to manage for a number of years - there's a commemorate plaque outside on the wall. So it was a great record shop and now it's a great bar..there must be some positive force in the bricks and mortar!

Found this place by accident. Looked interesting with outside space. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Had a couple of drinks in the quirky garden with a couple of friends. Liked it so much popped back on way home. Great cocktails!..

This place is absolutely gorgeous and well decorated. The garden bar has a lot of nice seating areas and it is filled with nice artsy stuff without being cluttered. The staff was lovely and we got what we wanted with not much issues. Toilets are genderless. There is also a place to wash your hands near the entrance to the garden bar.

Eclectic and quirky, beautiful cider, host very nice, Emily the server is kind and helpful.

They've done a great job to reopen this place and still keep that same vibe they always had. Love what they've done with the garden which is a great place to chill when it's hot and you don't fancy the crowds of the arm. Epic staff and great music!

Unique! Go to Space there is nowhere like it. Loved the fun and relaxed atmosphere. Went to a DJ night and also a silent disco here. Loved it. Thank you Andy & Sam

Great place, always a good atmosphere with some banging music!

Great place... Only issue was the gentlemen behind the bar not serving a couple because the guy asked for a brandy glass for his brandy. Seemed strange. The guy behind the bar ended up drinking the brandy to annoy the customer. I'm certain it's illegal to drink while working. It was the only downfall

This was a lovely place to pass the time on a sizzling spring afternoon. The tunes and vibe reminded me of sunny days in Ibiza. Shame we couldn't hang out longer now that we have a toddler and dog on tow but they also felt very welcome here. Lovely clean toilets too.

Perfect for a night out! Amazing local vibe, with great new wave music and local lager. Big beer garden at the back, lovely staff and crowd.

It's a small bar with great music, live dj sets. Go through to the garden and it's massive. Really nice and friendly staff too

If you like being ripped off and literally laughed at over drink prices go here. Some of the try hard crowd are nice but the majority are paralytic headless chickens running around spilling drinks. Really immature crowd nice concrete garden to escape to.
