Roka Pizza Sandgate in Shepway

I had the pepperoni 10” pizza and the homemade banoffee. It arrived hot and was very nice!

Unfortunately, with the last few deliveries the pizza has been arriving that little bit colder each time - it used to be lovely & hot! Maybe they've had more deliveries recently - which is a shame because it really is the nicest pizza in Folkestone usually.

Pizza good flavour but a soggy base

Stayed in a nearby hotel and found this place. Cheaper than Dominos or Pizza Hut if ordering online! had a lot of variety of pizzas, milkshakes, waffles and ice creams! Definitely coming back!

This was by far the BEST find on JustEat. Real authentic food. The food was still piping hot on arrival. Big portions for such an amazing price. So flavoursome too!! I’ll be trying the desserts next time!! Thank you!!!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Pepperoni pizza was very good, however on other they are using the white anchovies, personally I think the small tinned black ones are much better for pizza as they give that salty kick without tasting fishy. Also forgot to add garlic and chilli.

Delicious pizza delivered piping hot. Pizzas are crispy and thin with generous toppings 😋 we had pepperoni and Fiorentina 🍕

I recently had a pizza for the first time from Roka in Sandgate, and it was such a great experience. The pizza was amazing—crispy crust, fresh toppings, and full of flavour. What made it even better was enjoying it by the beach. Sitting by the water with the sound of the waves in the background made it all so relaxing. By the way, it is very pleasant to know that the business is family-oriented and very professional in its delivery. I can't wait to come back and try the different flavours. If you're ever in Sandgate, I highly recommend grabbing a pizza and heading to the beach. It's a simple, perfect way to enjoy good food and a beautiful view.

Pizza was nice (the bits that had cheese) but had the large and the small the wrong way around which was a bit disappointing.

Roka is our all-time favourite pizza place! The Roka fire is incredible, and if you enjoy it hot id recommend adding extra chilli and garlic (which they didn't charge for)! The cheesy garlic bread is also to die for. Highly recommended! Julie and Jack are also extremely kind and will do anything to help accommodate your needs. 10/10 from us!

Terrible. Both pizzas that we ordered were totally burnt. The base was actually black and charcoal like. We had to throw them away. We have ordered once before and the pizzas were good that time, but this time we waited nearly an hour (and the restaurant didn’t update the app about preparing, delivering etc) and got this unbeatable burnt charcoal mess. Won’t order from them again.

The pizzas were amazing and made to our customisations. So much better quality than the chains. Food arrived early too which was a bonus.

Pesto chicken pizza is amazing

Pizza came without the advertised fresh basil, which kinda ruined the dish. On calling was told sorry, we don’t do fresh basil anymore. Maybe update your menu??

Pizza burnt on one side looked like other side was damp and re warmed potatoes burnt on top and base of box and totally drown in salt dip gorgeous delivery ordered at 1814 delivered at 1831 Sandgate to Folkestone 10 minutes how was this freshly prepared?? Sorry got from here before and never an issue but tonight terrible

Used to work in an authentic Italian pizzeria, these guys do it bang on! Italians would be proud, best in folkestone

Chicken Pesto Pizza was outstanding!! could have that all day long. The lasagna on the other hand was not at all what I expected. If you want a bowl of passata, few lasagna sheets and barely any beef mince, please go ahead and buy it but don't tell me that I didn't warn you. Roka please improve your Lasagna. Thanks

Delicious pizza, hot off the oven!

Excellent food as always. Piping hot meatballs, delicious. Salad was amazing really good rocket and Parmesan cheese. Highly recommend.

The delivery time was good, earlier than expected although I do live quite close to the shop, the quality of the food disappointed me a bit however. I ordered a Biscoff waffle, while the toppings were nice the actual waffle itself was burnt around the edges to the point you could taste it. I also ordered a Carne Primo Pizza; this was extremely salty, quite lacking on toppings, and the extra mozzarella I paid for hadn't even been put on, quite disappointed overall.

I have ordered from Roka before but sadly this time the pizza and waffle were disappointingly too flat, burnt underneath but soggy and mainly inedible on top.

Best pizza I’ve had, beats anything by domino’s/papa johns. Tastes authentic and fresh, extremely high quality and a great menu. Great selection of desserts and shakes too. The caramel cream pie will change your life.

very good, ordered 2 pizzas 2 milkshakes and a portion of cajun roast potatoes. pizzas where lovely they put loads of cheese on so if thats your thing this is the place for you the roasties where the best ive ever had and the milkshakes are the best ive found in folkestone i reccomend checking this place out

First time visiting roka pizza. They was not busy we was the only people waiting outside, got told pizza will be ready in 10 minutes. We was waiting for 35 minutes for our pizza to be done which was very frustrating and annoying considering we had been told 10 minutes by the waiter. They seemed to be prioritising Uber eat orders over my order as delivery drivers kept turning up and collecting pizzas to deliver, I was getting very frustrated and was so close to just telling them to give me my money back. The pizza made up for the wait, it was delicious we got a 10 inch Hawaiian and it was one of the nicest pizzas I’ve had, very thin base but a very thick base of toppings, the sizes of the pizza could of been better though. We finished it pretty quick and bigger pizzas would definitely be better! Overall better customer service is needed and customer priority over Uber eats orders.

The food was absolutely horrible, dry, I have taken photos of how dry the waffle was, no sauce at all, just a waffle and loads of crushed Biscoff, no sauce. We have been loyal users for years and have had many amazing experiences so I think it was just a one off but when I called to gently say I wasn’t happy and it was so dry I left half of the waffle the service was terrible, a man called Sam and the manager didn’t care either. We won’t order again. Sad because they lost a good loyal customer.

Order placed at 7:35pm and not received until 9:01pm. Extremely disappointed, and would put me off using again. Food itself was good, but not enough to justify the long wait.

First time I've used Roka, I was thinking of getting a pizza but ordered lasagne instead. There was enough for two.it was delicious (stuffed) , it had a bit too much passata (tomato sauce) in for me. Next time wil try pizza. Delivery on time and driver very polite. 😘

Calzone was amazing, meatballs (although I suspect not made in house due to texture of frozen) were delicious in the marinara and the melted cheese on top is a nice touch. Garlic mayo is also yummy. Arrived hot and fresh, no complaints. Will order again

Usually really good but the last couple of orders I’ve had the waffles have been slightly undercooked and very thin. Hopefully next time will be better x

Love, Love, Love this place. Regularly have a delivery from them. Pizzas are fantastic as are the sides and drinks. If you live within a 3.5 mile radius delivery is free if you order directly from them. Food comes out piping hot. You won't be disappointed!!!
