We'd wanted to try the tacos as we'd heard how good they are. They did not disappoint, we tried 3 different ones between us. My husbands favourite was Chicken Chipotle Taco and mine was the beef brisket taco. The staff were very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious tasty food. Thank you Mexican Dan and team.

Highly recommend this pub/restaurant. 8 of us including a young child were made extremely welcome at a time when there was also a quiz night and the food and service were faultless. Between us we had starters including mushroom with goats cheese, duck spring rolls, calamari - empty plates all round. Then venison burgers, loin of venison, a lovely chicken dish, and choice of pizzas for the child. Everything cooked beautifully. I understand they now have an excellent team in the kitchen and we certainly can vouch for what we had. A great meal, and we are looking forward to returning.

Cute cafe with great toasties and coffee. Staff really friendly and helpful with a good range of food choices including baked potatoes, toasties and sandwiches. Coffee was a good sized cup with a mellow flavour. Good prices and a great view over the Mermaid Beach.

I don't usually leave reviews but I had such a good day. The food is out of this world. The service was very good, and all the staff were friendly and efficient. The views were beautiful. I could have stayed all day, the whole family [ ranging from 4 years to 65 years of age] enjoyed the whole experience. I will be going as often as possible. Fully recommend this cafe.

Had a voucher for afternoon tea, having read the reviews we were slightly dubious and unfortunately we were right to be. Food arrived after 40 mins, it was clearly all previously frozen as some of the cakes were freezing, scones the worst I've ever tasted and rock hard. Chipped crockery and stained tea pots etc. Overall a very underwhelming experience and I felt sorry for people coming in and paying almost ÂŁ40 for this afternoon tea, dreadful, would never return.

Avoid for anything other than a coffee. We came here because it's dog friendly. Ordered a tuna, mayonnaise and cucumber sandwich at an eye watering ÂŁ9.75! So I was expecting something spectacular. I received a soggy, brown bread sandwich that I could have made that badly at home. Absolutely no effort. Manufactured tuna mayo filling paste with a few bits of cucumber served - no, thrown - in a bowl. Yes, a bowl. With a miniscule amount of chopped, browning lettuce, red pepper and two halves of cherry tomato. My wife's toasted sandwich was even worse. It looked like two bits of toast squashed together. Neither were even worth the ÂŁ2.75 we were each charged for 12 chips. So two sandwiches, 3 portions of 12 chips and three coffees, nearly ÂŁ40!!! Furthermore, the food was brought to the table by a waitress and when we enquired as to our coffee's, we were told that we were supposed to collect them from the counter after paying. Except the member of staff dealing with the orders and payments couldn't be bothered to tell anyone the procedure. Our coffee was then of course, cold. So with some surly effort they were replaced with fresh ones. Never to be visited again. Sky high prices for dreadful food.

Really poor experience. Ended up coming here from The Cliff and it’s always been a really great experience. A lady at the door told us that there was another bar open which I didn’t hear so I confirmed with the lady who then became verbally abusive when I said “thank you”. She then had her cronies follow me and my party to where they recommended which was Annie’s Attic. I actually really like this bar but I’m not coming back because of the issues presented. I and we have been coming here for years, not any more. Contact us to change our mind? Or not, thanks. Rude? Yes she was. Confrontational? Yes she was. Horrid in terms of customer service? Yes she was. Bye.

Not anywhere as good as previous visits. Limited choice of draft beer and the Harvey’s was over £5 a pint and I doubt that I received full pints. Tapas Octopus £9:50 very little octopus but burnt garlic. King prawns £9:25 tough prawns with no flavour Not a pleasant experience.

I visited Gunwharf Keys today , the kiosk in the square. Having waited 20 mins I made my order and really wished I had gone elsewhere. The woman was so rude, all I wanted was a small americano and a flat white. I was told we don’t do small americano only regular. But the takeaway cup for the flat white was small, I’m sure with a bit of common sense the americano could have been adjusted. She had absolutely no customer service skills, barked instructions at me, clearly Caffè Nero only employ rude staff , I had a similar experience in Farnham. When I informed Caffè Nero, I did receive an automated reply and have had no contact since.

We had a table booked and we were pleasantly surprised how nice it was to be greeted enthusiastically and made to feel welcome! The decor is interesting and very pleasant. The menu has lots of choices and when it arrived the food came out nice and hot, and was really well presented. Drink refills were offered in a timely manner and the waitress made sure we had all we needed. Our party consistsed of ages ranging from pensioner down to 12 years old and everyone had a fabulous time. Checkout the outside furnished areas and the wonderful riverside if you do visit. I would recommend your trying it for yourselves.

It's hard to write a review when you didn't get served, but here goes. We go here now and then for coffee and a Danish pastry, it can be busy but this time we found most of the tables were empty, so sat down and then I went to order. In spite of so many empty tables and plenty of staff, when I tried to order I was ignored for a good minute or so by the teenagers behind the counter. One then decided to speak to me and said "we're not taking orders as we're too busy, come back in 20 to 30 minutes". They said the same to the people behind me, so now I know why it was half empty. At least I was spared the pain of the pastries that cost over ÂŁ4. It's a pleasant place to sit and watch the world go by, but never again. I don't like being told my custom isn't wanted because they can't be bothered to get themselves organised. I can see this coffee shop going the same way as the others that folded recently.

We recently enjoyed a fantastic family roast at the railway and I have got to say it was superb. The roast was delicious, I had the beef and would highly recommend. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to our next visit 🥳 thank you Railway
