Brilliant little sandwich shop, have been loads, HOWEVER, I hope you review your reviews! Spreading out a chicken filling that costs £6 on a baguette using a knife like the meat is butter is ridiculous. If I pay £6 for sandwich filling I expect a scoop? And not a flat layer of it. Taste is excellent, but Taylor’s, you would have a much better return of customers if you gave their moneys worth!!

The home of the finest bacon sarnie I’ve ever had…just down the road from the statue of Arthur over the bridge. Great value, took the other half back there a few weeks later and the bacon, chicken and avocado was stuffed full and delicious!

Well ordered two bar meals one was straightforward one was chicken fillet burger no hot sauce no blue cheese dressing when the meals arrived wot was on the chicken burger yesterday hot sauce it went back my husband's was cold so that went back two seconds meals yesterday my chicken burger had no hot sauce but was dripping in blue cheese so again went back my husband ate his meal while I waited for mine to come out a third time when it came out my husband had finished his so I ate on my own one waitress was useless but the other was great as was the bar man he gave us two free drinks and cancelled our bill ... Rightly so. We went to our room at 20:30 as our evening had been so stressful and by this time had had a gutsfull. We noted other patrons were sending their food back too. We won't be dining in the bar ever again it was a shambles

We had lunch here after a visit to Hythe and we weren't disappointed. Firstly, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Secondly, we ordered from the Thai menu which was delicious, freshly cooked and large portions. Unfortunately we are only visitors from a Norfolk but fortunately for us we are going again tomorrow for more

My daughter can't have dairy or soya, I saw they had 3 vegan flavours on display so then checked with a staff member about ingredients and she was very helpful. The ice cream was really nice and it was good to have a few choices. We'll definitely go there again.

I local to this pub and the landlady was rude often and unwelcoming. It was quite a clicky environment and you would try to make pleasantrys and jnteract and she would often coldly ignore or begrudgingly respond to you. it's a lovely little pub in a beautiful area it's a shame its run by such unwelcoming and low customer services as it has such potential with its location. As we all know a pub is only as good as its owners and customer services and welcoming others especially locals is key. A few locals have stopped drinking In this pub for this reason. Okay if you just encounter the staff who are nice but not If you encounter the frosty landlady

We visited as a large family with a toddler when the football was on. Sat in the sheltered “Glastonbury” area and the staff were very obliging at bringing out our food to us in the pouring rain with a smile. All meals were generous and offered good value - but the Sirloin steak, medium rare, was exceptional - best I’ve had anywhere for a long time. The footie was on which satisfied half our party, but others seemed to be avoiding it happily in doors. A thoroughly enjoyable visit. Thanks

Don't bother visiting. Only Gluten free option was Cauliflower Soup or a prepacked Brownie. I would recommend taking your own food and drinks and eating them at the numerous picnic tables or bringing a blanket to sit on the grass. The car park is close by so you can easily go out to get your food and then return again rather than carry it around all day

Ordered 2 milkshakes, one strawberry, one mini eggs. Very disappointed! Loads of ice and skimmed milk were used in it, making it taste weak and watery. The strawberry one was favoured with Crusha, and the mini egg one didn’t use Cadbury mini eggs, which is what I was expecting.

Lovely meal, really interesting ideas in a small but perfectly formed menu - 3 pasta dishes, 3 mains. The antipasti were large enough to share and the house wine was good. Excellent dessert. Wine a tad slow to arrive but the service was very friendly.

I really don’t know where to begin, I live locally and was very proud to show off this amazing place to my Irish cousin who is a champion vegetable grower in Ireland! So the barns are beautiful the tea garden is beautiful the walks brilliant! But what a shock in the cafe when we ordered a Spanish ‘ cold ‘soup ?! By mistake! The staff explained it was a soup but failed to tell us it was cold ! So no sorry that is not what you expect in a rural setting! So we asked for a plate of chips and out came crispy potatoes with a awfull green sauce very herby , and the tomato sauce in a bottle that came from Italy!!! .we spoke to the manager and told her that we were very disappointed with the menu!! Why do they have to have Spanish soup in our lovely country setting? And one more thing they asked about allergies and we said yes. Gluten free but you told us you didn’t have any??? What!! Sorry but we will not be eating there again! Very disappointed indeed! Anthea Fielder
