Costa Café is a gem! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the friendly staff, especially the one with the amazing tattoos, Nina--they were so warm and attentive. The atmosphere felt relaxed and inviting, with locals chatting and even offering great suggestions on places to visit and things to do in the area. The coffee was perfectly brewed, and the treats were delicious, making it the ideal spot to relax and recharge. Highly recommend stopping by for a cozy, welcoming vibe and top-notch coffee!

A Costa in a very old pub. Food & drink are at the usual standards, but they've somehow managed to make the place feel stark and sterile, instead of cosy.

Sometimes they’re just randomly shut for no reason, what’s in stock on the app is never right and I must now have spent about £50 on the app, where having turned up, the item I’ve ordered is out of stock or the branch is just randomly not open in the middle of the day!

Better than most costas, nice interior, polite and friendly service, a lot of seating, room at the back with no one in! Normal costa food.

Went in for coffee, looked at the chiller for food, not really a lot to offer, as was mostly empty. The latte that I ordered was luke warm and had to clear my table to sit down.

Visited yesterday, the staff were so friendly, our order was taken by Anita, very efficiently, and we were made to feel most welcome. We enjoyed the visit so much, we went back today.

I went into Costa yesterday to be greeted by a new manager in a tracksuit and flip flops with the WORST customer service. He left a new member of staff alone who didn’t know how to make drinks because he has his friends in with him that day and they was sitting in the back room and garden loitering. My drink was lukewarm and the cream on top was clearly a few days old due to the oil it left on top of my drink. The shop it’s self was an absolute eyesore. There was mess everywhere, cobwebs, flies and the smell.. it smelt like damp dog throughout the shop. The last manager, the girl with the red hair was amazing and had a great team behind her, it’s sad to say I haven’t seen them in months. Very disappointed to see it go to this now. Will not be going back again.

Very enjoyable experience with consistant coffee products & service. We sat in the open part at the back in lovely sunshine which needs a little attention.

Probably the worst Costa experience ever. Obviously a converted pub in the centre of Edenbridge. The layout isn't great but that isn't enhanced by filthy chairs and tables either. The food is fine but quite frankly a sandwich that has been packaged up elsewhere is hardly likely to be anything other than fine! Service was atrocious. Incredibly slow. Communication between the two staff members was non existent or they couldn't make themselves understood to each other. For some reason one of them left to go out the back so we just stared at the till whilst waiting for our coffee (which we had ordered). Talking to your mate whilst not bothering to serve customers also isn't great and neither is snapping at one another. When we got our coffee and took it to the table and blew the froth off it...we were left wondering if the machine actually had ANY coffee in it. It was milk...water...and not much else. In any other place we would have taken the coffee back but honestly what was the point. Service was so painfully slow and disorganised and everything looked grubby that we didn't bother drinking it and left. Why somebody from Head Office has not gone in to this establishment and sorted it out I do not know.

I've been here several times and it's always warm and friendly and the coffee is good. I visited again with my daughter early one Saturday morning. They were relatively busy, the staff were welcoming, efficient and the coffee and muffin were a nice start to the day. I'd definitely go again.

I came today with my girlfriend, for a nice breakfast and a girl with red hair serving us at costa lent over the counter and saw her kissing a man it was absolutely disgraceful. If I was the manager of this store she should be gone instantly. I ordered the British breakfast bloomer and was served cold.

Everyone thought this would get better but how can you open a renowned coffee shop and not staff it according to customer footfall?

A brilliant coffee shop that do the best ham and cheese toasties I have eaten. What I love about them is how thin the ham is. After other experiences at other places I have to say the tea is very good as well.

Coffee was okay (not very hot) when we finally got it, only 2 staff available on a Saturday so there was quite a wait. 4 people walked out!

Clearly an old pub which has been converted and could be quite quaint but as a pub it would have had multiple toilets now it has the standard Costa single unit which for getting on for 100 seats is very poor. Bored staff chatting to friends and no plate for my pre packed sandwich!

We came to Costa with family for coffee on my mother-in-law's birthday just after Christmas. Overall, I was unimpressed. It is a lovely old building but inside is cold (most of us remained in coats and it was still chilly) and rather grubby. Service was average and we were slightly put off by the young person behind the counter fiddling with his hair before handling food. The coffee itself was ok but not hot. I would not be keen to return.

Visited with my daughter for a pre- Christmas lunch for the first time in a year. Whilst the coffee and sandwich were up to the usual Costa standards, the place was filthy. Dust covered the surfaces of shelves, bins were overflowing and the tables and chairs needed a good scrub. The staff were pleasant, but run off their feet. Really the place should be closed for a refit and redecoration to restore it to the pleasant cafe it once was.

After discovering the delights of Edenbridge main street we decided to have a morning coffee in Costa. I had to take my latte back, as despite requesting it to be extra hot, it was only tepid. The replacement was very hot, thank you. Quite noisy inside as lot of children during half term week.

I was so exited to see Costa in this pretty building, could imagine how it must be inside. But as much I was happy outside as much I was disappointed inside. Coffee is the regular brand, good high street coffee. Unfortunately the café looks poorly, few tables, chairs and sofas. It does not feel like warm, cute place where you can sit and relax with a cup of coffee. It could be the cutes Costa in Kent. The staff was ok.

Our first visit to Costa was not our last. In fact we would rather go there than have our coffee at home! Great service, great atmosphere and great coffee. The staff are lovely and the building is straight out of the 18th century as it was previously a coaching inn. You can almost imagine the locals sitting around the fire with their jugs of ales while waiting for the ostler to change the horses on the Lewes stagecoach. Brilliant

After visiting Italy, I now know what a good coffee should be. Sadly, no Costa, with its overpriced brown stuff in a cup, comes anywhere near the Italian mark. If you want to follow the herd and drink this, then fine, otherwise look elsewhere.

We enjoyed our Sunday brunch here of 2 Chai Latte's, one made with soya and one with regular milk. Two panini's which tasted quite nice! However, my partner pointed out that the 2 servers weren't really talking and just seemed busy or tired! , rather than there being a 'good vibe' of friendliness... it was quite busy... and so appreciate that their focus had to be the customers. Glad this is open on a Sunday, as think the other local cafe is not.. and always felt that the occasional time i've been out walking, it's nice to have a coffee/tea somewhere on return. I think the pubs now do a coffee as does the newish local large supermarket, but the atmosphere is different in a cafe. However, in a friendly local cafe, you can call out bye, when leaving, and someone notices and responds... but it seems not in a 'chain'... We did enjoy our time, but somehow the soul and character of the Old Pub The White Horse that it used to be is now lacking.. It still seems a little dark from the outside, and with all the old beams, is a little that way still. Plus whilst keeping some of the character, i noticed that a customer with a pushchair, had to unlock the 2nd door to get out, and then relock...

I’ve been going to this cafe on and off for 10 years. I have to say my experience has gone downhill since Covid. My recent visit has been very disappointing . I ordered a Spinach and Mushroom Quiche with salads. First of all, the Quiche was still frozen in the middle. Secondly, I didn’t even have time to argue because my daughter has been stung by a wasp. Totally understood this is normal in warm weather but the Cafe’s reaction has been shocking. I went to the counter to ask for some ice. It took at least 5 mins for the waiter to get it despite I can see a bag of ice lying on the table with 1 waitress standing next to it chatting to another lady. I asked can someone just give me the ice as my daughter is crying in pain. I was told someone has gone to get first aid and they can’t “just give me the ice”. After another 5 mins, the first aid has finally showed up. After asking what happened, his words are: oh…..I’m afraid there is not much I can do. I said can you grab me some ice please? It is at that point we finally got the ice!!! I washed my daughter’s wound with some soapy water after a quick google on what to do. I’m not a fully qualified first aid by no means. The cafe has an outside sitting area and wasp sting would be very common. Pleas train your staff on what to do or get some wasps trap like Polhill did. Very disappointing and I would have to end my visit after 10 years. Service standard has gone down too. Most of them look like they don’t want to work there and have a terrible attitude.

Add coffees before we went around the house and there were plenty of tables both inside and outside. Having visited the house we then went back for some lunch and had a variety of items from the menu. All items were very tasty and well presented. The staff on the counters were fine. They could’ve been a bit more efficient doing hot drinks when there was a big queue, else food and service was really good.

I had a couple of hours to kill while on business in Sevenoaks, and fancied an all day breakfast. I googled and found this little place off the beaten track (didn't want to pay for parking!). Really tasty full English breakfast and a good cup of coffee, and ever so great value at £8.00. Maybe not the greatest venue, but definitely worth it for the food.
