The best restaurants in South East

A lovely pub, with great service from friendly staff. Didn't try the food, but the they have a good range of real ales and beers, plus a few fancy gins for the wife. Win win. Didn't participate in the meat raffle, but it was enjoyed by those that did. Won't be leaving it too long before going again 🍻👍

Great atmosphere, open fire, pool table and two darts boards, large off street parking and huge pub garden to the rear.

A friend recommended this place and I am SO glad they did! Couldn’t fault the food, it was absolutely delicious. Every dish was as good as the last - particularly loved the aubergine pot and cucumber in vinegar garlic. Service was great, staff were so friendly and accommodating. Chilled atmosphere. Loved this place and will definitely be returning.

The menu prices are weird. If something costs £3.60 it's written on the menu as 3.6, if something costs £11.00, it's written as 11. Very strange. They clearly need someone English in there to show them how to write out currency properly. Apart from that the cafe is well laid out, friendly and good service. Sort your menu out, its ridiculous !!

Great little place. Breakfast is great and nicely priced.

Old fashioned pub,busy, dogs, very good ciders, people crammed into it somehow, expect to talk to other people, no wi-fi. It's great.

We recently visited Thai Courtyard and had an absolutely delicious meal in the garden! It's a small restaurant which is family-run with wonderfully authentic food. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Brilliant food and a lovely atmosphere. Whether it’s takeaway, or eat-in. Authentic food made with love and passion; creates a real homely feel. Portions and prices are great, and leave you feeling stuffed! 10/10, my go to place!

Best chippy! Batter is always crispy, curry sauce is flavoursome, chips are always fluffy + cooked well, and they listen to my special requests, like extra salt & vinegar! Really well-priced and friendly staff. Can’t fault 👌

Not usually one to do reviews, but I’ve tried a few in Bicester and this is absolutely by far the best Chinese!!! We’ve been using this takeaway for nearly 20 years now!!

Just had our Xmas staff party at the pub. Superb service great food and very reasonably priced. We will be back.
