A proper local boozer with great staff & friendly locals, karaoke on a Thursday night is a worth a visit..!

I come here regularly on a Saturday lunchtime. The bacon, broe and cranberry hot sandwiches are served all year round and are excellent. I also like the chicken wings. Lots of students, but an older crowd too. There’s always a game on the big screens too. A nice place for a Saturday lunch.

Great vibes, friendly staff, and an excellent selection of drinks. Perfect spot for a casual night out or catching up with friends. Highly recommend

I have been using this Cafe for about four years and I always find the atmosphere warm and friendly and the food is always delicious and good value. Sometimes it’s very busy so the service can be a little slow but as I’m not in any particular hurry (if I’m eating out I make sure I can have plenty of time as I feel it isn’t a good idea to have a limited window just in case of unforeseen circumstances) I would definitely recommend this Cafe and the building itself is absolutely lovely as is Lenham Square.

I went to the White Horse with my wife and a friend for Sunday Lunch. The welcome we received when we arrived was wonderful. The service was excellent and the roast dinners were absolutely delicious and good value for money. The atmosphere was super. We will definitely return. If you are in the area The White Horse is well worth a visit.

We had an excellent lunch off the Christmas menu today, fish cake to start and turkey for 2 of us and pork belly for the other 2. Both excellent and tasty. We never have a bad meal here, the chef always delivers, thank you.

Amazing vegetarian crustless quiche! The sandwiches/ baps looked fantastic too - full of generous helpings of fresh, quality ingredients. Very friendly and efficient staff despite a long queue at lunchtime - I didn’t have to wait long. Think I’ll be a regular.

Hoorah. Apricot danish has returned. Cappuccino remains my favourite.

Open mic night is a great monthly occasion allowing local musicians of all ages to showcase their talents. Great atmosphere

Becky, thanks for a great evening. Ales and Carols is always such a fun start to Christmas. The beer tasting was excellent, as was the buffet and venue. We love coming to The New Inn.

Beautiful ambiance, delicious food. It's very crowded and hard to get a table at certain times but it's worth it.

Came here for a Sunday roast with my family! It was honestly the best roast I’ve had whilst dining out! Staff were super friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble and atmosphere was warm and cosy. I would really recommend!

An enjoyable place for a mad dessert but the fabric on the blue sofa by the window is absolutely filthy. I cannot believe no-one in charge has made an effort to replcae it!

Popped in for meal before going to Guildhall with hubby ..... place was empty except for early evening drinkers ....food was good but oh my .... had a 30min wait 😒 The interior was beautiful... wonderful laid tables.....but have had food just as good in other restaurants/pubs.
