I have been visiting this place since last 5 years but not on regular basis. My last visit was on Saturday. When i had visited this place, I found probably none of them we’re expecting me! I never mind about it as this had happened with me earlier. Their quality used to be excellent on any days but my last visit had changed my perception as beer was not refreshing anymore.

Always had a soft spot for this pub. Love the beer and the people and always great to see the Sunday ska afternoon.

Great place for a quiet afternoon drink, no one bothers you and friendly staff and customers. Really good value and a great selection of drinks. Highly recommended

Helpful friendly staff. Good lay out of the furniture. Normal toilets too small. Juke box. Outside seating. If u are disabled in a wheelchair. U need to use the garden entrance.

Brilliant ska session thanks to dj Lord Gregoy. Friendly bar staff cosy little beer garden, no heaters but walled on 3 sides with lots of seating. Great bar staff, friendly staff.

Great local pub and full of local people, who make you welcome. Not full of youngsters.

Tony was so helpful and accommodating when we held our Dads wake at The Queens Head. It’s a lovely, cosy pub and can’t thank Tony enough

I loved my visit here bar person was very welcoming and efficient . And this bar has a Juke box so while having a good drink we had some good music will go again 😜.

Although quiet on a Monday night we had a nice evening. Nice warm welcome from the barmaid a good chat with other customers.

Small but traditional old pub in the old town with a small courtyard at the rear. Quaint. Popular with locals and worth seeking out. Very welcoming barman and nice atmosphere. Could do with a little more ale choice but a minor detail.

Irritatingly loud music which I can hear from my house.. no consideration for people who live around here what so ever.

Despite the giant sign saying they serve real pub food, they only serve drinks.

Backwards pub in a modern age. Great beer and OK food but dogs not welcome. Fair enough if it was a restaurant but it’s a pub that does food. Was asked to leave after buying a round. Poor form.

Drove here to go out for dinner... but when arrived was told the kitchen wasn't open that evening for some reason... but this was not advertised on any social media and no explanation given. Wasted drive, maybe take down the big sign that says FOOD SERVED if that is not the case

It may be unfair to review this place as I've never been in. However, I have walked past - and it's not a pleasant experience. The pavement outside is cluttered with drunks, dogs, and a mountain of cigarette ends - and the noise of the music inside is deafening.

A nice place to grab a pint, rest your legs, and chat with a friend. I didn't catch the entertainment when I visited, but some forms of entertainment do exist.

It was quite loud and busy on a Friday night. A few loud people at the bar. A dog and a crowd by the fireplace. Blaring music in karaoke section inside. We had 1 drink and left.

Queens Head is an old traditional pub in Aylesbury's old town. Have had Sunday roasts here on many occasions and it is amazing value. No microwaved pre-packed food just good home made cooking, and so much of it! My girlfriend recently had her works Christmas party here and again just rave reviews about the food and service, everyone was so helpful and friendly. Definitely our favourite!

Went to the Queens head on Sunday evening for a pint, its a lovely nicely laid out pub in the old town. However on Sunday evening it was full of a load of local foul mouthed drunken louts, there was overly loud music playing and the girl behind the bar was more interested in messing with her phone than serving customers. There was little choice of any quality beers as they had run out of most offerings, they had little or no wine and no cold mixers, only out of tins or supermarket sold plastic bottles. Dreadful experience, wont be going back there again, such a pity because it has great potential and its a pretty little pub.

Have been to this pub before on a Saturday night when they had some live music, had great atmosphere so planned a return trip. Saw they advertised a Sunday roast so thought it was worth a try. I have been to several local pubs and this is hands down the best in terms of overall value. I have paid twice the price at so called gastro pubs which cannot produce a decent roast dinner. Here the food here is honest, without any pretensions and well cooked. There is a good variety of roasts including a vegetarian option, decent portions of veg, lots of gravy and very tasty. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Karaoke on a Friday night is brilliant! We also visited for lunch on the Saturday and the service was brilliant, food is home cooked not any of that microwave rubbish! Very lovely pub

Just had a lunch for magnificent taste and value for money. Very quiet, more people should come here, it's just tucked away around the corner!
