Had Sunday roasts today, great service and didn't have to wait very long to be served. The food was really tasty, big portions, couldn't finish it all. Had a game of bingo too, whuch was good fun. Highly recommend and will be back for more!

The Honeybee was quite a let down saw two members of staff which one of the bar staff was new he said he didn't know the system, kept calling another member who looked like she was struggling too. And the tables was not clean. Debris was on the floor very disorganised food cold tasteless. Menu's need upgrading.

It’s a good place for locals and workers on their way home. It would not be my first choice but to take the grandkids for a treat it’s fine.

Kiera was great and friendly really welcoming!!! Great TV's for the sports and a pool table!!!! Great place to have a drink or pop in for a meal

Good and safe service, great food

We (Party of 3: Myself, a friend & her 12 year old daughter) were looking for a reasonably priced place to sit down & eat, in the local area after spending a busy day at Aylesbury Comic Con. After weighing up the options, we decided on The Honey Bee. It was fairly busy for a Sunday evening, later on we found out why. We found a nice little nook to sit & looked at the menu, I love the QR code option of ordering & paying. As we were going Dutch, it made things a lot easier to order what we wanted & paying separately. The food & drinks came fairly quickly & then it was announced that there would be a Pub Quiz, that was free to take part (& the reason that it was busy, that night) We are no strangers to pub quizzes but the interactive version that you play using the app made for a really fun evening. There was also interactive Bingo, but unfortunately, we didn't have time to stay for. However we are contemplating coming back again, if the Honey Bee still has Pub Quiz & Bingo nights. Thanks for a great evening!

Had a couple of drinks in here with a couple of mates, Big TVs showing sports, table service and reasonable prices.

The staff behind the bar were rude, incompetent and acted as if they couldn't be bothered to be there. This is unusual for the Honey bee, as we often come here. The toilets were also dirty and smell of urine.The staff need a kick up the backside and some training in customer service- if this was the first time I came here, I would not be back. Please improve the staffs attitude and training, as otherwise you will loose customers in a pub that we need to keep open for Fairford Leys.

Food considerably better than previous visit, still understaffed, one person behind the bar who had the weight of the world on her shoulders, no back up or help offered, hasten to add she was very stressed.

Was a lovely meal however our starter of wings came out freezing cold and not fully cooked. When I pointed this out to staff they were quick to rectify the issue. The food barring the wings was good. All parties were happy with the food. Special mention to Lola for her fantastic service thank you very much.

Awful. Went today (13th Oct) for Sunday lunch. Very slow service and got the order wrong for our family of five. Food was poor quality and virtually no serving staff. No apologies given. Won't be going back.

I was very disappointed, waited over an hour for our food to arrive. When we eventually got to food, it was incredibly dry.

You took too long to bring food and me and my mother were waiting for over an hour and i was really hungry as i just came back from football

Both the bar staff and the waiters were very attentive and alert to us arriving at the bar as well as checking we were happy with our meal or if we needed anything whilst we were eating.

Table for 16 a great evening spent. All made perfect by the service of Zayden. A great asset to the pub.

Very accommodating and everyone was very friendly. Loved the decorations and effort going into Halloween and Christmas. Massive turnaround from the last time I went. The experience was amazing. Our server zayden was the best we ever had and to know that he has only been with them for about 3 weeks is amazing he was so polite and helpful always making sure we were okay and happy with everything and even being so kind to our baby and helping us clean up a mess that was not even his mess. We loved having him serves us that we will be coming back very soon. Please pass on the message to zayden

Brilliant food and staff and very well priced

It's always a great time when I go there. I wish they had more ciders, but that's my only complaint. It's a regular stop for Curly Wurly (the puppy) and me. 🐶🐾🍺

Don't have the guten free burgers dry as old boots

I came on Tuesday 10th September with family as soon as we entered the guy behind the bar alex was very welcoming couldn't do enough for us, when ordering food we asked what would he recommend he said the kebab which was a good recommendation the food was amazing look forward to returning again very soon.

We are becoming quite regular customers. Always good custom and food is always good when we have visited. Also, very child friendly. Staff are welcoming.

We go to the Honeybee once or twice a week, Great team and food and drink always lovely. Quiz nights are the best.

I came here for a hen night, a birthday and family lunch, food very good and staff very friendly and efficient. Looking forward to my next visit.

Noticed after the last few visits returning to the pub the food is amazing also the customer service and really like the atmosphere in the venue now staff are also great at the bar and serving the food ... me and my wife will definitely be returning again really soon 👍👍🍻🍻

Good place to take the kids good pub type grub reasonably priced

We have definitely noticed the change for the better at this venue. Wow the food is amazing definitely compliments to the chef and all the kitchen staff. Service is amazing. Atmosphere is lovely. Staff very accomadating when we booked a section of the pub off for my daughter birthday I will also be re booking for another upcoming birthday. Me and the husband have now made this our local. Hands down 5 stars 🙂👍👍👍

The staff were very friendly, the food was lovely and the price was very reasonable. We both had steak this time, but have had pizzas and burgers previously which were great too.

Visited the venue for a quick drink and use of bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised. The place had a good vibe. The bar staff were attentive and aware. It’s an obvious family bar and that’s great for the community. I could not resist the urge to have desert and so the Jam sponge was generous in size. Yes all standard but was good. Cleanliness could be a lot better and especially bathrooms. Overall a very pleasant visit

Our sever was absolutely lovely and welcoming and helpful and the other members of staff were lovely. It wasn't that busy, just the odd scream of a child.

Came out for a family meal . Great value and also great food for the price. We had a voucher that was put through the door and they also offer a blue light/nhs discount .

Great local pub with phenomenal staff who are attentive and helpful. The weekly events are good fun too. The classic pub food never disappoints, especially the pie! The salad is quite nice as well for a lighter meal.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was, especially for the very reasonable price using the much appreciated 30% voucher. The menu had changed since my last visit and there is a great choice. The service was also excellent, especially by the young man behind the bar who was a credit to the restaurant. I am not sure if there is new management but there definitely seems to have been a real improvement all round.

Visited yesterday for a quick bite to eat and from the get go we felt so welcome! We didn’t have a booking but the bartender Kiera who looked after us made sure we had a high chair and kids menus and made sure everything was perfect when ordering as we have a very fussy child with a dairy allergy! Food was cooked to perfection and the kids desserts were so cheap. We will definitely be back.

This is a large pub on the edge of Fairford Leys in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire with ample free parking in a large carpark. Good selection of what could be described as Chain Pub Food on offer, tables which are in a separate section can be booked online. We found the staff very friendly and attentive. There is a good selection of Lagers and Beers on tap as well as bottled ciders and the normal wines and spirits. Unfortunately and the reason for only 3 stars there were no draught beers available as they were all "conditioning" so we were left to drink Guinness.

Unfortunately the food we wanted to order was unavailable, second time we have been and same experience. Might have helped to be informed as soon as we sat down, rather than waiting for us to choose our order and then tell us it wasnt available. Probably won't choose it again if we can't eat what we want off the menu.

Visited the Honey Bee this afternoon. Natalia and Kiera were very welcoming and recommended some cocktails that we could enjoy in the sun. I really recommend.

My chicken and bacon salad was lovely and fresh and now comes with a lovely light dressing, the service was friendly and efficient I was even able to have dessert as they had a lovely vegan one

Unreal, went to honey bee for a drink with family and the waiter came outside asking if I wanted a drink, I asked for a foster but immediately realised my son didn't wanted a foster but a Stella, so I apologised and ordered a Stella only. The waiter said ok, not a problem but ended up bringing a Stella and a foster. So I said, sorry it's only a Stella, the waiter said ok, took the other beer inside, came outside and said (I'm sorry but because of the miscommunication I still have to charge you for the foster)!!! I said but I will not pay for that and she replied so I have to talk to the manager!!!! Unreal

The new manager and the staff have put a lot of effort into the Honey Bee and it shows. Once again a great pub with good pub food. Staff are lovely.

Great pub very well run with excellent staff

We went on a Monday afternoon so we were expecting it to be dead but the atmosphere still felt lively and comfortable. The food was lovely and the pricing is really good. The service was quick and the staff were friendly.

The England final evening at the Honey Bee was great because they set it up so well. Tables organised, table service and the waiting staff were mindful of the game, took our orders well and served us really well. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing food that is reasonably priced. I have been here a few times and tried many different meals and they have all been so tasty! Great service and friendly staff that are very efficient. Would definitely recommend.

The separate areas are a delight! Enjoying a meal with the ruckus of the bar, or enjoying the ruckus without disturbing the diners! Staff are friendly, approachable and attractive. Oh, and the play area and screens for the children are a god send!

Lovely dog friendly pub with a happy friendly team. It's a local pub with food that also offers quizzes and match day screening etc. It's lovely to have something nearby that is easy and affordable.

Such a lovely local pub. Celebrated my son’s birthday there yesterday. Table was ready upon arrival and had even been decorated with balloons and a birthday banner. Despite having fussy children the food was spot on , came out timely and was really nice Staff were really attentive and nothing was too much trouble despite being really busy We had an amazing time The pub is family friendly and a real asset to the village, food is always good and a great selection of drinks. Had the most amazing family and friend lunch today . Staff were so attentive and welcoming, great table and the food was spot on. They have the largest Yorkshire puddings imhavevever seen. The roasts were huge and excellent value for money, steak cooked to perfection and the beef lasagne and prawn salad were also some of the best we have had. You will not be disappointed - huge thank you to all the staff for a making our get together so memorable

Staff are super friendly, my partner mentioned how the pub had a different feel to it (good different) Our daughter spilt her milk on our food & the manager very kindly replaced the meal free of charge. My daughter absolutely loves the kids zone, this is a must have for families with small children! Hard to find these days.

Had a lovely evening here with my friend, unfortunately the main course wasn't great but they gave me a free dessert which was lovely.

Had food here a few weeks ago. When served the food was cold and roast wasn't very nice. Vegetables were mushy and didn't taste fresh. I didn't eat much of it due to this - I don't think it was worth paying for as we could have cooked a nicer roast at home. It was on a pub quiz night which I thought may have affected it as it may have been the focus over food. My partner said it didn't say about a pub quiz on the website which I think would be worth adding as people may want to come on a different day if they are just eating. Staff seemed nice and as expected. Is a shame as I have had nicer a food and experience here before so not sure what's changed

I went with some friends on a Tuesday night and they were doing a quiz which I found really fun, the servers were really kind and so sweet, they had really nice food and really good desserts. Overall was a wonderful night would highly recommend

Great to see The Honey Bee doing well again. We have visited a few times recently and there is a lovely atmosphere. Even when we haven’t booked it wasn’t a problem to fit us in. Credit goes to the new management and all the staff who are friendly and welcoming.

The food was disgusting, we waited 20 mins to order and then 1hr 4mins to receive it. I have a pic of my roast, all 3 were disgusting. Couldn’t get anywhere near the bar to complain! We went else where for a decent desert. Have sent a complaint to Marstons and will not be back

They have such amazing food! Definitely worth what you pay, amazing portions aswell. Service was absolutely wonderful, some you can have a laugh with. Great kids corner, really recommend it!

They gave me 5 chicken nuggies instead of 6. It says 6 on the menu.

Staff seemed bored and disinterested in helping. Roast was lukewarm and there wasn't much difference between vegetables and mash in consistency. Steak was cold and tough. The cook should find a new career. I'm not saying this to be rude because after going I'm not surprised the company has to send out 30% discount vouchers.

This is our local pub and although there were a few hiccups previously with staff & food they have really turned it around. We love popping in for a couple drinks, staff are always friendly and I love the chicken & bacon salad! We were in last night for the pub quiz and it was busy and really good fun. And the prizes are worth attending for as you don’t even have to pay to enter! Well done guys

We were shown quickly to our table. Ordered at the bar, food came reasonably quickly considering it was busy. Couldn’t fault the meals, steak was cooked how we asked. All in all a much better experience than previously, some 5 or more years ago, so will definitely be returning.

Staff was very accommodating, welcoming and helpful They accepted a last minute booking for 18 people for a baby shower and set an area just for us All in all a very positive experience with amazing food! Can’t wait to go again

Had to go and remind the bar we ordered food and drinks. Food was burned and dry, no way was any of it fresh. Never again.

I take my father in law out every Friday for scampi and chips, has dementia and he always feels welcome and happy. The staff are pleasant and friendly. My father in law thinks of the Honey Bee as his local. He always enjoys the food, the chips are the best as far as he is concerned. Coming here every week gives him something to look forward to and he is comfortable with the environment. There is a good disabled toilet which is important as he has to use a walker. The service is efficient and professional. We used ti try different venues but found that this is where he is happiest therefore I am happy
