Have stayed here before always enjoyed it, Great Hotel, great location, wonderful Staff The only let down is the food It’s well worth a visit

Jayne the manager was absolutely so full of life and joy and greeted me with a lovely smile and a hello. She was very vibrant and happy. The chai spice latte was outstanding and the croissant 🥐 I had so lovely and fresh. Keep up the great work lovely

Food was lovely, came fast, and was very hot. We had the cheese & onion pie with chunky chips and beans. A kids cheese burger with fries, and desserts all the food was delicious and the service was great and the staff were really friendly & helpful. This is our first visit but it won’t be the last.

My son and I had breakfast here and we enjoyed it. It was a nice change to hear the sheep outside, this is a cafe with a farm shop so we had a browse. I'll definitely visit again.

I was just here for a quick overnight stay. Beautiful old property with amazing views of the Lakes. Stayed in room 2. Okay size, clean and comfortable. Staff helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking.

Nice for a casual lunch with friends

I ordered the burger and got food poisoning. Maybe I was just unlucky 🤷🏽‍♀️

The Wro Bar in West Kirby is a lovely spot with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly, attentive service that makes you feel right at home. I didn’t try the food on this visit, but popped in for a drink and was pleasantly surprised by the decent, medium-sized selection of beers — enough variety to satisfy most tastes without being overwhelming. The highlight for me was the outdoor seating area, which is a real gem on a sunny day. It’s a great place to meet friends, relax with a drink, and watch the world go by in a laid-back, stylish setting. All in all, The Wro is a solid choice for drinks in West Kirby, especially if the sun’s out and you’re after a relaxed social vibe with good service. Looking forward to coming back and trying the food next time!

I liked it before it became a sports pub a few years ago and it was quaint and had good food. It has lost its personality and charm. It was full of nice people out for shopping and a nice lunch...in those days.

So impressed with our meal last night , our meals were delicious and well presented. The staff were really friendly, especially to our dog ! Service was quick and the meals really hot . Also a very good price . Thank you

Great place, very large, loads of seats, great choice of beers. Mens toilets are a disgrace. Three traps, two don't have working locks, the one one with a lock had no toilet roll. Been many times always the same. Update May 2025, prices have gone up a lot. Visited several pubs and they were busy, HOS was quieter and we wondered why, 2 pints of Northern Monk Faith at £8.25 a pint, blow me down the beers are now expensive.
