Here are the facts and not opinions: I entered the Greggs to get myself a lunch and asked politely for a sausage roll. As the sausage roll was being wrapped, I kindly asked for some ketchup to go with it. The manager (Wendy) stated that they do not do ketchup or sachets as they worry about food allergies😳 and for context, I must stress that there was no queue at all. I paused for a while as I paid, I then asked her to state that if they had any ketchup at all behind the counter. Her response was they do but it is only for bacon sandwiches. I then stated that other Greggs in the local area have never taken this course of action. Her response was “Well we are not other Greggs!” Senior management needs to get on to this kind of attitude and lack of quality service as it is not a great look for any business, especially when this is the standard coming from a manager. The standard of service is getting so poor in general it must be called out.

I was making a morning treat run for my department and placing a sizeable order so I elected to order on the app for click and serve so as not to hold up the drive thru or indoor queue with 6 drinks and a pastry during a time when people might be trying to get to work. I thought this seemed the most convenient option as the app told me to click the "I'm here" button when I arrive and then the drinks are brought to the car, once you put your hazards on. When I arrived I went to click the "I'm here" button to find it was gone and a "reorder" button was there. A little frustrated, I went into store to find if my order had been lost or something. I spoke, pleasantly, to a woman, who's name I didn't get unfortunately, who seemed quite annoyed with me. I got halfway through saying "morning, I've placed a click and-..." and she pointed to a pile of pre-made rather cold drinks with a croissant. She then told me, in quite a snippy tone, that it had been sat waiting for a while and that she had been going out in the rain every ten minutes to check if I was there or not.... as if this was my fault? I explained that the app told me to do what I had tried to do and she just talked over me and told me that was wrong, as soon as they get the order they make the order unless I specify a time. Well, there was no option to specify a time in the app.... surely that's the point of the "I'm here" button? Anyway she also told me to just do the drive thru next time as it's more convenient and no one has to go out in the rain then. Yes, well, if I wanted to do the drive thru and hold everyone up then I would have picked that option. I picked the option I wanted to pick for the schedule of my morning. I tried to explain myself a couple more times to try and understand what it was i had supposedly missed but she just kept speaking over me in such a rude tone. This is the first time I've attempted to use the app but it was quite straight forward and gave instructions. It's not my fault if the various manners to deliver the service offered haven't been trained out properly. I'm honestly not contemplating returning - and I had been a regular customer as I work locally. Bit of a slap in the face to be spoken to like that, especially after placing such a large order. Also all the drinks were cold so thanks for that. Waste of near £30. I had to, of course, explain why the drinks were cold to my department..... so they're also now not keen on returning.

I moved away from Aberdare 30 years ago. Myself and my family are all from this once beautiful town and have many fond memories of this restaurant. I'm currently back in Aberdare visiting family and went to Servinnis restaurant thi morning. I found it was so depressing and tatty inside. All prices plastered over the walls, the decor was so archaic I couldn't wait to leave. For goodness sake, can't you implement some vibrancy and positive decor change to make it a restaurant that's looks and feels inviting rather than one that looks as though its on its last legs. Times have moved on since the 70's. I feel as though this place is about to be dismantled and rebuilt in St Fagans Welsh Heritage museum. There was one coffee shop in Commercial Street that looked quite vibrant, bright and modern. Please change things and more will come to you.

Disappointed! First time to try here and its advertised outside on the window its a Deli ? First off you aren’t allowed to go in the shop ? You have to order on a hatch on the side of the building ? Very strange situation. The sandwiches are pre made in a fridge ? I wanted a cheese & onion & mayo sandwich but there wasn’t any in the pre made fridge so someone made me a bap but it was awful! In any deli its always the cheese and onion and mayo mix (grated cheese mixed with onion & spring onions) but what i received was a old flaky bap with a cheese square slice sprinkle of onions & cheap mayo absolutely shocking to call the place a deli and receive that ! Only recommendation i can give to someone reading this go to the nice deli in the middle of the town. The only positive thing i can say is the woman who served me was polite. I will definitely never spend money in this place again. For reference i paid £3 for a large bap from Gwali Deli in Llangefni the start of the weak and it was twice the size and double of filling !.

Ordered a meal at this kebab house at 8.13pm Called 1.5 hours later only to be fed lots of lies about delivery driver delivered food to the wrong house Eventually had food delivered more than 2 hours after order was placed They gave me a bottle of orange for my trouble Bit of a joke really if they think that would keep me happy Food looked like it had been thrown into the box in one big rush salad didn't seem very crunchy My only advise to anyone ordering from this place is READ THE BAD REVIEWS FIRST before you order to avoid the pending disappointment Even if the food tasted good which unfortunately it didn't It came way too late to enjoy it Shop owner didn't seem to care as he already had my money I WILL NOT dare order from this place again I may as well just throw my money at a big bag of sweets and waste my money in a delicious way

Ordered Scampi, chips, mushy peas, curry sauce and a side salad. Scampi was ok not the best I’ve had. Mushy peas had been over microwaved they were dryer than a camels ring piece in the Sahara desert, also flattened down to make it look like more was on the plate. Chips were cold from where the food had been standing awaiting the microwave ping. Curry sauce was surprisingly very nice. Side salad had nice chopped fresh tomatoes but the cucumber was so thinly sliced Kate Moss could have hid behind it. Ordered a pint of cider and asked for ice arrived with no ice, melted maybe one of 2 ways. 1. Over microwaved 2. The camel ate it. Atmosphere here today in spoons is grim. More life in a morgue, at least it’s sunny out.

As a boat owner and frequenter of The Mulberry over the past four years I was dismayed by a recent review , so here's my personal opinion. With every New Team of management comes a degree of change that is needed and either accepted or you move on elsewhere. The difference in service in the The Mulberry is plain to see for those who visit it on a regular basis, the management standards have been set high complete with new menu's that will tempt even your breakfast tastebuds. Three months into the role sees a level of openness and honesty from the New Team which is very refreshing, they actually listened to the regulars and visitors alike also taking the time to inform them of the pubs future plans. For those people with a keyboard to berate may I respectfully ask you to try the new breakfast menu for starters , the new lunchtime menu... get there early .. Oh !! and by the way ......the new stout is also a really good pint. Looking forward to the Friday get together with Friends & Family, hopefully some new and old faces

Beware new car park charges. No longer worth nipping in for a drink. I live and work on Anglesey and while I don't go out for a drink in the pub after work often when I did, in recent times it's always been the Anglesey Arms. Unfortunately on a recent trip I was stung for £100 parking fine. Reading their sign unless you're a hotel guest or you're eating they'll charge you £5 for 3 hours or £10 for longer. Being that drinking guinness zero already costs me more than a regular pint and they want to add £10 to my evening I'll find somewhere else going forwards.

We Visited Kings Head Monmouth on a very busy Saturday lunchtime. Very short of staff only one serving at the Bar and taking food orders. The young man Joe was exceptional , extremely busy but really professional. Dealt with a long queue with ease and patience. Sadly through no fault of his our food order didn’t arrive after a long time. On checking he went to sort it to find it had been cooked but forgotten to be delivered. He quickly set about re- ordering some fresh food which came in quick time and was delicious. This young man needs a special mention and is a credit and asset to the business.
