Greggs in Flintshire

Here are the facts and not opinions: I entered the Greggs to get myself a lunch and asked politely for a sausage roll. As the sausage roll was being wrapped, I kindly asked for some ketchup to go with it. The manager (Wendy) stated that they do not do ketchup or sachets as they worry about food allergies😳 and for context, I must stress that there was no queue at all. I paused for a while as I paid, I then asked her to state that if they had any ketchup at all behind the counter. Her response was they do but it is only for bacon sandwiches. I then stated that other Greggs in the local area have never taken this course of action. Her response was “Well we are not other Greggs!” Senior management needs to get on to this kind of attitude and lack of quality service as it is not a great look for any business, especially when this is the standard coming from a manager. The standard of service is getting so poor in general it must be called out.

Always love their bacon rolls in the morning.

Had a simple sausage bap. How awful it was, astonishingly bad. Rubbish product, the bread and sausage. Thrown together, not worth the money, went in the bin, won’t return.

Closed early on 14th Jun..... 1720 ? Why?

Re open after re fit, not sure what they did. Doesn't look any different.

Staff here are very polite, service was spot on. Will definitely visit again if I'm in the area.

Not the best Greggs I've been to. Visited several times, and the breakfast baguette has broken in two twice when I've got it out to eat it, and bacon has been nearly cold. Only had breakfasts here. Service is good but food quality is a lt down.

Hot food was freezing cold, staff didn't speak to us apart from to tell us the price. Charged us sit in prices when we were taking out £17 for 2 freezing cold slices and 2 coffees. Won't ever go here again.

Stop at greggs all over the country...no abusive pricing and quick service....when l can l stop...

Lots of cowboy tradesmen who come in threes and order breakfast a slice and a sausage roll holding up the queue! Why no women in the queue?

The food was cold and not much variety I the counter. The staff were not particularly friendly. Probably would not return to this Greggs.

Very hungry, desperate for hot snack as missed breakfast. Called into A540 service stration roundabout 10:00. Sausage Bean and Cheese melt, Notice said, "warning this product may be hot" not even room temperature. Asked for it to be heated up, "sorry not allowed to"! What a joke Greggs are! Never again! Service: 0 Food: 0 Value for Money: 0

I know people knock it cos they're snobs and think only certain people ship here but git to hand it to them for their value for money. £2.75 for a bacon & sausage barm and a cup of coffee. Can't knock them for that at all.

Used this outlet at 10:00am. Upon reaching head of leg of overly long queue, informed that had run out of bacon, so no bacon roll. Sausage on bread roll then. Sausage not even warm just about room temp. Second visit 2 x 'hot' sausage rolls below room temperature. Can't reheat due to their safety policy! Keep them reasonably hot then! or is turning up heat control in counter cabinet against policy too? This must be Greggs way as just exactly the same at Wylfra roundabout branch at Mold. Have only visited on rare occasions for convenience only. I otherwise choose alternatives.

The supervisor Angela doesn’t have very good customer service skills, always miserable and everything seems effort for her. Rest of the staff are very good.

Always good. Even better when there is a Belgian Bun available.

I stopped by here recently whilst on my way to work. There was a very positive attitude observed by all staff members, they were all very welcoming and the warm food was fresh.

Normally a big fan of Greggs, this one included. But sorry if your on a service area you should be open on a Bank Holiday. There are plenty of us working that use you regularly and rely on the service even on Bank Holidays, well we would if you were open!!

For some reason my review got taken down so I will submit again I will never return to this Gregg's as some of the staff are more interested in having a chat than doing there job when I asked 3 times for tomato sauce on my sandwich and I get home and it's brown sauce because they had been talking all the way though the preparation of my sandwich it's not hard you just have to listen So I call them and all they said whilst laughing is what do you want me to do about it

Staff are unhelpful and grumpy but once you get past there crusty exterior the sandwiches make up for it.

The past two times I have been to greggs I have asked for tomato sauce and both times have ignored it and give me brown sauce even on the second time when I told the girl twice but to be fair she was having a chat with all of the other staff and I wouldn't want her missing out so she probably didn't here me To make things worse I rang up and the women on the phone laughed and said what do you want me to do about it (maybe do your job properly ) I go about four times a week for the same order sausage and bacon baguette and a coffee and it's happen twice now it's a joke it's so simple but all the staff Think it's not a place of work it's just a mess around and time to have a catch up I won't be going to this greggs anymore

As I stated I was peckish so decided to visit Gregg's in Deeside for my usual Steak Bake and a Mocha. However as I have the Gregg's app on my IPhone I had enough points for a free cup of coffee so I only had to pay £1.50 for my steak slice Service was a little slower than usual as one of their staff was being trained After my purchase I was able to use the seating area which is used for Gregg's Subway and Burger King which is inside the Spa shop at the service centre in Deeside just off Second Avenue I always enjoy my purchase and this was no exception it's enough for me to eat without feeling hungry until dinner time

Visited this cafe on 2nd February 2017 as was feeling hungry and needed a snack I bought their meal deal for £2.25 a steak and cheese pastry roll (similar to a sausage roll but tastier) and a spicy chicken soup Service with a smile a sat and ate my purchases in the dining area before leaving
