Couldn't fault it for food or service

Nice pub friendly staff but food was cold needs to be better.maybe warm plates needed.also small portions but that's expected in the current climate.

Dont really leave reviews but felt compelled to after tonight service, i eat alone alot usually get funny looks but tonight i had a nice warm welcoming an A1 quailty serivice off the younger lad serving table 19, nice friendly smile, not to much chat but enough to feel i was getting looked after, would go again would recommend that lad deserve a raise or promotion, thank you 😊

Weatherspoons is one of my favourite places to go 2 eat n spend time with family n friends n partners. Staff r very friendly polite n helpful n they help me if I need something explaining as I have a learning disabilities. The food is great value 4 money n quite alot of the meals u get drinks with which is good value.

The place was very clean food good shame about the outside it looks run down. You can park outside for half an hour. It was very quiet but it was very early don't know what it's like later in the day

Another great Spoons in an old Woolies deservedly in the Good Beer Guide. The usual quick, friendly service. Where better to have a Winter Ale with your Eggs Benedict on a Sunday morning? Added bonus - there’s a handful of parking spaces at the back of the pub however, as is the norm, the loos are upstairs.

Ordered the boneless chicken basket ,was okay. Did not get many chips and left still hungry. Curry sauce could tell was left for a bit as it had a hard skin on top. Will come back again as it's cheap and cheerful, but could be bit better.

Stopped here in holywell for lunch. Really fancied a Sunday lunch but not doing that I had the nearest on offer and it was delicious. Fabulous meal. Definitely one to remember.

These lounges are great places to relax in and enjoy a drink or a meal. Lovely surroundings and tasty food. Not cheap but well worth it. The Ormo is beautiful and we try to call in when in Llandudno.

Average eats if you're on the go and want something quick. Chip shortage on plates.

Wetherspoons seem to have got the formula right. Interesting buildings with comfortable seating and plenty of space. Beers at very attractive prices. Fast and friendly service. Although I didn't eat here this time I have eaten at other Wetherspoons. Always plenty of good wholesome food served quickly and at reasonable prices.

Disappointed was there about 5 minutes at the bar before a lad came over leaving his clearing up duties.. Had 2 bacon 2 sausage 2eggs Beans and chips and a coffee very nice.. My table needed clearing and table at side of me when I left after my meal they still wasn't cleared 🙃

It's a weather spoons so the only thing going for it is it's cheap. Sadly also the only pub in town I could find in the area that had cask ale , all be it a very bad range of dark and porters or bad national brands . I wont be visiting Holywell again for a drink

For a spoons this wasn't what I would expect, very clean and well presented. As always a good selection of drinks at a price you would expect. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and service was fast. Very pleasant place. Recommended if your in the area.

Had lunch there yesterday, lovely service except one member of staff. Ordered a drink and she slammed it on the table like I had inconvenienced her by making her work.

Came here for tea with a friend. Food came fairly quick,and was nice and well presented. App on my phone said some items were unavailable but app on friend's phone said otherwise so was confusing as to what they actually had . Think I will order at the till whenever I come again.

Loved this weather-spoons. The lady who served us was so friendly and helpful. We ordered food dad had fish and chips auntie had Jp and tuna. I had a pizza. The food was ordered and came promptly and it was hot and delicious. I really hope to visit here again best weather spoons been in and I’ve visited a few

It's conveniently located along the shopping area and has a lively atmosphere with beautiful decor. Very community oriented place and popular amongst the locals. Staff is welcoming and friendly...tables are cleaned and cleared consistently 👏 Food is well presented and freshly prepared 😋 👌 Great value meals and drinks on promotion

Nice little place, was fairly busy on the visit so the tables weren't really getting wiped down properly and the floor was covered in crayons and food but the food and drinks were cheap and tasty so made up for it

Staff are so polite and helpful. Always check you're happy with your meal and ask if ypu need anything. Sime great staff in Holywell. You'd think they had shares in the place, so keen they are for you to enjoy the your meal experience. Owen was fab Friday but they are all great.

Cheap and cheerful. £46 for 3 adults, plus addons (scampi added to steak for example) 2 kids meals, and drinks. Staff very friendly and the food is good. Very quick service when we went (Monday evening).

We sat outside on a table on the pavement with our dog. My husband went in for the drinks. A member of staff came out and told me dogs not allowed. I questioned this as it is a public place but he said it was management policy and that we could drink our drinks but would then have to leave. I can understand dogs not allowed inside but a public pavement NO. We will never frequent a Wetherspoons again. Perhaps Mr Martin can review his policies

lovely staff come here a lot over the weekends with my kids but today i went here for breakfast. Bacon looks like Ursula. its purple and i’m not happy.. won’t be coming here again for breakfast also my dinner in microwaved all the time it’s not hard to make a decent meal without putting it in the microwave.

This place has the worst food I have ever eaten at the food was cold, there was blood dripping of my pork, the waitress dropped half of my chips on the floor while putting the plate on the table and then stood on the chips and wouldn’t give me a refund even tho I didn’t eat it DO NOT RECOMMEND never coming back to this place.-e.g

Hey if you are going to wetherspoons holywell today, you will need to take your own brown sauce, this is not the first time it has happened to me. 🙄😕😒Foods great and only one window broke. 😏😂🤪The breakfasts are smaller than ever. 🧐No hash brown's today 20th September. Bent Xmass tree go have a look at it. 😂Head office won't pay for a new one.

Possibly the most comfortable and dare I say (classiest) in the area - Mold/Shotton & Wrexham need customer service reboots and focused management to ensure !! Number of pints sent back this last month - too many - and let's get some Spicy Ginger back in stock please. Foot fall appears to low and there may well be a reason!

Food and drink as expected; lots, good, cheap. But there's a grey haired steward who somehow adds a bit of style; very classy, almost like a Monet painting of a bar; great to see

One of the worst wetherpoon's outlets in North Wales. Always dirty tables & run on a skeleton crew. Staff are always rude and unhappy. Atmosphere is dark, depressing and certainly not one for a family meal. (Edit 6/10/22) Been a long time since I visited, so tried a couple of beers. Cask ale at £1.99 a pint. Great price, not so great beer. First one was Salcombe Brewery Pale Ale, terrible soured flavour, probably the end of the cask. Staff are not trained properly how to 'pull' a pint. Second beer firm favourite 'Dark Sid EOF the moose' by Purple Moose. Usually a very enjoyable pint and was expecting it to be great considering the cask had just been pulled through the line as I was supping my first. Served up a glass of swamp water complete with a layer of sediment. Obviously not left to settle in the cellar long enough. A lesson well learnt.... Stay away!

Nice enough,good service,clean tiolets but didn't like seeing staff throwing the food in the trough around people eating. 1st time ever I have seen that in the many ws pubs we gave been to. Other pubs take the plates away & empty plates not in people's view. Just pushing the trough on wheels all over the pub scaping left overs around people eating is a no no for me.

Food was inexpensive but lovely. Service was excellent too!

Me the wife and the dogs long trip to get to are location.. Stopped off at the Wetherspoons to feed and give water to the dogs and have a drink ourselves To be told no dogs... It's a shame really because the whole area is so dog friendly.. So just 2⭐️

13 off is popped in on a Friday lunch time, great vibe from the staff, food came out super quick, order was spot on, level of team work from the staff was amazing, should be proud.

We went as a family of 4. Steak day ( Tuesday ). 3 had steaks and one had fish and chips. £7.99 for a sirloin and a pint. We all ate for £36. Brilliant meal. Steaks perfect. Staff friendly and helpful. Service and meal perfect. My mum is a convert to Wetherspoons.

went for a breakfast food was not to bad but waited at bar to order for about 8 minutes while 4 men (staff) stood behind bar talking and 1 took orders then went for a coffee one machine out of order and the one that did work had no milk

A very friendly place to eat and drink, staff for first class and the best thing about JD Wetherspoons is table service very fast cannot knock the service you get on the JD Wetherspoons and market cross still head and shoulders above the rest

We were travelling home from a weekend in Towyn with our niece and the dog, and specifically visited this Wetherspoons as they had outdoor seating so we could eat with the dog outside. A lovely lady served us our drinks and did not mention any issues with the dog, she even stroked the dog on her way out. When we were given our food we were told that there were no dogs allowed, despite us being outside, and he would ‘allow’ us to stay as we’d ordered food and no one had said anything when we arrived. After our meal, we ordered another drink before we left. Two servers came out to us. The man with the bald head and glasses stated that he could not serve us the drink ‘because of the dog’. He told the other server to put our drink in a takeaway cup, essentially telling us to leave. Firstly, he did not even ask if the dog was a working dog, which she actually is. She is a working dog for anxiety. I am aware that dogs are not allowed as company policy but even on the sign outside it said ‘assistant dogs only’. This made us feel extremely uncomfortable and very unwelcome. Very disappointed in our experience
