Beachcomber Inn in Flintshire

Drinks were cheap good atmosphere rude pub manager, can’t remember her name but she was blonde and Mancunian accent told me if I didn’t like the way she runs her pub to leave

Blonde female bar woman was so rude asked to speak to the pubs manager about her and she said she was the manager, if this is what management are like there would avoid at all costs

Good beer, typical local pub, barman's a bit of a grump and the beer isn't cheap so only 4 stars

Stopped by during a cycle ride. Average priced drinks and friendly bar staff. As it was a weekday it was very quiet, which suits us. Will most likely return.

We were staying at the haven site up the road from this bar this weekend, arrived Friday the 20th and returned home Monday 23rd October 2023. Drove past in and out of the site so after being subjected to the typical haven entertainment we decided to try there on our last night. My only regret is that we didn't go sooner. Friendly staff staff and locals, prices very reasonable. It was quiet when we went in. But the lady doing the kids entertainment was fantastic. Nothing was to much trouble for any one working last night. Thank you all for a great night, even after me being wrapped in toilet roll, but I have my medal 🏅

Fantastic little pub for food and entertainment, this little pub goes above and beyond to make outside drinking area look fabulous with it's lights and hanging baskets,

Called in early evenings , early October as we were stopping at local caravan park for drinks,prices good,friendly staff,bit quiet but nice and comfortable bar and concert lounge,no food available ,probably more busy at weekends

My husband and I ate here 04/09/23 as we are staying at the local Haven site. The food was nice and the prices are very reasonable. You get huge portions. The staff were friendly, the venu and bathrooms were clean and tidy. Would recommend and would eat here again.

Lovley freindly staff food amazing and reasonable price service a few minutes late only because so busy and staff so apologetics gave children fee ice cream and chocolate would highly recommend x

Just popped in for drinks one afternoon, man behind bar really friendly, drinks resonably priced. We asked about food which we were told they do but didnt eat this time.

Nice Family Orientated Pub, with a soft play area for toddlers and small children to keep them entertained. Also have acts within the evening to keep the patrons entertained. Also a great fish and chips shop next door for food.

Was a lovely atmosphere. Met a lovely lady who works there. She was so kind to our autistic 8 year old son Thomas. A friendly welcoming place x Thank you

Spent a few hours here on a Saturday afternoon/evening. Proper pub Excellent seating outside,which is ideal when the sun is shining Reasonably priced drinks Good atmosphere

Stayed at presthaven sand s but called here in afternoon for a few beers . We had food here today 3 adults 1 child . Price was great and food was great and portions massive .

Full of kids ,ours are grown up . noisy,but you can go next door or the club that's much better .just not to our liking.

Had a lovely day at this pub, carmel the bar lady was extremely friendly and accomodating, very welcomingpremises were really clean, bar prices fair an good atmosphere.

Warm welcome, friendly staff. Plenty of seating and large outdoor space, with views across fields and hills. Lovely spot for a drink and view. Bar prices are reasonable. Neighbours several holiday sites, seasonal amusements and shop (both open 3rd March 2023). Very close to local shop for everyday items. Local free car parking 50 yards away.

Cracking pint of Bootlegger, really clean toilets, and right tidy bar areas,will definitely go there again. And got to meet Bootlegger himself. 👍👍

Pub for locals and holiday makers. Plenty of seating, inside and out. Has a grill on certain nights. Welsh language radio playing which is always a nice touch. 🍻 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

The Beachcomber is a great place to go when in lower gronant North Wales great friendly atmosphere and staff can't do enough for you 👏 Great place.

Came here whilst staying at the caravan site up the road and we drove past this pub a couple times. The pub itself is very well kept and the toilets\baby changing facilities are spotless and have been recently renovated, the general drinking area is neat and clean but the atmosphere is very stale and not welcoming if you're an "out of towner" the bar staff were very moody, rude and socially cold! So I probably wouldn't come again due to me and my family not feeling welcome but it might be different if you're a local.

Lovely place, feels homely and staff always welcoming, it's clean, plenty of seating and areas, nice little soft play for kids and there is often an act on, especially summer weekends. Warm in winter with a lovely log burner.

Bog standard, if you ha e numb taste buds then the food is OK, hardly anything on the menu not vegetarian friendly, I am a meat eater but we have to order from papa Jon's for two of the children.

We always have a lovely drink and relax here

Does not adhere to advertised opening and closing times, unless you are friends of the bar staff or local, then the preferential treatment is blatant.

What a lovely Inn very welcoming and cosy, everything in place to support people and staff, lots of room, large screens, very clean bathrooms. The lady working was really nice couldn't do enough for you. Well worth popping in.

We are currently staying at presthaven and have been searching for a place to watch the England game. Came into the beachcomber and they were fully booked as all the other places were. Ryan who works here went out of his way to find us a table to sit at and has looked after us since we’ve been here. Fully recommend.

Nice Inn , can be busy at times with the Holiday Parks close by. Staff are very pleasant, They do food but kitchen closes at 8pm , Also not had food as had already eaten. But all in all a nice place to visit.

Went there on Tuesday 22/6/21 after booking a table for 2. when we got there we were shown to the table which looked like it hadn't been cleaned for years. We were left sitting for ages before anyone took an order for drinks. had to go and find menus and sat being ignored by the staff even though they had seen us trying to attract their attention. Tried ordering another drink but got fed up after more than a 45 minute wait, we just left. will NEVER go back. only gave it one star because i can't do less.
