I moved away from Aberdare 30 years ago. Myself and my family are all from this once beautiful town and have many fond memories of this restaurant. I'm currently back in Aberdare visiting family and went to Servinnis restaurant thi morning. I found it was so depressing and tatty inside. All prices plastered over the walls, the decor was so archaic I couldn't wait to leave. For goodness sake, can't you implement some vibrancy and positive decor change to make it a restaurant that's looks and feels inviting rather than one that looks as though its on its last legs. Times have moved on since the 70's. I feel as though this place is about to be dismantled and rebuilt in St Fagans Welsh Heritage museum. There was one coffee shop in Commercial Street that looked quite vibrant, bright and modern. Please change things and more will come to you.

I’m a regular Saturday morning online customer. I just wanted to write to say that this is my weekly treat and the best breakfast. I always order the All Day Breakfast with fried bread, beans and an extra sausage (the dog gets a treat). It’s always beautifully cooked and warm when delivered. Lovely fresh ingredients. Never fails. Thank you

Frozen fish, frozen chips & was that butter on the bread, i don't think so. The best part of my fish & chips was the tartare sauce i put on it. The salad was poor because it was not neatly presented, just stuck on the plate. Whilst staff were careful about handing over cutlery due to covid they were happy to give me a partially used jar of tartare sauce? The spoon was dirty/scratched, the waiter told us they'd had an issue with the dish washer that scratched the spoons, so why weren't they replaced? Faggots too were poor. There's a market not 100yds away so why not use their fresh produce? That was £17 wasted. We won't be returning i'm sure.

Cannot believe this “salad” comes with a £7.25 price tag. Half a thin extremely dry chicken and a baby portion of salad. Definitely will not be getting a salad here ever again for sure. Informed staff of the scabby portion and they were not at all concerned either.

Very dated decor, the management/ owner is rude. Food is poor quality and poor value for money. Overpriced tasteless food!

Very friendly staff, delicious food and drinks. I would recommend this cafe. The food is fresh and there's a wide selection of meals to choose from.

Small cafe, quite dated, but lots of options for food. Have had the breakfast twice here and it was freshly made and delicious. Nothing particularly special, but definitely enjoyed it.

We called here 16 Sept 18 and had a so called special Steak Pie,Chips and gravy. The meal was very poor nearly cold badly presented look as though it had been dumped on the plate. There was no taste at all to the meal and I left 90% of it on the plate. This cafe used to be the best place in town for a decent meal but it is no longer in that bracket. The place was empty when we called at about noon and we now know why! Don't bother the place is no longer a decent restaurant meal wise.Staff were okay but you could see the place had gone to shabby and very old and dated.Look elsewhere many other decent places in the vicinity.Very Disappointed

Visiting family in Wales and was looking forward to our lunch as had several previous pleasant stays at hotel. Flavoursome Sunday lunch was totally spoilt by lukewarm (this is being charitable) vegetables and further exacerbated by meat being served on cold plates. When asked by waitress if we enjoyed our meal on paying, we commented on cool food and her response was that it had been mentioned before by customers. Service was also very slow despite few diners present.

This kebab shop offers delicious pizza, lamb donner kebab, chips, and cheese, and fresh chicken burgers. The customer experience is marvelous, with complimentary chicken wings to try their unique recipe adding to the delight. Highly recommended!
