normally rave about Leo's. but fish and chips were so poor this time around. chips were hard, not the normal quality. fish was over cooked.

My fish was small which I thought was the mini portion that we also ordered. But no, it was my portion. The mini portion was literally the size of a fish finger!! Disgusting that they can charge so much for that!! Won’t be ordering again

This is the only fish and chip shop we eat at. We had this a few days ago its normally lovely it was only o.k. We thought we would give it another go. I had chicken and chips not cooked enough it was slimy. Also had fish and chips the fish was overcooked it was hard to cut. Very disappointed as our favourite chip shop.

Would have loved to give a star rating. However, even though the App said out for delivery, even though the map showed the delivery was getting closer and closer. It never managed to arrive. We all had to have cheese sandwiches instead. Not the experience we were hoping for.

The food wasn't hot, and did not heat up well. It was quite dried up. This chip shop if expensive in comparison to many others. But I don't mind paying more as its usually good. Not this time though. I ate it because I was hungry but didn't enjoy it that much. think it was more the fault of the delivery than the fishshop.

I was a loyal user of Leo’s but my order today was terrible fish cakes were hard, burnt tasted like trout or salmon uneatable . Fish was small thin just batter really. Chips, sausage curry peas ok but expensive just for that. Will NOT use again

Just a few issues. Fish should have been cooked a bit more as the batter wasnt crispy as it should have been .... And skimpy on the chips. In saying that.... quality and taste very good.

We always order our fish supper from Leo’s and again we did today but just eat should be ashamed of themselves making us wait this long for our food and in the meantime ruining good business’s! However I will still continue to go to Leo’s as in my opinion it’s the best in Newport but never again will I use just eat!

Give credit when due I had the chicken curry and chips and it was very very good it left me wanting more

Leo’s prices are very expensive but my wife prefers their chips, the fish tonight was so small we have had bigger fish bites from other chip shops. The chips were cold and so small with the fish, it was extremely disappointing we will not be ordering again, gave the driver a tip for cold food ??

Sorry. The Faggots and Peas did not taste nice. The dark tasteless gravy didn’t help. The Cheese and Chips was terrible, and the taste of the Fishcake bread crumbs ruined the fishcake. I won't be ordering from here again. I'm sorry.

Chips were nice however the scampi I had was awful. Tasted like fried breadcrumb Iceland scampi (no batter) and the fish looked pink and was tasteless. Scampi was incredibly expensive for this quality. Wouldn’t order from here again.

Nice food. Steak pie was excellent as was the chips and Chinese sauce. Fish did not live up to that though. Tasted old. Not fresh.

2 faggots in gravy, was supposed to have peas, could not see or taste any peas in there, mostly gravy charged me £6.50 for that, not satisfied at all.

This is the best Fish and Chips I’ve had in a real long time! First time ordering here, I was a little bit apprehensive to start as I stick to the food places i know but I can honestly say this food was absolutely gorgeous! The fish is extremely fresh, the chips were crispy and soft in the inside, the curry sauce was also so nice! I am definitely ordering from here again Thankyou so much!! ♥️♥️

My order arrived in good time however the order was wrong, they had sent 3 fish cake and chips instead of fish and chips one fishcake and chips and one fishcake they owe me a refund but I have been refused one. I have recently moved to the area and have used them before they have lost my custom now because they would not refund the difference they owe me, how many other customers have they done this to???

Fishcake was very dry and the gravy did not taste nice at all. Wouldn't order again.

Literally used to use this place all the time but will think twice now. 8pm on a Thursday night and my expectations aren't that high but the chips were awful and that is an understatement. They had clearly been there for ages. They were dry and hard and pretty much not edible. There are other chip shops in the area and will make sure I go to them in future.

Food was great fresh hot and ready to go I ordered the pie and chips only gripe is not being able to pick which flavour pie you want a mince pie which it was isn’t my preference so being able to pick your own pie would be good

I had the displeasure of going to this chippy yesterday and let me tell you don't go near it. I went into the chippy with £8.00 expecting to come out with change as I only had 2 large chips and a jumbo sausage, you can imagine my face when it came upto 9.35,so had to go to the car for more money. When I came back asked how much the chips were and she told me 3.80 per bag so I told her it was extortionate but obviously she don't make the prices. We'll after the ripoff came the very disgusting bags of chips. The potatoes were old, the chips were put in with the fish as per the taste and they were like rubber after a five minute drive home. Please stay away awful.
