Booked a midweek dinner with friends. The restaurant was really busy but well staffed. We had great service from Holly and Christopher on the bar. We all ate from the à la carte menu, however the £25.00 ‘25 year’ celebration set menu looked really great value. A lovely evening in a lovely setting, the ambiance was great.

Went for lunch with family to celebrate a birthday. Chicken Tikka was one of the meals chosen . Half way through the meal two pieces of black plastic were found in the meal . So only half the meal was eaten . Went to the bar to point out the problem and the lady behind the bar was really apologetic and a refund of the meal was issued. Bit disappointing really 😕

We called in for Sunday lunch today, after booking the night before. Nothing was too much trouble, we were given a lovely table by the fire. Kath and Ethan were welcoming and very accommodating. The choice was between Beef or Pork for the meats and we all opted for Pork, which was cooked to perfection. We all received an individual portion of veg which is a lovely touch as you don’t have to share!! The roast potatoes here are infamous and are absolutely incredible! How they make them so crispy I don’t know but they’re outstanding! Too full for pudding unfortunately but will have to come back and have one once this winter weight is shifted!

Please don't use this place.. They handle allergies so flippant we were told to sit outside on unclean tables when we informed them of a dog allergy. There were empty tables inside but showed no interest in trying to cater for our needs. It's only a matter of time before they cause a medical emergency with this attitude.

Been here before and for a garden centre cafe its pretty good. Theres usually a long line at peak times, but staff cope well, seating, taking orders and bringing out food. Prices probably a tad higher than they should be, but food is fine and service efficient. The specials board is worth a look, and the salmon dish on there was surprisingly well cooked, not dry and overdone as it is in other places. The pie was filled with chunks of meat, so good all in all.

We booked a family get together here for my aunt's 90th birthday and what a buffet they laid on !!! The staff could not do enough for you . The food was lovely a mixture of cold and hot including lovely hot cod goujons and tempura prawns! There was a lovely atmosphere and would like to thank Clive and his wonderful staff for a lovely afternoon.

The ''Craft'' in the title is misleading as all you get is the cheapest mass market beers such as John Smiths and a few trendy Euro Lagers. I popped in as it's about the only traditional looking pub left in this part of the city centre which makes the dull and bland interior just like any other city centre chain pub takeover. As with a few of this chains locations it places itself near to a Wetherspoons as if to attract it's customers into a change of scenery or add it to their daily pub crawl.

We are staying in the area and have just had the steak and Guinness pie here at The White Lion Hotel. It is the best steak pie we have found in the area....proper homemade pie, rammed full of tender meat with not a piece of fat or gristle in sight! We are pie eating experts and this has gone to the top of our list! Kudos to the chef 👨🍳 👏 Bloomin' scrummy! Thank you 😊

The staff are always very pleasant and service is good. I recently had the bacon and Brie toastie priced at £9.99. The toastie had Brie inside but the bacon was just bacon bits sprinkled on the top. No salad, crisps or chips on the side. Poor value for money, you can find much better elsewhere in Pembrokeshire so I won’t be returning for food again.

I treated my husband to Sunday lunch today at The Twelve Knights. I have to say we were not disappointed. The Sunday lunch was excellent value for money (he had roast beef and I had spinach tart). The portion sizes are extremely generous. We both agreed that the mashed potato was the best we have eaten in years. We will definitely be back.

Don’t be put off by the smell of cat spray on the way in!!! I was a bit dubious but the food was good. It looked average when it came out, everything in pots, chips, peas, rice (why?) but good portions. It looked deep fried and a bit over cooked but everyone agreed it all tasted good. Very friendly to dogs and a resident dog and at least a couple of cats. I think the land lady / manager could look stern, but I think she was just checking everything was ok and when I chatted to her she warmed up and was friendly. We will be back!
