La ciudad estaba maníaca, increíblemente ocupada, con eso de que se acercaba la Navidad. El pub estaba excepcionalmente lleno y nos las arreglamos para al menos encaramarnos en la barra, ya que todos los muebles habían sido rotos hace mucho tiempo. El pub estaba bien, el personal estaba haciendo todo lo posible y la visita sirve a su propósito. Dos cafés bebidos y nos dirigimos al pandemonio de la tarde...

We didn't have a very good experience the first time we visited, however, that was a while ago and so we decided to give it another try. Food was horrible! I had to send my dish back because it was cold, I approached a member of staff, who was very helpful and got me another meal, but unfortunately it was horrid! 3 meals wasted. Definitely won't be back.

Nice place, usual spoons environment

We popped into The Milnes Bar to use the loo and asked if we could fill up our water bottles. The staff were incredibly accommodating and happy to help, which we really appreciated. It’s always nice to come across a place that’s welcoming, even for a quick stop. Thank you!

Typical Wetherspoons but staff were exceptional.

We prefer the Inverurie one to Elgin or the Inverness ones. Fast service, quieter, consistently lovely food & friendly staff.

Nice casual dining in a beautiful setting overlooking the marina and Loch Lomond. Great for kids and friendly staff.

I was feeling slightly apprehensive about attending my booking once I read some of the reviews, however I’m glad I didn’t give it a miss! Firstly the service was impeccable, my partner and I had our first drinks order taken soon after we were seated and did not wait long at all for them to arrive. We shared the scallops to start which are 10/10, although the portion size was small considering the price, the taste was worth it. My partner also had the chicken wings starter which he enjoyed however I would give the parmesan fries a miss - fries slightly over cooked and they were presented in a way that meant most of the parmesan was at the bottom. Mains also arrived fairly quickly, large portion sizes for the sea bass and calzone which I’d highly recommend. We went at night time and the atmosphere was still good but I can imagine the stunning views of the loch that would be available during the day so I would take this into consideration before visiting. Overall cannot fault our experience one bit, slightly pricey as some of the other reviews state, we paid roughly £107 (minus the service charge) for 2 starters, 2 sides and 2 mains with 2 cocktails however considering the location this wasn’t too steep in my opinion.

Visited the salad bar. It would have been helpful if there was a menu detailing what salads were available and what allergens there were. Asking staff was not successful as they were too busy to help. The salads we chose were good and we enjoyed our lunch experience.

Went for Sunday lunch, it was ok. Plates for the carvery dangerously hot, A HAZARD. Meals were ok. Desserts were nice with a teaspoon of custard. The ice cream was sorbet which if we'd known we wouldn't have bothered with. Would probably go back if in area.
