tionist who checked us in and explained all about the hotel and its restaurant. We booked breakfast for following day. Our room was on the 3rd floor and was deemed double deluxe. Upon entering I found it clean tidy and well done out with tv,large mirror ,cupboard and bed with ensuite bath and shower. it was comfortable enough with extra pillows in said cupboard. All electrics are powered by your door card so you cant really forget or lose it. Only problem was it was a warm night but if you opened the window a lot of traffic noise was unleashed. But dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was excellent(seperate reveiw)

Amazing food! We had an incredibly fresh and tasty chicken tikka curry, alongside a lovely pizza, with great customer service. Highly recommend

When we arrived at the booked time the waiter couldn't find our reservation. The Ceaser Salad was with lettuce, French salad dressing, parmesan and croutons. Had nothing to do with Ceaser Salad. Fish and chips was a large piece of fish dried out on the thin end. Very few French fries and three sauces, of which the chilli sauce and the pea puree sauce were not edible. The tartar sauce was good. The sticky toffee pudding dessert was dry but tasted ok. The waiter was very impatient and not really friendly. It's a shame I would have expected more from a Hilton. And after the meal we were asked to rate our stay. Although the waiter couldn't find our reservation.

I won a prize at a charity afternoon which was lunch for 2 with a bottle of prosecco. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Good food, lovely prosecco, cheerful atmosphere with rugby on in background. Thanks Linen 1906, we will be back! Would 100% recommend.
