Centrellodge Hotel in Glasgow City

Amazing value coffee/pastry from the café inside Waitrose store. Even better, we were served by the loveliest of waitress’(s) Emily and Neve. Great coffee and a lovely way to make shopping less stressful 👍

The worst ever! Ordered chasni with rice chicken dry as a bone and can with chips still frozen in the middle, I used to order regularly from here but avoid the owner didn’t want to acknowledge my complaint just told me not to order again just avoided food poisoning for sure 🤮

I won a prize at a charity afternoon which was lunch for 2 with a bottle of prosecco. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Good food, lovely prosecco, cheerful atmosphere with rugby on in background. Thanks Linen 1906, we will be back! Would 100% recommend.

The chips and battered food tasted weird…I think it was the oil/fat. The pakoras were dry and flavourless. Plus they sent a guy away with a tray of kebab meat and chips with 3 scoops of hot sauce in a polystyrene tray without wrapping it in paper to secure it or keep it warm. Granted it was in a carrier bag, but not enough care I think. I ordered a curry sauce which was in a tub but by the time I got home (which was a short journey with little walking) the curry sauce was all over the bag. I called to grumble about the sauce spilling (we spent over £50) and the guy didn’t seem interested. I won’t return there.
