Vino a The Granary un lunes por la noche para una comida de cumpleaños y se sorprendió, pero no se sorprendió de ver el lugar tan ocupado para la comida y bebida. Se sirvió muy rápido, la comida llegó rápidamente y Rosie se aseguró de que todo estaba bien para nosotros. Una buena selección de opciones de comida disponible, no tenía pudín ya que teníamos pastel de cumpleaños. Gracias de nuevo al personal de The Granary, volveremos : )

Very run down and tired. Hardly any staff. No facilities or food. Description untrue and reviews not recent.

Food of poor quality, expensive and small portion sizes. Burger over done and burned and salad drowned in dressing won’t be returning.

Nice cup of tea and scone served by very lovely staff. We walked fast after our tour to get the table by the window! What beautiful views. The lady serving us told us about sea life and birds we might spot and offered us use of the binoculars. She was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. She offered extra hot water for our tea and chatted with us. Lovely. Would visit again if we were in the area.

Nine of us ate here. Staff were welcoming , friendly and helpful. The menu was varied and extensive. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had haddock. It was large and beautifully fresh. Well worth a visit.

The website advertises all day food which is not the case - kitchen closes between 2 and 5. No matter we had English tapas instead, crisps! Super friendly staff - bet it’s a very cosy spot on a winter’s evening with its wood burning stove. We would make a point of going again. Barman was playing some brilliant music -electric folk - he was very knowledgeable. Sorry I forgot to ask your name but thank you for educating me about Runrig!

El Hotel es una pasada, muy bonito. Unas vistas increíbles y todo lo que le rodea es muy bonito.Cenamos genial y luego tienen el bar que está para tomarte algo y no cierra tan temprano como en casi todos los bares de Escocia

Went there today 25/12/25 for Christmas dinner with family starter came out soup vegetables thick and cold with bit of hard bread main meal meant to be turkey it was 4 pieces of meat straight from a tin never been turkey in its life 2 Rock solid potatoes 1 big parsnip that hard couldn’t even bite into it small bit of stuffing tasteless tiny small amount of gravy out of 9 people not one of us finished it my mother was crying couldn’t believe it the pudding was apple crumble there was 6 big slices of apple no crumble and small amount of custard thick and lumpy we waited 40 minutes for the pudding we couldn’t wait to leave it was the worst experience of our lives for £68 per person I will be looking for a full refund my dad is disabled with a brain and was so upset absolutely shocking so people please stay away

Nuestra segunda vez en McDaniels, nuevos artículos en el menú, todos deliciosos. Grandes actividades para mantener a los niños ocupados. A pesar de que el personal estaba ocupado que era muy amable y atento. Volveremos.

Booked a table online on Easter Monday for lunch. Received a confirmation email and then a reminder about my booking. Imagine our shock then when we turned up to find restaurant closed!!. Phoned contact number and told indeed it was closed. What angered me more was I emailed the hotel twice explaining my situation and once used the contact details on website. Didn't even receive the courtesy of a reply or apology. Had food here before and it was very nice but after that experience I would not return. You shouldn't be able to book a table online if restaurant is closed.

We went here for a wee bit of lunch, it wasn’t my favourite as I hadn’t even sat down and got my jacket off, before the waitress was on us, wanting our order, two or three times she came over and tried but we like to have a look at the menu, so that got me miffed, the young lady came with coke and apple juice then an older lady with our meals, ages later, the first time she came with the wrong order, the second time and it was the dreaded plastic bread and frozen chips, both yuk!! We were hungry though, so ate and left quick as poss, it wasn’t great. Some much better places along the street when looking for something to eat is my suggestion

We have visited the Kilmarnock Arms Hotel regularly for the past 2 years and found the staff to be very helpful and very accommodating. We have slept in several rooms all of which have been clean and tidy and always well presented. We very much enjoy our breakfast in the morning after a relaxing peaceful sleep. I can’t fault the food we are served in the evening always hot and tasty in ample portions I can highly recommend the battered fish or the steak pie both of which are fantastic. Big thanks to Lucy and all her staff for making our regular monthly stays such a pleasure and something to look forward to We will be back. Thank You

Este hotel fue una gran reserva de última hora que mis amigos y yo hicimos recientemente. Nuestra habitación era espaciosa y limpia. El desayuno era precioso y todo el personal que conocimos era amable y servicial. Especialmente Dawn y Jenny (creo) que estuvieron en recepción el domingo 11/8. Ambos eran súper dulces y divertidos. Sin duda volveremos

Maybe I'm jaded after having lived in New York for 4 years, but this business says New York style bagels and they most certainly are not. Very mediocre and overpriced bagel. Their veg cream cheese is very good, but overall I wouldn't return.

This cafe no longer allows dogs, apart from guide dogs. The TripAdvisor page needs to be updated to show this. Disappointing
