Absolutely scrumptious traybakes and hot chocolate (with the works).. our first visit here but certainly won't be our last.. p.s thanks for the recipe 😋

Great cafe! We had lovely homemade soup and the homemade chips were absolutely amazing! We were able to sit outside and watch the world go by on a lovely sunny day in Troon.

The café was fairly quiet when we arrived and there were two tables free, one at the back of the café, and another by the window where the table had to be wiped following the previous customer. We were shown to the table at the back of the café, and we said we would be happy to wait for the front table to be wiped. The extremely rude assistant, responded saying that she would prefer if we went to the table at the back of the café. So we sat down and waited until the table at the front was wiped, (which took about one minute), then we moved. She huffed and grumbled under her breath, and drew an unfortunate stare to my husband. Not exactly excellent customer service, so we left and took our business next door (which was excellent!). so a win for us! so if the manager is reading this, I recommend that you train your staff in dealing with the public, unless you wish to lose more customers.

Busy little cafe but not the most friendly of welcomes from staff. Rather than a pleasant "hello, come in, can I help?" we were greeted by an abrupt "how many is it for?" However coffee and cakes were nice.

A lovely wee tea shop with the most delightful staff - so chatty and pleasant! Great food, really cute decor and china tea cups! We look forward to our next visit!

I have passed here many times and it always loos busy which is a great sign but I have never tried it myself until today and I have been missing out! I must admit to being quite fussy about my flat whites and the one I had today was fantastic - up there with the best and as a treat to go with my coffee I had some rocky road, this was the best I have tasted! it was amazing, so much so we bought another slice to take home for tomorrow! I will definitely be back and wanted to share this gem for anyone else in the area to be able to enjoy.

Went here with three friends for lunch on a wet and wild day in Troon, and really enjoyed it. Great coffee, excellent food and all with good service, and not expensive at all.

What a lovely little cafe situated near the beach. The staff were super friendly and the coffee was delicious. We had some scones which were hands down the best scones I have ever had. We sat outside as the weather was quite pleasant but there is plenty of room inside. We didn't have any main food, but what we saw being served to other people looked nice.

Called in with friends on Easter Saturday and we were made very welcome. Great atmosphere. Ayse, Alicia, Susan and Callum were all so friendly and attentive during our visit. They are great ambassadors for the company. Will be back for sure.

The best flat white coffee ever. I also had a top notch cheese scone. The staff are friendly, efficient and very welcoming. Don't miss this wee Troon treasure!

There is nothing more irritating than a sign that says, "Wait here to be seated" and staff just walk past you when you are standing at that sign looking at the only vacant table. Eventually, you catch the eye of the staff at the counter, point to the vacant table and get a nod of the head that it's ok. Why bother with the sign??!! Then you have to wait ages for the order to be taken - had to go up to the counter to place it. And when it comes to pay the bill the person who has just taken payment from the previous customer turns and walks away as if you were invisible. In between we had a nice cup of coffee and scone served by a very pleasant young person. Why can't staff be trained in the very elementary skill of acknowledging your presence and letting you know you will be attended to shortly? It would make all the difference but, sadly, cafe/restaurant owners don't seem to teach their staff basic social skills. Also, get rid of the "Wait here.." sign if you don't really mean it.

Nice bacon roll plus good white coffee for me and fried egg roll with fresh orange juice for my wife. Good service , nice food reasonably priced.

Really loved the different varieties of hot chocolate on offer. Lovely menu, good prices, great service, tasty food, nice selection of cakes - highly recommend.

Feeling sorry for ourselves after our flu jabs, we crossed the road to this most welcoming restaurant. We were met by the smiling Morven. She was so friendly and attentive during our visit. She is a great ambassador for the company.!Coffee and cake perked us up big time. Strongly recommend this place when in the area. Will be back for sure.

Had a quick lunch here yesterday - just soup - but was so tasty! I had sweet potato soup and hubby had lentil soup. Staff were great - fast service! Other food looked great - we would go back for more substantial fare another time!

Not a lot of tables due to Covid social distancing. Seemed really popular. Only issue was having to ask for sugar as nothing on tables.

Visited last week and had a great lunch. Would recommend the bacon , brie ,chilli jam pannini ! It was served with a tasty side salad and good crisps. Little details but worth noting . The girls serving were very friendly and helpful. We even had some home baking after . A great wee place to break up your day inTroon

Lovely breakfast. Friendly staff. We are all full. Excellent service, prompt. Nice atmosphere. Hot chocolate amazing. French toast to die for and smoothie was amazing. Well worth it, definitely recommend and a great start to a miserable weather day. Taking some muffins and scones to go too and thank you for the memories. This is where my husband and I had our first date!

Minimalist cafe, perhaps due to covid. Excellent soup and nice scones. Only down side is that staff could acknowledge your presence when waiting to be seated. Even a , I'll be with you in a second, rather than just ignoring you as they ferry orders to tables and past you to the tables outside. A bit annoying and I saw several people leaving as they had had no interaction ftom the staff. Once seated the staff were fine.

Lovely lunch menu with toasties and panini's (coronation chicken recommended) and then followed off with some homemaking - scone, cream and jam. Back on our bikes to work off all the extra calories!!

Slower service than normal but to be Frank this cannot detract from the fact that this is a lovely , dog friendly, tea room. We'll worth a visit.

Been here a good number of times, often we just have takeaway sandwiches or toasties with coffees, and sometimes treat ourselves to the great cake options! Also sat few times in, though it's a small place and you might need to wait if you want...

Back again... normal rules apply... excellent jacket potato and a hot drink... took a scone home as could not eat it after thr meal

OK it's a takeaway as opposed to an eat in but the lunch boxes for £8 were excellent value and the selection and quality was fantastic. Glad to be back!

My friends and I ordered coffees and take away food from here today. What a joy fantastic flat white good and hot even in a take away latte art. All drinks thoughtfully marked. Good prices super friendly staff. Brilliant guys thanks.

Although not the most picturesque location (opposite the Town Hall), Blueberrys is a fine place to enjoy coffee and cake. All the usual protocols are religiously followed and everything feels very safe both inside and out. Good coffee and the fruit loaf was particularly nice....

Black coffee and 2 rolls, not much could go wrong? Well your right, good coffee and the rolls where fresh and tasty 👍 Blueberrys is fairy small with about 8 tables inside and a few alfresco outside. Ok decoration and friendly helpful staff

Great location in Troon especially if you can sit outside but food is very average , and the young staff just look like they can’t be bothered offering any decent level of service , we had to ask for our table to be cleaned which...

Stopped for takeaway snacks while in a visit to Troon. Simple queuing system, hand sanitiser available and staff were taking contact details from anyone who was 'sitting in'. Pleasant staff, delicious plum and sticky toffee muffins with hot drinks, all quickly and efficiently served and...

Stopped here one late morning on Sunday for a drink. I had a dark ganache hot chocolate and my husband had an amoretto mocha. We both got treacle scones. They were quite good. Staff very pleasant. Would recommend

Was in on January 22nd around 1pm with my wife and I have to say the food was really good however the service was very poor, could see the girls sitting in the back playing on their mobiles and when I was trying to look for one of the staff for help, it took me ages to finally get a hold of someone, was very frustrating and very disappointing because it’s a good cage. if this was worked on this would have been 5/5.

Called in for coffees and scones, and found everything to be very nice. The lady who served us was very pleasant and helpful.

Very young group of inexperienced staff who clearly had no guidance from a manager or supervisor . Food was ordinary after a mix up with order and long wait for soup & toasted sandwiches. Staff not attentive at tables ,chatting @ cash point when tables needed cleared & customers looking to order coffee after food . Final mix up when paying bill & one of us could have left without paying as staff member walked off after 2 of us paid . Lots of compition in Troon so have to be top of game . They are certainly not .

Food was fantastic service not so much. Would be 5 out of 5 for food. 2 out of 5 for service. So I went safe with a 4. Not a friendly service at all.

Well, if ever a coffee shop could make people so unwelcome, this place deserves an accolade!The three of us sat down at a table, with no acknowledgement from the sour faced young waitresses behind the counter who watched us come in.Apart from us, there were only two other tables occupied. That should probably have been a warning sign.The two waitresses, well, their work ethic leaves a lot to be desired. They saw us peruse the menu and kept popping through to the kitchen, with no indication that they would take our order.After waiting for ten minutes, we got up,and left....to be confronted by the same unfriendly glowers that we had met on coming in! On going round the corner, we went to The Stawberry Cushion, where we were greeted with a smile, excellent service from the young staff and first class food.We know where we will be going next time!

Dropped in today for a light lunch and were not disappointed. Nice sandwiches and an excellent side salad... as for the scones as light as a feather. Drinks were quality. Excellent.

Worst customer care I ever experienced! If you are foreign they will treat like you like air... this is indirect racism... Avoid this cafe. Women which was serving, preferred to sit in the back and eat her soup... I had to wait for coffee much longer then the tables next to me, which order later than me for food... 5 Minutes till somebody took my money, it was more important to hide in the back then to serve customer and get everything quick... Absolute shocking you will never see me again, so disappointed to get treated like that

Outside seating on a sunny day... Have them a go and glad we did... accepted they are not the cheapest cafe but all cane with a flair... salad in sandwiches was to die for as were the sandwiches. As for the scones simply food heaven

Cosy tearoom to meet friends for a chat etc. Warm welcome newspapers excellent coffee and delicious home baking -what more could you ask!

Cosy atmosphere. Delicious tea served in china cups. Fresh scones and jam. All perfect. Very busy with locals which is always a good sign.

Not been in here for a while but after a bracing walk my wife and I decided to have a pot of tea and some cake. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff and always appears busy. Hard not to recommend!

Always enjoy a wee visit to Blueberrys whether for lunch or a coffee and a home baked cake. Soup and or sandwiches are so tasty and sandwiches are always freshly made and the home made baking is great and a large choice on offer.

Lovely selection of food at reasonable prices too! Gluten free cake and sandwiches offered as well - located near the beach so great location.

Popped in here for a morning snack whilst visiting Troon last Sunday. Delicious, fresh scones and a cappuccino that actually tasted like coffee (!!) Good value for money. Efficient service. Would definitely return.

Only stopped on here to get out of the rain. Had some coffee and a bowl of soup. Both were fine, no complaints.

Staff (all young girls) more interested in taking photos on their phones and messing around than the customer experience. No one minds staff enjoying their work but the loud laughter coming from the kitchen was uncomfortable for the customers.

We visited yesterday ,looked good from outside however staff need a lesson in how to handle customers ,we were a family of five but only tables for four or two are available so we sat the children at an adjacent table,no time did they offer to join tables,we duly ordered our lunch,however,55 mins later and as most other customers had been served,some having taken their seats long after us,we asked what had happened to our lunch,the reply from an elderly lady,who seemed not to be able to grasp how much cutlery was required,was that ours was a large order therefore taking more time,found that a bit strange as the table next to us who came in well after us had been served and had 5 people also,next a waitress came over and told us there was a problem in the kitchen as the ticket orders had been dropped they did not know the correct order to serve food,however as we had been about the first table inside it would not take a genius to take note we were still waiting,my husband then replied as we had waited55 mind already we expected our food as soon as,the waitress replied that like the way she was spoken to,at this point you may think we we rude. shouting,swearing? no we merely pointed out that we had been given a different story,at that point we decided to leave offered to pay for the drinks we ordered but were told the drinks would be free,now let me give you a little advise if you have the same scenario,all you had to do was come over explain what had happened,offer the children a free ice cream or similar and hot foot to the kitchen to get our order,but the waitress chose to be very confontrational and down right rude,nice welcome for visitors to your town,I hasten to add that we went further down the street had a lovely meal by a really nice waitress to whom nothing was a problem,sorry cannot comment on food,but have taken note to tell our friends to avoid if ever in Troon

What a lovely surprise. Popped in for lunch - I had coronation chicken sandwich and hubby had ham, cheese and tomato baguette. Both came with crisps and salad. Salad had little bits of pineapple and tangerine and everything was crispy and fresh. Tea was served with a lovely teacup and saucer. Nice little place.

Conveniently situated for both town and beach, this traditional little cafe is decorated in delicate nautical colours. Although we had just beverages and scones, a good range of snacks and light meals was also available. Our tea and coffee were both perfect, as were the home-baked scones. Staff were friendly and proficient. A very pleasant refreshment stop.

We only ordered lattes, so I can say how the food is there. The lattes were just ok. The cafe next door—Betsy’s—had better lattes. Super cute atmosphere! Food looked good.

Well, we decided to pop in here for a light lunch, not one smile from any of the staff, I noticed it was the same whoever came in, again no smiles. The sandwiches were fine But placed down on the table with again no smile. Surely if they want folk to come in then at least make an effort and welcome them, we are not wanting to be best buddies with them but come on a smile doesn’t hurt. Plus when we paid, the change was put into my husband’s hand without so much as a thank you. We should have gone next door. We will not be back.

Went in a Sunday afternoon, sat down just as the waitress was wiping the table so they obviously knew we were there for something to eat. Only one menu so had to share, table next to us had no menu and had to ask to borrow someone else’s. Waited for the staff to come and take our order but the 4 waitresses seemed to be busy standing at the till looking miserable. Tried to make eye contact but they were determined to look the other way. Eventually waitress came over and served the table next to us who had come in after us. Got up and left as we can’t abide such poor service. Place wasn’t particularly busy but the staff were not at all interested. Luckily there is a cafe next door, where we were greeted on arrival by the waiter and a menu each. Won’t ever be back to the Blueberry and would never recommend it due to non existent service and disinterested ignorant staff.

Stopped here for a bite to eat. A very nice friendly cafe with good staff. The food is pretty good as well. My only complaint was that I had a jam and cream scone afterwards and they used canned squirty cream. It doesn’t take much to whip up a batch of cream. The scone was delicious. I would have given here five out of five apart from the cream.

The food is freshly prepared and the menu offers a good choice. The soup is excellent and the fact things are made freshly is a massive plus. The service is always friendly and unobtrusive. A great place for a simple family lunch on the go.

I decided today to give this place another chance , I was so very wrong !!! Having attended my sister's funeral with her husband and daughter I drove them to Troon as it was one of her favourite places . We stopped for a coffee and on entering the coffee shop we stood at the door as all tables full apart from one that was laden with dirty dishes . I don't think my standards are any greater than any other paying guest but I did not want to sit at a dirty table so waited for the waitress to clear the table . She could see us standing there , along with another couple who had now arrived looking for a table . Not once were we acknowledged and when she had attempted to clear some of the table I asked politely if we could sit at the table and was given a curt response . We did sit down but continued to wait for any acknowledgement from surly staff . A female appeared from the kitchen and when I motioned to her to ask if I could order I got an icy glare and another curt response . At this point I noticed the couple who came in at the same time as us , was so disgusted at the service that they left . At this point a waitress came and looking thoroughly disinterested came to take out order . At this point , I had enough . I pointed out that I was disgusted at the service shown to us since the minute we walked in , and got the reply there's only 2 on ! When I then pointed out that this was already a very difficult day with the funeral , which she had made worse , I was then given the response ' I know what it's like , I lost my mother '. While this woman has my condolences , it still does not excuse her atrocious manner . We left this excuse for a coffee shop and went to the place next door , which I will review separately as it was in a completely different league to this place . Blueberry's send your staff next door for a lesson on how to get customer service right or employ ones that actually care . I will never be back and would never in a million years recommend . The only reason I have gave this one star is because I couldn't rate it zero , otherwise my review would not be accepted . It doesn't even deserve that one star .

A rather old fashioned coffee shop. Nothing posh or modern. Just good honest fayre. If your in the area and need refreshment, well, here you are.

Stopped off here last weekend and sat outside with the dog. Service was fast and efficient, staff friendly. Soup, panini, baked potato and scones all lovely and really fresh. Presentation was nice, will visit again next time in Troon.

The coffee was fairly weak and small - I was not asked and did not realise until later that a larger one was available. The slice of fruit loaf was fresh and moist but more butter would have been nice.Service friendly.Toilet minute but clean.

Very busy on a sunny bank holiday, got a table outside, service was but low as busy so was ok!Two toasties, food exactly as you would expect!

Blueberry is opposite the concert hall where many events are held and close to the beach with a fair amount of parking. We were attracted by the colourful appearance and the outside seating. Inside it is a little basic and they have what looked like second had books for sale. A few cakes and scones were on display and after ordering our food was promptly delivered. Had the feel of a community centre - a good atmosphere though and obviously popular with special deals for pensioners.

Great coffee and a wide range of enjoyable savoury and sweet snacks and meals. Very polite and professional service.

Had lunch here today with my daughters and grandaughters.Lunch was really nice. Lentil soup and soup of the day Mushroom were both lovely.We also had sandwiches and tea.Everything was really nice. There were a couple of mistakes with our order, but both were rectified quickly without any probl ms . Toilets could do with a bit of redecorating, they were clean but looked grubby as needing a freshened up. Would definitely go back again if in the area. There is also a seating area outside.

Staff are always welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food itself is traditional in variety - soup, sandwiches & cakes. But always well-prepared & flavourful. Excellent coffee and the scones are most definitely the stars of the show - incredibly delicious!

Had lunch here and the staff are all very pleasant. The food was OK, but nothing to write home about unfortunately.

Popped in here with my son for a bowl of soup ordered the chilli bean and guacamole soup.........was served lentil......bit dissapointed as can have lentil soup any day of the week. Only us two in the cafe so wasn't down to it being busy. Lentil soup was lovely but it wasn't chilli bean . No crusty bread left either. Appreciate it was half an hour from closing but would have been nice.

I really enjoy my visits to Blueberrys! The staff are always friendly, providing a very quick service. Everything is sparkly clean. They do an excellent bacon roll and latte. An added bonus is to sit outside in the sun and watch the world go by!

We just dropped in for a coffee and scone after a walk along the beachfront. It's a bright little place and had a constant flow of customers during our visit which possibly testifies to it's popularity. The coffee and scones were good, the staff pleasant although I'd agree with a previous reviewer that the unisex toilet is a bit of squeeze to get in and out although there are public toilets nearby!

Popular coffee shop especially with local ladies meeting up . I was only in the town for a fortnight . After an early morning dog walk on the beach , nothing better than perusing the paper whilst scoffing a fresh warm scone with jam and cream . Their coffee is excellent and their cakes very tasty especially their Bakewell Tarts . Their waitresses are pleasant young girls , who provide an excellent service and smile ! !

Don't get me wrong, the food was good in here but the service is where I have a problem. We arrived at 11.20am and the waitress asked us what we wanted before we even had a chance to look at a menu. I asked her to come back in a bit so we could decide and when she did my daughter ordered a tuna sandwich. The waitress then told us we couldn't have a tuna sandwich as they were still serving breakfast until 11.30. Somehow 10 minutes is too long a time to be able to serve a tuna sandwich. My daughter was upset that she had to change her choice quickly but she did. What annoys me though is that we didn't even get our food until after 11.30. So what was the point of refusing to make a sandwich? The waitress also had an attitude about her like she thought we should be grateful to her or something. It was just awkward. You felt like you didn't want to ask for anything or that you were treading on eggshells around her. Despite the food being ok, we wouldn't be back purely for the unreasonable service.

Having a day in Troon with a friend and we decided to have lunch in Blueberries. Efficient service and we each had a panini followed by lime and coconut meringue pie with coffee, delicious! Loved the idea of having cakes on similar theme to Great British Bake Off. Excellent value and my only complaint might be that the only toilet on offer was a bit on the cramped side.

Torrential rain on Saturday but you will always be extended a warm & dry welcome to this super Coffee Shop.Coffee and scones are terrific and the waiting staff even stand in the window to attract you in Heh! Heh!
