10/10. From our welcome at reception and beyond. Our room was comfy, nicely decorated, quiet. Bed was really comfy, shower was great too. Breakfast was hot, well cooked and staff were smiley and helpful. What a lovely outlook. Such good value for money

Los horarios de apertura no son fiables. Dice 9-5 pero aparecimos a las 3: 25 pm y dicha cocina cierra 3: 30 pm. Además, el número de teléfono no funciona como intentamos llamar por adelantado. Así que no me impresionó ya que caminamos durante bastante tiempo para llegar allí. Anuncie su horario de apertura correcto y actualice sus datos de contacto. Si no puedes hacerlo, ¿cómo puedo confiar en tu comida?

Didn't eat here, but probably should have since I failed to eat at all that evening! The atmosphere was nice, although the music a touch loud.

I was served a pint of Guinness which was absolutely the worst pint i have ever had, the head on it was massive. We were then handed 2 menus that were all stained and had not been cleaned.We were going to have a Sunday roast and asked what the beef was, the reply was its beef. Avoid this place and go to the Fox and Hound like we did and the food and service were exceptional

Very good fish& chips at reasonable price!

Had a beautiful meal with my Husband and twin boys celebrating the end of thier school exams. Our waitress Naimh was so helpful and polite , unfortunately her shift ended before we personally got to thank her, although I managed to pass on our thanks to the manager at the time. As a family we will be back again. Thank to Naimh for making our experience so pleasurable, I hope your kindness, manners and respect is noticed with the work place. Heather laswson

Such a fun place! The drinks were delicious and so cool, and the service was prompt and friendly.

You will be well looked after here in a beautiful location with everything you need in well equipped, beautifully furnished accommodation. Second time we've stayed here and it was just as good as we remembered the first time.

The duke has a famous atmosphere, and I will continents to return fo4 work. However, I have been two days in a row to order an matcha late, as the first time, it was very good. But there stock is inconsistent and unreliable, so I have still.. not .. has my matcha

Best choice!! Fresh and so tasty fish! Great staff very nice and family atmosphere. Definitely we will be back. If you looking for local fish and chips you can’t go wrong in this place!

Afternoon Tea was superb! My first time in Scotland and first time and The Spence and I was blown away! Beautiful decor, amazing tea and even better service from Jess and Sasha who made the experience a 10/10 🥰 I loved it so much I’m lost for words which may be unhelpful but honestly you just have to go. Treat your day with a visit and be as happy as I am right now! So glad I had the extras too to take my Afternoon Tea to the next level.
