Stunning food and lovely coffee. Staff are super chilled and laid back, atmosphere is very busy so not the best place for anxious wee souls. I tried the Alba from the eggs section of the menu and was not disappointed my friend also enjoyed his vegetarian breakfast. 100% going back to try more food! Update in September 2024 - will not be back. One member of staff made me feel so uneasy, so u welcome and so judged. A younger lass hair in a tight bun but as soon as I walked in the door she looked me up and down and said yep? Instead of asking if I needed a seat and how many for - maybe she judged for being alone but I was there to wait for a friend. She then pointed at a seat and said "yeah you can go sit there when your friend arrives". I ended up leaving as I've never felt so ridiculed upon entering a restaurant. Never again. Your breakfast will be missed. It's ashame how one person can ruin it for everyone.

Well worth the hype. The food was amazing and every single thing we ordered tasted delicious. I love hash brows and these were 10/10. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the value for money was good. I've been to other brunch spots and are much more expensive and don't delivery food as delicious as this.

We decided to take our family of three out for what we hoped would be a pleasant brunch, but it quickly turned into a frustrating ordeal of Saturday morning. My husband arrived ahead of us around 9:45 and placed an order for all of us, coffee and meals, anticipating it would get busy. When my child and I joined him at the table around 10:10, nothing had been served—not even a glass of water. I had to ask one of the waiting staff for water, and immediately noticed that one of the glasses had a strange, unpleasant smell. Wanting to stay optimistic, I didn’t make a fuss and simply requested a new glass, hoping the meal would make up for the shaky start. What followed was an hour of waiting with no explanation. We watched as other tables—who had arrived well after us—were served their meals, while we sat there hungry and confused. Our child, though growing restless, remained calm, which made the situation even more frustrating as we tried to make the best of it. When we finally asked about our food, a staff member came over, mentioning there had been some confusion in the kitchen. She assured us that our meals would be made a priority. Despite this, nothing changed. The café wasn’t understaffed—there were four or five servers in the dining area, and we even saw a few casually drinking coffee and juice behind the bar. Yet it was clear they were completely disorganised. No one gave us an update, and we felt ignored. The couple at the table next to us even looked shocked at how poorly we were treated. After waiting over an hour without receiving our meals, we had no choice but to leave. What was supposed to be a relaxing family outing became one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. If I were the owner of this café, I’d ensure proper staff training. It’s unacceptable for servers to lounge around while guests are being ignored, and relying on memory rather than writing down orders only invites chaos. This kind of carelessness ruins a restaurant's reputation.

It is a really nice place to pop for food and coffee. There were lots of students and tourists in the area and it was a lot busier than I had expected. With that said, I didn't have to wait long to be served, and the staff knew the menu well and could answer any questions I had off the top of their head. A cool little spot to eat if, like me, you're visiting the galleries for the day.

We visited here today with our toddler. The waitress who initially saw us and took our order was very endearing towards our child, which was a great first impression. She was very patient with us talking half a Century to order and made helpful meal suggestions for our tot. They advertised a guest monthly craft beer, but didn't actually have one; only a couple of ordinary lagers. I ordered a full Scottish breakfast. The portion size was good, but I wasn't impressed with the quality. For our daughter we got pancakes with Nutella and fruit (blueberries and strawberries). She isn't used to such sweet food as Nutella and barely touched it (our bad) so we polished off the pancakes. They were tough and dry; we had to use a knife to cut through it as a fork didn't manage alone (and whilst I'm no Schwarzeneggar, I'm no waif). My partner had a vegan sausage and avo brioche, and thought this was very good, though agreed with me on the other dishes served. Her Bloody Mary arrived in a small white wine glass, which just isn't right, particularly given it cost a regular cocktail glass price at £8; that's just disingenuous. We tried to engage the waitress in light conversation at the end when we went to pay but to no avail as no banter was forthcoming; unexpected in Glaswegian hospitality. She commented at the end "A wee message will come up" on the till. This 'wee message' was actually a prompt as to whether I wanted to tip or not. This annoyed me, because it felt like a peer-pressure type of guilt trip; it placed me in a position where my attention was drawn to something pretty obvious that I'd be able to discern myself without a prompt, and that I would have to therefore wilfully demonstrate my refusal to tip in front of her. The meal wasn't inexpensive either; £37 for all the above; a full Scottish, a brioche burger, pancakes (kid's portion), a pint, and one cocktail. I'd have been happy to tip the first waitress who saw us, but not the staff as a whole, for the overall experience just wasn't there for us; we won't be going back.

My pale grey salmon bread just arrived. It was supposed to be the salmon and dill toast... I'm not sure what I have just paid 16 quid for but it's not even edible. The nicest thing about my delivery was the bag it was delivered in. I have actually been here a few times and come specifically for this. I am shocked at what has arrived. The bread was barley toasted, tiny slice with the shoddy bin cuts of salmon that were almost past it. 5 capers!! 5! No fresh dill, again the scrapings or a hint of dill, nothing fresh about this. The oil, that I think was there was just seeped into the cheap polystyrene packaging. No edibles flowers? I don't mind paying for quality and I am shook. Unacceptable. Yuck

I’ve been here a few times before & it’s been decent however, my visit yesterday was below average. The service wasn’t the best -our waitress wasn’t interested in doing anything above a basic service. One of our party had their order completely forgotten about & they only realised when we pointed it out. This resulted in us eating at different times. To be fair, the basic avocado on sourdough didn’t look great & I don’t think it was sourdough! Standards in the food have gone down & the service also. Disappointing, don’t think I’ll return.

We went a few months ago and really enjoyed it, so decided to go again the other day. I had the sausage patty brioche and my partner had the chicken and fried waffles (which he had the first time and loved). Unfortunately his chicken was very dry this time and it was quite an underwhelming dish. As for the sausage brioche, it was mediocre and the reason for my low score is due to having had food poisoning since eating this. I've read reviews on TripAdvisor referring to poor hygiene practises which makes me wonder if this has caused my food poisoning. Within 10 minutes of eating the roll I had stomach cramps and I've been now sick for 3 days. This has put us off returning again, which is a pity as the menu is decent and the staff were friendly enough.

Usually, this place is worth 4-5 stars but I deleted my old review to post an update. Today, the staff seemed mostly disinterested. Two or three of them seemed to be more interested in hanging out with the people in Range Rover outside than looking after customers properly. We weren't offered any water for the table as we had been on other visits. Half the normal amount of toast with the breakfast and it was VERY dry. The bacon was poorly cooked, looked like the pan was too hot, same goes for the Lorne sausage Fried egg undercooked The mushroom, black pudding & potato scone were lovely though. If this had been my first visit to The Brunch Club, I wouldn't return. Hopefully things will resume the usual excellent quality when they're not distracted by people in an overpriced gas guzzler

Went to try The Brunch Club after seeing it promoted on social media a lot and a recommendation from a friend. We were able to get a table quite quickly even thought aware that it could be busy. Our order was the French Toast special, and the waffles with halloumi special. The French toast wasn't French toast. It was two slices of lightly toasted white bread that hadn't been cooked or soaked in anything. When we questioned this, the server agreed with our thoughts and spoke to the kitchen, but the kitchen's reply was, "that is our French Toast". Very contradictory and it looked nowhere near the photos of others here. The Waffles with Halloumi were very dry and only a small amount of avocado and dribble of syrup. The smoothies were extremely sugary. I had high hopes and looked forward to visiting after what I had read, but left feeling extremely disappointed and confused

We had our breakfast meals which we enjoyed but after we had finished eating and were finishing our coffee / drinks I witnessed the chef remove the inner plastic cover from a condiment bottle with his teeth!! He then poured directly onto customers food which looked like chicken and waffles. This happened again moments later with a different bottle. Honestly, the best breakfast and brunch in Glasgow. I had the Bacon, egg and cheese. I also got the Sausage egg and cheese with the house ketchup. It was unreal, Fully recommend! Thanks

Amazing place for brekkie / brunch. We had the sumptuous no 4 vegan bap, the number 2 sausage egg and cheese brioche and the croque Madame

I’ve seen recommendations of it on social media, so I’ve decided to give it a try. Staff are nice and accommodating. Coffee was okay. French toast: nothing special about it. It looked better than it tasted. Could be improved. It is a nice thick slice, crispy from the outside, dry from the inside. Strong unpleasant burnt butter taste.

A lucky find! Staying at the Quay side Premier Inn and needed breakfast. Well worth the short walk. Had a great cooked breakfast, friendly helpful staff and great ambience.

Excellent brunch venue, that was worth waiting 30 minutes for. Busy for a good reason, the food is excellent, the staff relaxed but efficient and give thoughtful recommendations. Music was perfect for a lazy Sunday. Coffee good, croque madame excellent and cinnamon brioche soldiers with maple syrup as indulgent as it should be! Menu had plenty more things I wanted to try, next West End Glasgow visit we will likely be back

Had a lovely meal at the twisted thistle. The staff were amazing and the atmosphere was lovely too. The food was perfect. There is a parking area and a beer garden. There is also a function suite available for hire.
