Good takes forever to come sat waiting over half an hour, stupid!

Se sei a Portree, vai a cena al Caledonia Café dove abbiamo mangiato un pesce squisito e pagato il giusto. Ottimo il salmone sul un letto di patate stufate con scarola e prezzemolo. Eccellente il fish and chips, freschissimo e asciutto. Tenete un posticino per il dolce, la cheesecake alla cannella veramente lodevole.

Just visited the cafe for lunch, it was OK, asked for a tuna sandwich on brown bread as I'm diabetic but got it on white😠 Prices were reasonable and great views of the harbour from window seats.

Great food with even better waiting staff of Gregor and Duncan who were excellent best service I’ve ever had and would definitely go back

Had a lovely Sunday lunch / tea food was great drinks took a while to come when ordered through the app but it was busy. The one let down was table 28, the pub was so busy we had to take table 27, all the time we were in the pub probably 3 hours plus they took all chairs from tables 26, 25, 24 and 1 from ours they then vaped continually, it started discreetly with one woman but by the time we moved tables to get away from it, it was most of the table, apart from the younger children, yes some of the teenagers were vaping. They got that loud that although watching man united Fulham game we had to move as they were unbearable. I thought it was illegal to smoke or vape on licenced premises but the staff walked past ignoring them maybe the licence holders or premises supervisor needs to be refreshed as to the law in scotland Mark

There's a mandatory 10% service charge on the bill - which I disagree with. We were a table of 2. I always tip but I strongly disagree with this being added to a bill without being flagged to the customer. Normally bills will at least say "optional service charge" but this one did not. It's an expensive restaurant (and i presume experienced staff), and thus presume the staff would be paid according to that, therefore tips should be at customers discretion. The food was great, really tasty but just not enough of it, the pork came with like little more than a tablespoon of mash potato and salsa Verde. Vibe of the restaurant is a bit random, scottish but also a tropical theme? Not sure but the interior was nice and super clean.

We stopped by McGinty’s just for a few snacks and pints, and were seriously impressed. The dirty fries with haggis were so tasty, and the haggis bon bons were yummy—crispy, flavourful, and super satisfying. Even the onion rings were spot on. The atmosphere is great—cozy, welcoming, and just a lovely place to relax. Definitely somewhere we’ll be coming back to!

Great little café where you can have a delicious breakfast before starting the day. Super friendly and friendly staff.

10/10. From our welcome at reception and beyond. Our room was comfy, nicely decorated, quiet. Bed was really comfy, shower was great too. Breakfast was hot, well cooked and staff were smiley and helpful. What a lovely outlook. Such good value for money

Los horarios de apertura no son fiables. Dice 9-5 pero aparecimos a las 3: 25 pm y dicha cocina cierra 3: 30 pm. Además, el número de teléfono no funciona como intentamos llamar por adelantado. Así que no me impresionó ya que caminamos durante bastante tiempo para llegar allí. Anuncie su horario de apertura correcto y actualice sus datos de contacto. Si no puedes hacerlo, ¿cómo puedo confiar en tu comida?

Gone here regular over last 10+yrs and food has always been amazing..always booked for occassions ... even had my daughters communion dinner here howowever went friday 24th and service was as usual good cant fault that but food was awful...ordered fish and chips x 2...was like a kids menu soo small and a dozen chips for 13.50 it was a disapointment...hubby had enchiladas and the chicken wasn't cooked it was tough...not sure whats happening but usually 5* tottally disapointed and will not rush to go back 😪
