Boozy brunch was fab and the server a total legend Had to bail 4/6 drinks in but would deffo do it again thanks to the wee mad blonde who realised the queen of aperol needed her fix haha

Fantastic location and a great place to eat.

We have used The Mint on and off for over 15 years and we seldom have any complaints. The last couple of times we have went there we went for the braised beef with mash, and I’ll tell you what, if you order it you won’t be disappointed, it’s absolutely delicious, the meat is so tender you can cut it with a spoon, the mash is smooth and the red wine sauce is delicious 😋 So try it out. Well done chef 👍💕

We were legit starving in portree - very limited options and everything booked or bland. This place was a breath of fresh air and the first good protein I’ve had in days. Highly recommend.

Just visited the cafe for lunch, it was OK, asked for a tuna sandwich on brown bread as I'm diabetic but got it on white😠 Prices were reasonable and great views of the harbour from window seats.

Great meal which was made even more enjoyable by the fantastic waiting staff who were very attentive and looked after us very well - Gregor and Duncan

What a lovely place to have a meal! I even got to practice my Scottish accent with the lovely Kirstin!!!

There's a mandatory 10% service charge on the bill - which I disagree with. We were a table of 2. I always tip but I strongly disagree with this being added to a bill without being flagged to the customer. Normally bills will at least say "optional service charge" but this one did not. It's an expensive restaurant (and i presume experienced staff), and thus presume the staff would be paid according to that, therefore tips should be at customers discretion. The food was great, really tasty but just not enough of it, the pork came with like little more than a tablespoon of mash potato and salsa Verde. Vibe of the restaurant is a bit random, scottish but also a tropical theme? Not sure but the interior was nice and super clean.

I had Mac n cheese with salad slaw and garlic bread and a pint of Aberdeen Lager. It cost me £17 I fancied a sticky toffee pudding later but the kitchen was closed Nice chilled atmosphere but cosy and great staff and decor was hardly anyone there but didn't feel empty Apparently a great place to sample fine whiskies Great find

No puede faltar esta encantadora cafetería privada, pasteles y pasteles preciosos y aunque no tuvimos nada salado también se veían deliciosos. Buen café fuerte y el personal era genial. Estábamos conociendo a una de nuestras nietas adolescentes y habíamos llegado temprano y ella se retrasó, pero acomodaron esto con buena gracia, ya que es pequeño y yo era consciente de esto. Recomiendo encarecidamente si estás en la zona, pero cierra a las 4 pm, así que no lo dejes demasiado tarde en el día.

Really great location with nice vibe and food, would definitely go back. Dog friendly too.
