Troy, and his staff, are an absolute pleasure. In a well run establishment. Felix, Thomas, Beth and Dionne are so welcoming. But a special mention for Nadine. For her, nothing is too trouble, and it's always service with a smile.👍

The food here is really bad. Really disappointing experience. The food was of poor quality and visibly prepared with low quality ingredients. The burgers arrived cold and were inedible. Not only was the service slow, but the staff also seemed disinterested in our needs. Completely inadequate value for money. I don't recommend it at all and I definitely won't be returning. Stay away.

One of the worst dinners in Edinburgh, non-existent service, order taken at the counter, poor food. Go somewhere else!

A truly good example of a pub restaurant that still has a wonderful atmosphere with great service. The food was truly superb and served very well indeed

Great find. Tasty macaroni and cheese toasty. Friendly happy staff and dog friendly which was a bonus. Decent prices given the location.

This old pub is now a Green King and the menu is much as you'd expect. The service was good and the staff were friendly. Our small group tried the scampi and chips, Mac and cheese and the chicken ham a leek pie. Portions were plentiful, and the veg served with the pie was cooked perfectly.

Very nice pub. Drink a few beers and eat something stress-free.

Great service food amazing had Macaroni and Cheese nice Salad with dressing wow wow wow. 2 pints of Tenents Lager cold and crisp. Mum had Fish and Chips said the best she had ever had. Please go there it's great service. Friendly staff.

Reviews took us to this place, unfortunately we were so disappointed. Decor shabby (all that was missing was spit and sawdust) toilets were disgusting . Food very disappointing. Ordered a naked burger, burger was brought out with a roll, sent it back it reappeared without lettuce, tomato or onions, burgers were overcooked and very chewy, bacon was black, chips and onion rings were cold. People who had ordered after us were served before us, staff were not particularly friendly. Ordered a glass of water twice. . . Still waiting!. . . Will definitely not be back,!

Been a long time since I visited didn't eat, just a drink, all menus on table but when 2 forigen girls asked for food told too late if so take your menus off the tables

Great friendly pub for lunch. We ordered the lasagne, burger and fish and chips which were all freshly made and tasty. Our server Felix was super friendly and professional really made us feel welcome. Very impressed. *****

Great service (thanks Kirsten), great drinks. Couldn't ask for more from a local pub. As a side note, always appreciate when pubs advertise sport and then show it with the commentary on.

Great experience at the Corstorphine Inn. I had my wedding around the corner at the Old Parish Church. We rented out a section of the pub before the wedding and they were so kind, even let me pour a beer for a wedding photo. James is awesome and so is the whole staff. Jared and Amy give it two thumbs up!

Visiting the area and was looking for somewhere to take the family for an evening. Got recommended the Costorphine Inn, and it was the perfect recommendation. James and his team made us feel so welcome! The food was incredible and very reasonably priced, too. The service was quick, and the atmosphere was exactly what we were after. It was so good, we went back the following x2 evenings. If ever back in the area, we'll definitely be visiting again. Thank you James and your team, for your hospitality. It is very much appreciated 👌🏽

Standard pub grub, but very enjoyable and served swiftly. James, the bar manager, was very friendly and attentive and we had a lovely Sunday afternoon.

The staff are great and the atmosphere is good. However management clearly don't have a clue how to run a pub. The pub is always understaffed. There is always 1 girl running around serving food and working behind the bar (doing 2 jobs). Multiple times I've walked out with a large group as the wait time is too long

Went for dinner last night, staff looked and acted annoyed. Food arrived cold and the steak pie was most cold and fatty. Was taken back and given a refund, no apology or nothing. I eat there often but I will go else where as I don’t want to spend my money where the staff are as cold as the food.

Was in for the football and you only put the commentary on when it was asked for and only in the front part of the bar! You also had people vaping in the bar including one who was sat next to a bar staff member and nothing was said or done because he did it on several occasions and there was big plumes of smoke! As a non smoker I also don't enjoy having to gauntlet through them as they shouldn't be stood in the doorway!!!

Amazing! Been there a few times and service and food is always amazing. Dionne is an absolute star shes so lovely and she recommended the brownie to me and i have not stopped thinking about it since.

Was here for food with my little one and a friend, food was amazing and Dionne at the bar was a huge help with recommendations for my picky eater! Will be back for some food again and will definitely come for some drinks.

We Had lunch here and a couple drinks and it was great the service we received was bang on and the food was amazing I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice place to have lunch or even dinner with great food and amazing customer service big shoutout to the bar staff who's name is Dionne very polite and friendly had a great conversation with them and she made the whole experience 110% better thank you very much

Was just a quick pop in for some food and drinks, staff were amazing especially Dionne on the bar. We all agreed we will definitely be back in the future! Ps highly recommend the fish and chips that came recommended by Dionne herself.

Came in on Sunday before bank holiday Monday. It was a fairly busy but the bar was moving smoothly. We got a table near the back and had a few small dishes and pints to watch the football. The best thing about this local was the atmosphere was wasn't to loud but also had a nice buzz. Would recommend nipping by for a pint! Shout out nadine for sorting out table 👍🏼

Went for a big family meal 18 people, staff could not of been more friendly and efficient and the food was absolutely amazing.

After a long day of travel. Dinner at this pub was a welcome revival. The staff were friendly, service prompt, and the food good. One of our group reckoned the lasagne was one of the best he'd eaten.

Pub was really busy given big local football game and appealing televised sport but service was awful and the bar was woefully understaffed. Ended up with a forced queue system which was worse than Wetherspoons. Someone needs to organise staffing levels so that drinks and food can be managed seamlessly rather than leaving one person trying to serve 20+ people

Horrendous food and bizarrely poor service. First time and last time we will be here. Out for a bite to eat with friends in a place where the two members of staff were in a trance like state. It was like speaking a cardboard cut out. Ordered a burger based on the assumption that it's pretty hard to get these things wrong. I was served what looked like 2 small, overcooked, tough, chewy pieces of wood. I'm convinced they were leftover from the day before. Complained to staff (see trance like comment for response) and asked them to inform the 'chef'. I guess a good chef would have a little pride and maybe want to apologise. But no. Nothing. In fact no one offered any apology. The other meals were below average at best.

Good value lunch,very helpful and friendly server. Shall go back again

This was my first visit, as my daughter had just moved to Corstorphine the same day. We were there at 6:30 on a Friday. The Inn was relatively busy but not too crowded. My daughter reserved a table, so there was no wait. The food and drinks were all ordered via an "app". (and paid the same way). The meal was excellent and the staff were all so friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend the Corstorphine Inn. I'll definitely he back.

Lovely food, service was fantastic, especially the young North American girl. Gents was a bit chilly, but will definitely be back.

Amazing food Staff are first class and management know what they are doing to deliver magic to the surrounding community Dave and Troy are the 2 nicest people you can meet Ive eaten in there a few times now and the food is cooked to perfection I recommend the roast and Eaton mess sundae.

Due to a little misunderstanding i got two portions of Rumpsteak with Chips,not a double Steak (16 instead of 8 oz). But because i was hungry i didn't really matter.The Steak was medium rare as i ordered,the chips were good,sides as well.Staff is friendly and service was quick, considering the fact that it was quite busy on a sunday evening.Loads of TVs to watch sport,good range of beers and spirits.Wish i went there earlier (and more often) during my holidays in Edinburgh.But there's always a next time.

Food gone way down hill from previous visits and manager is rude! My mum and I visit this pub when I come up for London. My mum is also a regular with her sister and has in the past enjoyed the food, However in more recent visits the food has gone down in standard. We came today and ordered 5 small plates as part of the menu. Two of the plates, haggis fritters and halloumi fries came out burnt, old oil used and you could tell they were reheated. I approached the manager to discuss and showed him the food and he curtly told me that’s “ just how they are!”. When I disagreed, he snatched both plates from me and muttered that he will get them replaced. You can clearly see the replacements were far more fresh. This was not a great experience at all, both from a food standard but also customer service was appalling. So so disappointing. Sorry Corstorphine Inn , we won’t be back until the food is brought back to it’s original wonderful standard and the manager sorts his abrupt attitude out! Ps. the other staff work their socks off and are a credit!!

I can highly recommend the Corstorphine Inn. We have had a lovely meal, the chicken and the steak pies were delicious and very generous portions. We were well looked after by Dave and Beth. Looking forward to going back again soon.

Attend the local poker league here on a Wednesday. A lovely local pub with great staff.

Three cask ales, I had the Jarl, which was good quality, and there's a 10% discount for CAMRA members. It's a bit off the main road so it's not somewhere you'll stumble across by accident.

Enjoy drinking here occasionally both customers and staff are friendly I have eaten here previously just drinks this time 👍

Was feeling absolutely parched and entered the establishment. We stood around for about 10 minutes awaiting to be greeted. I looked around to find no staff in the floor that I could have grabbed their attention. I left feeling unsatisfied, disappointed and also still extremely parched. Will not be back.

The Corstorphine Inn is a great pub. The food is delicious and the service is great. We visited on a Monday holiday and I had Hunters Chicken which was lovely and a very generous portion. There is a good selection of food and drinks on the menu. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great place for a drink, football and food..

Just a tourist trying to get off the beaten path, I found the perfect spot. Tucked away in a gorgeous neighborhood and full of friendly locals. Ohla was exceptionally sweet :). I highly recommend

Have been here plenty of times and recently been unimpressed. They advertise that they're dog friendly, have also seen dogs all throughout the pub which is awesome to see, however when we went we were told dogs are not allowed at one end of the pub. There's no signage to say no dogs past this point, I have also seen other dogs at the end when we were there previously. The lady who took my order and asked for my table number also didn't tell me dogs werent allowed when I asked for a water bowl for my dog, only advised once our food came out and half way done. Great place, just giving 3 stars for my recent encounter

Ein sehr gemütliches Pub mit freundlichem Personal und sehr vielen guten Biersorten. Das Essen haben wir leider nicht probieren können, weil wir bereits vorher essen waren.

Went here with family. No vegetables, no fruit kebabs, food is microwaved until chewy but somehow still cold on the inside. The groups of people getting drunk were having a good time, but the pub really shouldn't advertise a kid's menu because this is not a family friendly place.
