First time there, will be back. Lovely friendly staff. Hadn't booked but we were fitted in

All said and done it was a nice place. The meal was good and generally all was as imagined. The meal wasn’t exceptional but still good. Considering the price paid I’d expect more. It’s a bar not a restaurant. It’s be hard to rate it highly against other restaurants of a similar cost.

Came for a late lunch and was blown away by how good the food was. I had a rice bowl and it was visually stunning, plentiful and tasted delicious whilst my wife had the chicken burger which was brimming with meat. Service was quick and curious. The cocktails are also very reasonably priced. Will be back again.

Gotta say I'd travelled since 4am to get to Airdrie and was recommended this place. 100000% come here. Service from the minute I arrived ( very early I might add) was exceptional. Staff were superb. The assistant manager chatted made sure I felt welcomed to Scotland while I waited for my friends. Food amazing, choice amazing place clean, clientele great. If Scotland calls wherever it may be, then I'm making my way to the Tipsy Cow Airdrie.... Well done all at the restaurant...How service should be! Diolch yn fawr...🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Service was very poor, had to keep asking for drinks food ok. Long wait for drinks complained to a member of staff about girl who basically neatly threw our glasses of wine at the table. Could see if busy but was not the case. Were not asked how things were at end of meal and took long enough for bill to come. Very disappointed so much for Christmas Cheer !!

Lovely food ,atmosphere and all staff so friendly and helpful

Myself and my girlfriend were in the area as we were staying at a hotel near by, we heard people talking about this little place at the hotel we were staying so we visited. Nice little place, we had a few drinks never tried the food but we have no complaints. Drinks were tasty and got us a little tipsy. Thank you, all of the staff looked after us as much as they could. If we ever are back in the area we will be back.

Night out catching up with friends. I had the steak pie. It was ok, but the pastry was cold, and they covered it with gravy to heat it up, but that didn't work. Big portions can't complain about that. Overall, I enjoyed the night.

Absolutely fantastic, delicious food, great atmosphere, lovely decor, very friendly and welcoming staff and reasonably priced also! Will 100% be back.

Cracking wee bar beside the station and the centre, close to shops etc. Good service and plenty of seats for large and small groups alike.

My husband and I ate here on Friday with several friends for a birthday meal. The food was excellent and the staff were all really friendly and very efficient,we didn't wait long for anything and everyone enjoyed themselves. I would definitely like to eat here again when I'm back in the area.

Went here over other local restaurants as have been for dinner and it is usually good. I was highly disappointed with the food provided which I felt was overpriced. It was very quiet and I feel having a lunch menu on would encourage more people to go at lunch. Unlikely be back for lunch and just stick to going for drinks at night.

Really great pub food in a nice setting. Service very good and prices reasonable . Well worth a visit.

Best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had.We went here for a meal before a concert across the street.There was a large party of people and we all loved our meals.Staff were very friendly and quick with the food.I had bacon in the Mac and cheese honestly it was really nice.

Just arrived in town and wanted to eat. Were met by super nice young woman who gave advice on beer before bringing beer and food. We were both full but I was tempted to try the sticky toffee pudding and she advised to try with custard. It was amazing!! If we ever come back to the area, we will visit again.

Family catch up on a Wednesday night for four of us. We all had different meals and, for 3 of us, these were tasty. However, my niece ordered a salad for her main meal. This was supposed to consist of baby gem lettuce, avocado, tomato, peppers, onion, halloumi and croutons. This at a cost of £13. What she received was lettuce and lots of onion with a sliver of halloumi. When we complained, £1.30 was taken off the bill! An insult. It was obviously a magic salad as the chef had said he put the missing items on the dish. We will not return and will tell family and friends of our experience. Poor show Tipsy Cow!!!

Great restaurant with excellent food at a good price

Really nice restaurant and really nice food. It is a bit overpriced for what it is. Service is very slow, no one checks on you for drinks. £3.40 for a multi pack can of diet coke, £4 for 2 small ranikins of garlic mayo, £18 for chicken skewers which came with 2 tiny pieces of bread that they should be able to be wrapped in. They ran out of Tennant's, they also forgot to bring my husband his chips he asked for then my daughter chose her dessert which they also didn't have. All these little things really let it down unfortunately.

Great food, bar service slow, but good atmosphere.

Pleasant welcome as soon as we walked through the door. Promptly shown to a table. Settled in by just a few minutes and we were offered some drinks. Soon after we were asked if we’d like to order. Pre drinks arrived with a very pleasant and jovial waitress. Always relaxing when the staff can have a laugh with you. Starter arrived and were lovely. We had steaks, which were cooked to perfection. Large and juicy. Premises had a relaxing atmosphere, probably helped by the staff’s demeanour. Would I visit again? Definitely.

Three of us had steak pie and really enjoyed it. I had the garlic Indian chicken which was absolutely gorgeous. All had different starters, again all enjoyed. Shout out to the staff who were so attentive and helpful. Will definitely be back when in the area 👍

My friend and I ate here last night (Saturday 8th June ) I’ve never had to complain before but I feel it has to be brought to your attention. I booked the table for 4.15 and at 5.40 we were told we had to vacate the table. We were not asked if we wanted a dessert just told we had to move to a sofa. We explained it was only 5.40 and were unaware at time of booking we only had the table for 2 hours The attitude of the waitress left a lot to be desired with the result we didn’t get a dessert or another drink but asked for the bill and left. So disappointing as we always enjoy our time at Tipsy Cow.

First time in this restaurant was a bit apprehensive after ordering south Indian garlic chicken,but meal was fantastic ... cooked to perfection,spices sauce was lovely.....

Food was amazing, the tapas platter for 2 was so tasty, a lovely mixture of flavours, friendly and efficient staff, will definitely be back

The barman clearly thinks he is funny commenting and making rude remarks about customers to other staff members. Perhaps he should focus on working quicker as he is slower than a week in the jail.

Staff helpful was quiet when we were in which was good for the kids as some places can be rather noisy

Both meals were great however far too many peas for me with my Fish and chips.

Asked gor table for two, got sat no problem. We decided what drinks, cocktails and food to have but got ignored for 15 mins so we left. Food looked very nice aswell. Would of been if they even offered us a drink. Instead we just listened to staff polishing cutlery. Not really staffs fault as it's up to whoever is running the floor. Which in this case( won't say her name) as I don't know it. My partner said on way out we have to go, to which she replied in a lovely pleasant voice " yea that's fine" youngish blonde haired girl

First visit to the tipsy cow and was impressed, the quality of food and portion size was good. Prices are comparable with similar level eateries. The service was snappy and friendly. Will be back when we have more time and more room for the bigger portions. The sticky toffee pudding I was informed was the best the Mrs has ever had. Recommend 👍

Food and service was excellent.

It was our first and last time at the Tipsy Cow. We booked a table for breakfast and got poached eggs and the baked eggs. Food arrived in a timely manner but was a far cry from what was described on the menu. Baked eggs were meant to be eggs on a bed of vegetables with tomato sauce and sourdough bread. What was received was a bowl of tomato soup with 8 or so baby plum tomatoes floating near the bottom and a single egg haphazardly "baked" on top. The egg white was not fully cooked and there were no vegetables to be found in the bowl of tomato soup. To make matters worse, I wasn't even given a spoon for the soup eggs and instead had to fish out bits of tomato and uncooked egg with a fork. The staff never once checked in to ask if everything was okay with our meal. Service was poor in general with staff being more interested in gossiping at the bar area than tending to their patrons. We waited around 15 minutes for the bill after asking for it. It never arrived so we had to go up to the bar where all the staff were congregating to pay for our meal and finally leave. A poor experience all around.

We went for a family meal, all 13 of us had various meals from the menu,including children, not one complaint, success all round, will definitely return.

Partner and I went Monday night because like quiet times. Got table without needing to book. Quick and friendly service. Had mussels in white whine sauce and haggis parcel to start - both tasty, sauces amazing! Had balmoral chicken qs main, generous portion, again very tasty. The stand out dish was South Indian garlic chicken. Best we have tasted in this area. Was smoky, spicy and rich. Highly recommend. We are repeat customers for a reason, but took time to try other restaurants in the airdrie/coatbridge area. This is definitely the best place in Airdrie, and we will now be back more often as the standard and atmosphere is top notch.

Had a girls get together in here and the cocktails where amazing we got a few sharing platters and they where delish will definitely go back to try their meals.

Yesterday my friend and I met for a wee catch up here. We received a very warm welcine from all the staff on arrival. We hadn't booked, but that wasn't a problem as we were given a wee space for two. The food was amazing with generous portions and excellent service. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Ashley waited on us in the main, who was just lovely and she was very attentive and went above and beyond. Price wise it was and the surroundings were really nice too. I'd highly recommend The Tipsy Cow without a doubt.

This was nice I'd go back again to trying something else I was slightly disappointed with the lack of flavour altho it looked amazing but I'd be willing to give it a second go because the staff were great the place looked lovely . I will be back soon and try again

Ordered Christmas roast. Potatoes didn’t have any taste and tasted like frozen potatoes. No cranberry sauce to go with the turkey. To be honest not worth the money.

I was served by Emily who was very accommodating and polite. Will definitely be back - great hot chocolate and even better service

Terrible experience. Booked for 730 for a friends birthday treat as we had been before and enjoyed . We called to say we would be 20 mins late due to issue with taxi. When we called to let them know they had the audacity to ask us to order our meal while we were in the taxi. Unbelievable, Who does that? Arrived and shown to table and had literally sat down and asked what we wanted to eat. Never had time to look at menu but quickly ordered. (They Said the kitchen was shutting so we had to order (what kitchen closes on a Friday night at 8pm,) Food was good as it always is, but constant hovering to ask if we were finished. Still chewing food and plates cleared. Asked to look at cocktail list after dinner and as soon as given, asked what we wanted. Staff to keen to finish up without thinking of customers Last table at 730pm is crazy and they dont take anymore bookings so sitting in an empty restaurant when it should be full. Could be turning tables more often. Have been few times and food is nice but not again. Whoever manages needs the training. The staff are doing as they are told by management. It’s a shame as it’s a nice place

Really unfriendly waitress, felt rushed to order and cocktails were mostly ice. Beer was flat and food wasn’t that amazing either. Seated in a dark corner and had to ask to have the candle on the table lit, unfortunately very underwhelming.

Although I live I airdrie on tues I like to go to town for lunch with my husband of 42 years we had a voucher for tipsy cow as a pressie it is closed on a tues so this week we went on a Monday the staff were delight8 the atmosphere was good the food was edible I have to say I do not like chiche so the menu was restricted it was overpriced could have got 2 courses in miller and carter in town cheaper and more tasty

A busy restaurant that we were lucky to get booked into on a Saturday evening, which seems to prove its popularity. Lovely welcome from staff who are friendly and attentive. We ordered starters of Haggis parcel, Chicken pakora, and Boneless bbq chicken wings, with the blue cheese dip which was lovely. I especially loved the haggis parcel, see photo it was so tasty, and loved how the pakora came with a side of spicy onions too. For mains, we had Salt n Chilli Chicken Tempura, Cajun Chicken, and Chicken Balmoral. The sides were great, too, especially the garlic bread. Their portions are big so much so that we couldn't finish and there was no room for dessert! We also loved the cocktails, too. All in all, it is a great place to eat and drink and will definitely be back. Well done to the team.

Food lovely , staff nice and not overly attentive

Myself and my 2 sons had not booked a table. We were made very welcome and told we would have a few minutes wait, while a table was set up for us. There was a lovely atmosphere, pleasant and friendly staff, plenty of choice on the menu. We are were satisfied with the dishes we ordered but have to mention the pepper 🌶 sauce. Best we ever tasted. Our visit to the Tipsy Cow was enjoyed. I would highly recommend. Anne

What an amazing place, food was amazing, as a starter had the blue mussels with the garlic sauce wow !!!... and came with garlic bread and ends up as an absolutely amazing soup, had a pasta dish after that salsa della casa , the staff were brilliant and would absolutely dine there again. What a brilliant restaurant 👌

We booked a lunch for around 15 people after our wedding at the Airdrie registry office across the road and it could not have been any better. They closed off the back of the restaurant for us and the booths and tables looked lovely. The place was nicely decorated with flowers and candles and the staff was very professional and ensured we had a great time. The food was amazing too, we had starters and mains and everyone loved the food. There was something for everyone on the menu, lots of vegetarian options.

Only ordered the boneless chicken wings. £8. Granted it tasted nice, the portion size was miserable. 3 chicken nugget sized bits of chicken for £8. Not great value for money.

Great food as always, which never fails to deliver. Hanging chicken kebab is a winner! Top marks again

Lovely birthday lunch as a family in the tipsy . Service from Bev and othered was second to now . They help with the birthday surprise and cake so huge thanks for that . Efficiency of the order taking for a table of 8 was so smooth and the food came within 10 minutes. Everything seemed freshly prepared and tasted lovely clean plates all around . 👏👏👏🎉🎂🎉🎂well done team will certainly be back .

We had a booking for 6 people at the Tipsy Cow today for lunch. The staff were nice but the service was very slow. There did seem to be a number of staff working, however the wait for ordering food, additional drinks and then waiting for the bill was far too long. They also charged £8.50 for a strawberry daiquiri mocktail, the same price as an alcoholic one - not sure if this was an error, as the mocktails were not on the drinks menu. The food was lovely, and everyone really enjoyed their meals. Just a shame the service wasn't a bit quicker.

We had a great meal shared with great people and the service was brilliant. Would highly recommend it.

First time here for breakfast/brunch…was excited to try since online posts/photos looked great! Reality quite different. French toast made with what looked like 2 slices of a budget loaf - no garnish - plonked on plate for £6…Pancakes looked odd…definitely not how they appear in promotional posts. Very disappointing and underwhelming. Ridiculously small portions for the price - can actually make better at home. Won’t be back.

Anniversary meal with my wife and was top class. The staff went above and beyond and great service. I ordered the steak it was cooked to perfection, I find it difficult to get my steak cooked medium, but the tipsy cow nailed it, defo will return keep up the great work see yous soon

Went here on 7 April for my grandson's birthday. Four out of six ordered starters. Two starters came but then we noticed the same other two starters were delivered to the table behind us who had come in ages after us. This was pointed out to the manager who said he would "comp" the 2 starters. (One was for the birthday boy who, being a teenager was starving). The rest of the meal arrived without any problem and was enjoyed by all. However, when the bill arrived only 10% had been deducted for the " complimentary starters". This amounted to less than £2! A very disappointing outcome.

Good atmosphere, good food and excellent friendly service

Went here with my family for diner, and the food is outstanding! I had the haggis bon bons to start, they were out of this world 😋 then had Chicken milenese for main course,it was to die for. Staff very friendly and attentive. All in all beautiful place to come with your family or friends, we can't wait to return.

Mother's Day breakfast was delicious, smoked salmon and beautifully poached eggs on a toasted muffin and best coffee I've had for a while. Thanks family.

Visited with my partner celebrating a special occasion, and the quality of the food was again exceptional.This was our 3rd visit and i have made a different selection each time and all my meals have been first class .

Had to wait at least 15 mins to order drinks after arriving at our table. Another long wait for drinks to arrive. Steak wasn’t cooked correctly so sat with my food in front of me untouched but no server came to check if everything was ok. Once I got the attention of the server she took the food away came back with the same food and argued with me that it was correct. Rude, slow, inattentive. Menus and glasses dirty. Avoid at all costs.

All great apart from the size of americano coffee, asked for a large one and came with the smallest cup they change it to a different colour cup with very little different, said they did mugs but they were for hot chocolate! not the best of customer service when asking for a large coffee. Would have given 5 stars if the coffee request was better

Food was lovely but the place was absolutely freezing my friend had to put her coat on before finishing meal & staff not very pleasant ignored us when we were trying to get their attention to ask about menu at least 3 times & brought wrong drink & dessert

Slow service when ordering drink, but it was only table service so understandable. Food tasty, great starters but main course of fish and chips was only half a fish. Disappointed with that.

This is by far the best lunch we have had since lockdown eased. Been to Big Owens and the Tudor and The Tispy Cow beats them completely, far classier plate of food and the service was amazing. Really pleasant and friendly staff. We had the haggis parcel and the spicy prawns for starter and the Mrs then had the black pudding n bacon salad. I had the chicken Milanese. The food was so good we swapped plates on each serving several times to get another taste of each other’s. We finished it off with an excellent skinny flat white coffee. Thank you for a lovely lunch, and being in my birthday as well, I couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks again guys. Well done!

Took advantage of 10% NHS discount for a meal out tonight with friends. Lovely setting for drinks/cocktails with friends but the food and service was extremely poor. Me and my friend had the hanging kebab. The chicken was very dry and tough and tasted as though it was deep fried. Very tough meat The bread was tough and also had the taste of deep fried grease. My other friend ordered a jug of water which was never delivered despite being requested several times. Quality of food very poor and will certainly not return for reasons mentioned.

Visited for dinner. Had steak pie which was tasty ordered with fries got chips. Dessert was bland 2 separate waiting staff told me the cheesecake was vanilla and strawberry. There was no strawberry it was plain vanilla. Service speed was ok for amount of tables.staff friendly.

Spent my friends bday in here food wonderful . Great atmosphere and service . Brought her cake out (we provided) and played happy birthday. A wonderful night . Definitely be back

Such a lovely place to catch up with friends.We all had the set menu which had excellent choice and good value for money.Staff were very attentive and friendly. I had visited previously for breakfast and was equally happy with the dinner. Would happily return!

When we arrived I was told by the person in charge that my reservation was for 2 people and I had booked table for 4. He wasn’t helpful and was not going to try and fit us in until I suggested he move 2 people from a large table to my booked table and we could then have the large table. It was clear to me he was inexperienced and would have allowed us to leave without trying to give us a table- when it wasn’t my fault their reservation system was wrong. Apart from that the staff were friendly and the food was good too. The atmosphere was also great. I can’t overlook the poor initial impression that the guy in charge gave me though and he didn’t apologise or give a discount on the bill

Just had lunch with my wife and 2 kids, food was absolutely fantastic, delicious,well cooked and stunning to look at, had chicken wings with hot sauce and haggis bon bons to start, magic! Had the salt and chilli chicken curry main, my wife asked to have prawns instead of chicken which wasn't an issue, I must say it was by far the best food I have eaten in a restaurant! Tastebuds are still tingling, decor is so classy, staff were very friendly and attentive, also reasonably priced, cant wait to come back for more!!

It's been a wee while since my friends and I visited but just as before we had excellent service and great food. The gravy with the steak pie was delicious, puff pastry lovely texture and meat great too, and the carrots were excellent too, boiled until they were soft and very tasty. Parsnips and broccoli were lovely. many thanks to the staff who were very attentive and very friendly. One of my friends had the turkey and he said it was lovely with a very tasty sauce. Top marks to you all. It won't be too long before we will be back.

Not a massive menue, but well rounded, had a number of dishes over the last few months, favourite is the pollo carbonara,extremely well cooked and tasty. A must is the hand cooked chips to accompany any dish, superb. Ambience and atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, shall be returning.

You're going to hear that said to you a lot in the tipsy cow.First, the good points:- pleasant wee place - the serving staff are niceThe negatives- service is SLOW. From arrival to getting our first drink (table of 6) - which we had to chase down staff to ask - was 45 minutes.- plates for the table are brought out randomly. I received my dinner and my partner recieved her fajitas chicken (not sizzling as advertised. 'Warm' would have been a more accurate description). 6 minutes later, the rest of the table were given their food. Awkward.- food was below average. As mentioned, fajitas weren't sizzling. The 2 large breads given with the fajitas were stone cold. The steak in the steak pie was super salty. Cant really speak for everyone else, but noone was enthusing. Overall, just disappointing.- Drink service brutally slow. In 2 1/2 hours of being in the restaurant, we managed 2 drinks each. None of which were offered, both rounds had to be chased.Overall, you'll likely come out thinking you won't return, and that's a pity. It's a nice wee environment and the servers are nice, but likely poorly trained/organised. Getting service right really isnt difficult...and coupling that with lazy timings and effort on the food, well...that's a business killer. It was a Saturday night, and whilst it was relatively busy, there were a number of empty tables. Not a good sign.Sincerely hope they can sort these finer details.
