Friendly, helpful staff and a huge choice of books 📚

Absolutely amazing redesign. Everything is looking lovely, and when I was there I felt very comfortable and chill.

The Motherwell Library is a huge place filled with books and I loved that upstairs there were computers that you could use and they have a lot of classes so you can learn how to use them. I do feel the toilets here need to be fixed p because it's very small and don't feel safe, especially with the locks never quite closing properly. The staff here are lovely and there's plenty of places to sit and relax while reading.

Motherwell Library is funded by the great Scottish American Billionaire Andrew Carnegi, like many others around the world. Nice spacious library with lots of books and facilities, especially for kids. It is a goto place in Motherwell and can spend some quality time. Staff are well trained and helpful.

Motherwell Library is in the heart of Motherwell Town centre. If you love your books, then look no further. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the library offers a variety of activities for the public such as Bookbug for the little ones and craft activies for those looking to expand their talents. The library has recently been refurbished also as you can see from the photos attached. Motherwell Library is open as follows: Mon- 9-7 Tue- 9-5 Wed- 9-5 Thurs- 9-7 Fri- 9-5 Sat- 10-5

Was here for the bus stop, not the library library. Nice bus stop, pretty close and accessible from shopping centre, train station, banks and cash machines, Aldi & ASDA within 6 minutes walk. Will add pictures when next I visit, especially of the library and the engraved writing that captures the beautiful history of the place being a former Roman highway. Edit: Picture now added.

First time visiting Motherwell library, from the minute I walk through the door the staff were lovely, helped with what I needed done in minutes, lovely curtious and friendly staff, look forward to my next visit

A lovely little friendly cafe while it lasted but unfortunately is no more, probably due to council s.n.p. (mob), cutbacks as well as the library itself now closing earlier, as before this library would stay open until 7.00 p.m.

Lot of books, movies, games, access to PC

A really lovely library. It's really big and spacious. You can easily spend a few hours there. There is also a cafe and free wifi. It's open til 7pm on most nights as well so that's great too. A really great place to go if you're bored or the kids are bored.

A very nice place, a lot of books for children, youth and the elderly. For sure you can find a place to spend a nice time for children and for the older ones. A wide range, you can find not only books, but also movies on CDs and TV games on xbox or ps3, ps4 ... I recommend. 😀📖📗📘📙

Staff could not have been more helpful or pleasent when my 8yo joined this summer. I hope he stays as in love with books as he is just now. A great space, big airy & clean.

Everything about the cafe is average from the choice of food to the staff. Badly needs a change of menu as there are very few choices. Staff are ok and happy to serve customers.

Visite la biblioteca café en al menos dos veces por semana y sobre la mayoría de estas encontrar el ambiente es muy relajante. El personal es amable y les he oído que ofrecen consejos sobre la comida y la bebida opciones y he notado que les asiste regularmente algunos ancianos o personas discapacitadas a su mesa. Lo que me recuerda que más de una cafetería de estilo de comunidad que yo prefiero el modelo comercial, es decir Starbucks, la cafetería Nero, etc. El café es bueno y los aperitivos, aunque algo limitada, son de una calidad aceptable. Vale la pena mencionar que eventos dentro de la biblioteca puede en ocasiones se extienden la capacidad de los recursos de personal para proporcionar un veloz servicio.

preguntarle a mi hijo de 10 años donde quiere ir a la hora del almuerzo y cada vez responde, "sopa y un rollo en la cafetería de biblioteca". (Que, por suerte, es una opción mucho más saludable que McD's o KFC). Así, que es donde fuimos de nuevo hoy. Hemos estado en innumerables veces a lo largo de los años y siempre disfrutamos de nuestro almuerzo. No está mal, no es una gran cafetería y está en el medio de la biblioteca pero no me puedo quejar de la comida y el servicio es siempre con una sonrisa. Mi única queja es que la sopa vende rápidamente y si no estás en lo suficientemente temprano te puedes perder.

It could be nice but it was very noisy. In the middle of a busy library. No privacy. People gawping at every mouthful as they browsed books. Remember the caafe at Borders or even Waterstones - much better models.

The food choice for lunch could be alot better more variety as it's rather limited but staff are very friendly and always willing to help.the prices are reasonable and it's a very nice atmosphere. I'll be back.

Motherwell no tiene una tienda adecuada de café, así que Kuppas Cafe sirve como la mejor alternativa. Los precios son razonables y la calidad del café es sorprendentemente bueno. El sandwich de ensalada de queso me llevó a días del colegio, en el buen sentido. La biblioteca es un entorno ideal para una tienda de café, hay un buen ambiente, pero nunca se pone excepcionalmente ruidoso. El principal problema con el lugar es el irregular servicio al cliente.La señora mayor que trabaja allí es encantador, amable y acogedora, de hecho un crédito para el brazo's -cuerpo entero del consejo que corre la operación. El personal más joven, cuando me he encontrado con ellos, al menos, parecen tener cosas más importantes que preocupan, tales como salir del lugar como mucho antes de que los 3 o'clock del cierre, ya que puedo manejar. Y eso quiere decir que si te apareció desde cualquier momento 2 pm en adelante, estás de alguna manera incomodando ellos.Venga en la cultura NL, conseguir su actuar juntos!

Yo uso Motherwell Biblioteca mucho y el primer sábado del mes voy allí para un club del libro. El café que se supone que sirven la biblioteca nunca está abierto. En un sábado por la tarde la biblioteca suele ser bastante ocupado en un sábado por la tarde, pero el personal de la cafetería han decidido que no quieren ser abierto. un sábado, antes decidieron no abrir, un amigo y yo fuimos a 13:45 a pedir una taza de café y nos dijeron que no tenían ningún tazas limpias y no se podía servirnos!!! En la parte superior de la máquina de café era una pila de tazas. No me sorprende la cafetería cerradas si que era la gente de servicio nos ofrecía. pobre espectáculo franquiciados. que hubiera al menos diez clientes sobre una base regular si sólo había horario decentes y un personal amable.

Nice quiet atmosphere with good food and coffee. Let down by unfriendly staff, who certainly don't seem the happiest or most friendly.
