The best restaurants serving British food in Scotland

Terrible breakfast! I've been twice. Had avocado and bacon the first time. Part of the avocado was brown and past the sell by date. Bacon seemed undercooked and uncrispy. Today I had scrambled eggs on toast. Toast was unbuttered so very dry!

Didn't eat here, but probably should have since I failed to eat at all that evening! The atmosphere was nice, although the music a touch loud.

Food wasn't the greatest prawn platter could have more prawns and bit more flavour chips and onion rings undercooked and soggy mac and burger was nice always loved the place aswell

Recently stayed at the hotel before attending a business meeting the next day. Happy with my stay, the staff were friendly. The room was perfect for my requirements & was very quiet. I left my watch at the hotel and they called to let me know & kept it safe until i could get back later in the day to collect. Would stay again.

Went as a group with paid entertainment., which was fantastic and very Scottish. Food was as described 😋. Service was terrific.

Fish and chips (and ships) from Beatrice's (Valente's) is a tradition handed down the generations in our family. My fish of choice is Icelandic (boneless) haddock - fried to perfection as I wait and served with tasty chips, a slice of lemon, salt and vinegar. 'But what about the ships?' I hear you say. After grabbing your bounty and bidding the staff farewell, take the quick drive down to Seafield Beach. You can park, take in the sea air, and enjoy your food while gazing at the ships peppering the horizon - taking a postprandial stroll along the shore if you see fit. Watch out for the seagulls though - they also appreciate Beatrice's delights.

Always a good vibe in the pub. Food arrived promptly as usual. Staff very friendly and nothings too much to ask for.

Always lovely fresh food from here. You have to wait a little as is cooked to order.

You will be well looked after here in a beautiful location with everything you need in well equipped, beautifully furnished accommodation. Second time we've stayed here and it was just as good as we remembered the first time.

Had heard mixed reviews about slow service but we didn't experience any issues. Both of our servers were pleasant, had good banter and efficient. Great place, lovely food and atmosphere. Will be back. Thanks 😍
