Nice little cafe with a good range of cakes and meals. The staff were friendly, the service was good and there was a nice relaxed feel to the place. So much better than one of the 'Chain' coffee shops

Fantastic place to stay, superb staff, service and hospitality. An excellent venue and would suit any wedding perfectly.

I would like to have written a positive review but having both called and emailed to enquire if they have wheelchair access and an accessible toilet I have had no response and will book elsewhere. I can only assume that they do not or they do not want my custom. Very poor.

We are regulars at the pub and have always had good meals. On Saturday however we ordered two home made chilli's with Nacho sides. The chilli's that came had very little if no meat in and also contained baked beans. My wife can't eat them and having had the chilli before on numerous occasions was surprised to find baked beans in it as it is not mentioned in the description. Very disappointing experience on this occasion and left the pub without eating the food.

Such a lovely place to eat. Haven't been here before, will definitely be coming again. Food was lovely.

An excellent breakfast with attentive service to match. I've visited several times and never been disappointed. plenty of entertainment from the airfield too.

Visited with friends for afternoon tea. The service was amazing, food excellent, and the surroundings just beautiful. We had a little walk around the gardens, and the owners were so polite and chatty, definitely recommend

This used to be the best fish n chips shop by far and I used to travel from Bromley. Tonight on my return home without my knowledge I had been given French fries instead of traditional chips that used to be served/ not sure if this is a one off due to supplier issues or if this is something new that has been introduced without telling their long standing customers- I for one will not be returning.

Such a lovely place to be. They snuck us in and couldn’t have been more helpful. Delicious food, very reasonable. Would definitely come again and glad we happened upon this place!

Excellent Sunday lunch - third time we’ve been now and cannot recommend highly enough. Fabulous food, excellent setting and the staff are great! Will be back again!!

Fantastic spot for Sunday lunch. As many locals know! Worth booking in advance!!

None of us could fault the food but the service was poor. We had a table booked for 6.30 but had no confirmation so I rang just to check and was told yes the booking OK. We got there slightly early but it took ages to even have someone take our order. In fact a couple whos reservation was for later than ours had their order taken and had finished their meal before our order had even been taken. It then took over 30 mins to arrive. It looked like there was one chap doing everything. We would go back purely to see if the service was a one off but if it happened again even the excellent food wouldn't entice us there.

Date of visit: 09.05.2025 The large number of customers served and the difficulty of finding a free seat after 10 o'clock speak for themselves. Our two-hour stay (we were waiting for a car window to be replaced) allowed us to observe the popularity of this place, especially among the local workers. The most popular order is the English breakfast and French fries. From our observation, I can say that the cakes on the display are freshly added piece by piece. Very efficient and polite customer service. Photos of empty cafe are taken just before closing during our second stay(~14:50).
