Upper Deck never dissappoints. Thanks to the chefs. Fabulous roast dinner today for 20 of us. Lovely cheerful staff Joey and Ben.

Was there for Falmouth shark festival presentation evening staff all very pleasant but dam they know how to charge for a pint

Enjoyed a delicious roast lamb dinner. Veg was so good I even ate the cauliflower cheese which I usually hate. Great views over the marina. Friendly staff, especially Joey who was attending us.

We had our anniversary meal here and had a lovely evening. We had the crispy squid to start then the surf and turf special which was superb! It has a lovely view of the harbour and is dog friendly

We ate from the tapas menu and found it very average. Very basic salad with no dressing and soggy batter on the squid and fish. Service varied. A young man who seemed indifferent and bored but a young woman who was engaged.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We really enjoyed ourselves and they were very accommodating when we changed the time of our booking.

my parents live not far from falmouth and while down visiting them for a summer break, we thought be nice to eat out one evening and try somewhere new. after seeing good reviews on tripadvisor, we thought we'd give Upper Deck a try! we got a warm welcome on arrival and shown to our table which was next to the window, we could enjoy the views out onto the marina the menu had plenty to choose from and we opted for starters and mains. all the dishes were nicely presented and tasted great! we didnt have pudding as were too full! the staff who looked after us that evening were all friendly and helpful another good point is that there is a good sized car park you can use and if you're eating at the restaurant you get a few hours of free parking, which is good! so overall, lovely evening with great service and food. we all agreed we'd return again.

Great bands ..saw The All Day Breakfast Band.

We went as as family group. We had a great position overlooking the marina. They asp have an outside deck. The menu is not extensive but adequately caters for all tastes and everyone thoroughly enjoyed what they chose! Nearly a first! The service was friendly and attentive. Being just out of town with it's own parking worked well for us

We visited yesterday to celebrate our son's graduation. It was the perfect end to a wonderful day. Our waiter was amazing and extremely knowledgeable about the produce and alcohol and where it had come from (locally). Service was quick, food was piping hot and extremely delicious. Best fish and chips my husband and daughter in law has ever had. I had a pizza which was divine and my son had a steak cooked to perfection. The salsa Verde peas were a great hit and will try to be created at home! All in all a fantastic experience and one that will be repeated regularly. Fabulous views!!

Dull atmosphere but food and beer was very good.

Great atmosphere in the restaurant. Luckily we happened to book on a night that they had live music on which started at 9pm after we finished our meal. Staff were very efficient and friendly - made a real fuss of our dog and had time to chat with us. Good variety of food, I had sole, husband fish goujons and my daughter had a pizza. We all really enjoyed our meals. A great start to our holiday. Definitely recommend.

Great service by Tash and Joey. Stopped in about 230 looking for lunch. Service was very good. Food was excellent we enjoyed the fish taco, calamari, chicken or the egg Kiev and mussels. Lovely marina setting!

This place is a little out of the way from activities in Falmouth. Very pleased we stopped to eat here. There's a view over the harbour . The staff were so nice and welcoming and food arrived quickly. We chose 3 small plates each and side of fries - and the portions were great . Food was really tasty. Fish taco the favourite but everything was good and well presented. I'd go there again - however, partner didn't find the choice of beers acceptable (no cask ale).

The steak was delicious and excellent! The peppercorn sauce was about the tastiest I have had. And the service was exemplary! A very enjoyable dinner indeed!

Lovely location and the fact the pay for your parking is a big plus. However, the large bowl of mussels were outstanding in a wonderful white sauce. Could have used another slice of bread but that don’t affect its score! Great place

Great views, dog friendly, staff polite and welcoming, the food is excellent, well presented and reasonably priced. Good choice of drinks and quite good on price for the Falmouth area. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Very clean and great access for the disabled. The mussels are out of this world. The best I have ever tasted

We had a nice meal here. My husband had the Pontoon pizza and I had the sea bass. It is dog friendly which was good. Also a few tables have a view of the Penryn River and we were lucky to get a window seat.

Absolutely excellent food. Sadly serveal items were sold out by the time we got there (8pm). Shows how good said items are. Great service and food. Best in the area

We came to upper deck for Valentine’s Day and it was so lovely!! The food was gorgeous and me and my partner were over the moon, especially with the service! Robyn was an absolute delight and catered to us in such a warm friendly manner. As a young couple, we couldn’t really afford the luxurious Valentines menu (which looked amazing) so he was more than happy to let us order from the usual A La carte menu. Thank you for making our Valentine’s Day that extra bit special!

The nachos were fantastic!! Love the fact that it was more like toasted fajitas than corn chips... It absorbed the spicy beef chili and sauces much better but we're still crunchy! Washed it down with a fragrant light local ale.

Went for the Sunday roast (had the braised lamb shoulder) - by far the tastiest Sunday roast I have had. It was superb! however, I just wish they gave more meat! Only a few pieces which was disappointing. Ordered the chocolate chess pie for dessert and for £8 it was a tiny slice which was also disappointing. Service was excellent and atmosphere was lovely but just wish the portion sizes were in line with what you pay. Would definitely come back though.

Great place with great view and food. Really enjoyed the seafood dishes and sitting up looking over the yachts and port. I can only give the food 4 star because I'm no foodie and you always gotta have something to strive for! ^^

We had a lovely dinner as a table of 14 on Monday; the service and food were excellent. A big thank you to Will and his team for their patience also. We were a large table who pre-ordered but did not all arrive in time for the 6pm reservation. Will was friendly and professional in approaching this, as there were other tables in / booked which could have caused service issues if all our guests didn’t arrive soon. Having been on the other side of this problem before, he and his team dealt with it exceptionally. The whole team smiled and welcomed us as we arrived too which was nice - it just felt like a fantastic team who were all excellent at customer service. Many thanks to you all!

We were staying nearby, so the UD was very handy. It's a nice location, with great food and drink, and friendly service (thanks Will). We'll always visit when we are staying in Falmouth.

Quick Coffee, great service and venue

A lovely lunchtime spot in the sun overlooking the docks. Staff were really friendly and the food was excellent! We had fresh delicious, mussels and a pizza which were great value for money too!

Wonderful meal on our 10th wedding anniversary. We especially liked Sam’s cooking - the tapas mussels, lamb croutons, salad and mackerel with beetroot. Mains too highly recommended - seafood stew and the mackerel. The dhal and lentils were very tasty. Excellent service by all and cocktails (2 for £15) were great. Love affogato now too. Thanks.

Sunday roast is fantastic here. Contemporary, with bits of stuff smeared about the plate here and there, but very very nice.

Regular customer and whilst I would like to keep it our secret it is probably only fair to say; excellent attentive service, wide selection of beer, wine, spirits, and lovely menu with daily specials...all with views of the marina and Fal River. Highly recommend.

Well what a superb meal, we experienced the most excellent Sunday roast that I personally have ever tasted (Sorry Mother Dear) the lamb and Beef being a succulent cut, the roast potatoes were a triumph, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. All the vegetable accompliments were cooked to perfection. Oh! And the staff were great too..a special mention of dear Megan; our server who had to put up with my weird humour, they were in fact also superb and attentive at every stage. Would I recommend the upper deck?? Most certainly, do not miss this gourmet delight.

Lovely Sunday roast extremely filling

Don’t let the exterior building put you off! Lovely stylish restaurant inside, with brilliant views of the marina! I wouldn’t have known from the exterior that there was a lovely restaurant inside, if it wasn’t for Google reviews! Food was delicious and fresh, staff were really friendly and great service. Definitely recommend!

Lovely restaurant. Staff were friendly. A small menu was offered on a Sunday. Lovely roast dinner. My partner booked and said on the booking that it was my birthday. However there was no mention of it or anything to wish me a happy birthday which was a shame as it would have made it more special.

Un unfortunate night for me and my family. The appetizers were served way before the drinks. Had to go to the bar and ask where the drinks were and got asked what I had ordered... One of the side dishes never arrived to the table. Asked for small portion of mussels and a large one got served a large one. Good quality of food.

Lovely spot. Can't understand why it doesn't have a higher rating. Really super food and reasonable prices, nice vibe and attentive staff. Room for improvement with wine list for those into their wines but their spirits and draught list is plentiful. A consitently great place for a delicious meal.

What a find, excellent restaurant overlooking the marina with an interesting and wonderful menu Our waitress was Annie who's customer service was impeccable. Friendly, attentive and ensuring the restaurant met our requirements. The food was superb, from quality of ingredients, to the presentation on the plate. We be will be back.

As a regular who sails from the marina, I have visited this place a lot and have never been disappointed.

Expensive pub food but we'll done Tbf with a limited choice for vegetarians or vegans. Service was tiptop though

A marina bar that has lost its ways ! Extremely sad to see all the history from sailors all over the world made thier stamp had been removed. No longer can someone with a boat come to the bar an unwind with a pint and chew the fat with other sailors. Food and drink stupidly over priced with no atmosphere. They would have alot more custom if they listened. The change has drove alot of us away.

The staff were absolutely lovely, no complaints there. But as a vegetarian (I went with a group), I had few options and had to go with the pizza. Unfortunately it was a strange texture, didn't have any real flavour or sauce, the cheese was poor and the pizza base itself had me checking that it was fully cooked. It was unfortunately a very bad meal. I hate to leave negative reviews, but for so few vegetarian options it's important to nail it and the pizza cost £12. I would recommend the service, but I can't the pizza at least.

Great place. Friendly staff and environment. Don't for get park and pay. Marina very close so ideal if you passing on a boat. Worth a visit and close to amenities.

I visited with friends whilst visiting Falmouth and was really impressed. The food is fresh, beautifully cooked and well-priced; my friend remarked that the vegan cauliflower dish was particularly good. The staff were wonderful and made us feel really welcome.

Absolutely fantastic, steak was amazing , seasoned, cooked and rested to perfection, the staff were great, really friendly and genuine. 1st time we have been down for a couple of years, but after tonight we will be back again soon!!

I really like this place. The food is consistently good, the service is excellent and it's easy to get to and park.

Pizza not cooked, chicken overcooked and chips that tasted like oil. All after an hour and a half wait for food. Will not return worst experience.

A lovely final meal for our week down in Cornwall. The service was fantastic, Em was wonderful and friendly. Food was delicious, including plenty of vegetarian options for me (the tacos were yum!) Will definitely be back when I return to beautiful Falmouth!

Missing being able to go to lunch at this lovely restaurant, so much so I am writing this review 3 months after my last visit!! The food and service here is so good that I cannot wait for them to reopen (COVID permitting). The restaurant has an awesome menu and a relaxed feel, if you are lucky you may get a table on the deck overlooking the marina which on a sunny warm day I’d delightful

I have visited this Restaurant and Bar on many occasions, My last visit yesterday just proves this place shines through as a fantastic venue even in these difficult times. The waiting staff were very friendly and Knowledgeable about the specials and menu choices. I chose the Chowder as I am a seafood lover, and was not disappointed. The portion was perfect with large pieces of fish, lots of muscles and clams all served in a rich creamy sauce, which is where the fresh crusty bread came in handy.My Wife had the spicy tomato soup which was also accompanied by the crusty bread.We also tested the Cocktail and desert menu.Due to the covid restrictions there is an efficient one way system which does not impact one the dining experience at all.I would highly recommend a visit to this Restaurant.

Visited twice in October. Both times both the food and the service were very good. Tables well spaced so felt safe and comfortable. Children’s portions are generous and the food as good as the adult versions, which is always welcome!

Great place to come just for a coffee or glass of wine, but also really good food. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Clean and pleasant environment and a stunning view out over the marina. Fabulous place to be, even o a wet Friday afternoon.

We came here on a busy Friday night, my partner and I shared a small portion of mussels to start - I usually have a high standard for these and can safely say the sauce they were cooked in was absolutely divine. The catch of the day which was sole was delicious and we had a huge portion each! Value for money and our waitress Immy was a delight, she always had a smile on her face!

A pleasant venue with easy parking between Falmouth and Penryn. We were greeted by the friendly staff with all the current regulations working well. The menu had a sensible range and the mains initially looked limited but we're actually very interesting. We had the 'Catch of the day' and shared a salad from the sides menu. I can't remember a more interesting meal! Well done to the chef, and the rest of the staff for making a special occasion memorable.

Absolutely amazing staff and service. Location is literally on the water. Food is gorgeous and not overpriced for its taste and location. Even the chef did me a huge favour that I requested. Ale is good too. Love this place. And it's dog friendly!!!
