The best restaurants serving British food in England

Been coming here for a couple of years now. Think its time to change menu though. Bored with this one now. And whats happened to the prices 😳 Very average food, Small portions. With huge prices. My sister thought i was joking when i told her the price of a small 2 portion flatbread, with cheese. At £9 a time, for something you can buy for 50p in local shop, is truly ridiculous !! . Shocking prices !Wont be back anytime soon., unless they change menu and reduce some of the prices. There are far better places in the vicinity, without the crazy prices.

Fabulous pub. Great food - especially the Sunday lunch. Excellent service from staff and a well kept fire in the winter. Really nice and hard working chef. Dog friendly too. What’s not to like 🤷‍♂️

Amazing place to take the weight off your feet, relax and have something to eat, the food is really good with refreshing drinks of choice and to sit and watch the river while life goes by is bliss. 😉👍

Comida muy decepcionante. Tenía la ciabatta del rey que tenía una pequeña salchicha, una rodaja de tocino, una cantidad muy pequeña de queso y un hachís marrón grasiento. Sin embargo, el servicio fue muy bueno. El personal es amable y servicial. Qué pena lo de la comida

Stayed a few nights. Rooms are tired and outdated! Tv didn’t work due to terrible reception. Not a warm and fuzzy place! Okay at a pinch if you can’t find anything else! No one to talk to if you need anything!! Access to room awkward with suitcases!! Definitely wouldn’t recommend this Hotel

We were staying in a hotel 10mins away from this beautiful pub. Super duper dog friendly and amazing lovely warm staff! Food absolutely incredible and tasty. Honestly couldn’t fault this pub and would highly recommend if in the area! One of the nicest pubs I’ve been to in a while, they’re doing everything right!

After reading reviews on this cafe, breakfast was needed, so today I drove for an hour breakfast was ordered, Sarah's special, fantastic, eggs, salmon, fresh and tasty. Coffee and great service. Quiet because of virus, but when you have worded all week I just had to make a visit. People phone to book. After a couple of yrs, the impression this little cafe has left on my memory is very good.

Come for friends birthday/leaving drinks. Wonderful Friday afternoon. We ordered through the app, service was quick. Shared lots of small plates between us which were great. Ended up staying for karaoke which was really fun!

Absolutely fantastic experience on the gorgeous East Yorkshire Coast. Ice cream is wonderful with so much choice of flavours but plenty for those (weird) people that don't like ice-cream. Fabulous walk to the beach from the cafe, and if you want to camp or caravan their is that option too at the site.

What a find! Best Goats cheese salad, lots of cheese and Avocado-absolutely delicious beautifully presented. My husband had fried Halloumi & Siracha Sourdough -delicious. Great coffee and Lemon Verbena Tea outside in Sunshine -bliss !

Reasonable price, dog friendly but everyone had a coat on because it was so cold inside

Siempre me gusta visitar este encantador pub en las afueras de Giggleswick. Esta noche, pedí una hamburguesa a Gammon y a mi hijo. Ambos estaban muy bien hechos, seguido de un postre de pastel de chocolate caliente. Delicioso. El servicio era bueno y muy amable, como era de esperar de este cuello del bosque. Volveremos en tres meses para otro regalo!
