Beautifully yummy ice cream, sadly not impressed with kids meal, one slice of bread used so not even a full sandwich. Finger fruit was not fruit it was salad and had to ask for the drink that was not given when meal was brought to the table. Service from staff was not great to even more fairly said was rude. Please may I ask how do you order food and coffee when you are on your own with a young child at busy times and provide a table number. It's just a little difficult to say the least. Will be returning to see if it just was may be a one off. The coffee may I add that I received was half a cup full which is rather disappointing as well. It was a black coffee that was ordered as well to clarify.

We went for a walk to the beach first then walked back up for an ice cream! Served quickly and staff were lovely and polite. Ice creams are great

Fabulous find! Serves ‘standard’ different flavoured ice creams in cornets and a selection of other ice cream laden dishes to die for! Excellent traditional English breakfast too. Helpful, friendly staff & dog friendly (outside only). There is a campsite on the grounds but non residents can access the pathway to the beach which is well worth it (20 min walk approx). The beach is amazingly quiet & you could walk for miles without seeing a soul.

Perfect Ice-cream & cafe indoors or out &dog friendly areas. Perfect Ice-cream sundae & friendly staff. Only negative would be indoors seats are a bit uncomfortable. Will return

Stayed at the caravan site for may bank holiday weekend very clean site pitches are well spaced and quiet but had to much of that delicious ice cream

We love this place for a nice relaxed lunch or just grabbing an ice cream depending on our mood ( they cater for both ) . Out of season it is quite quiet and during the summer it does get busy but still well worth a visit !! There is loads of choice of flavours of ice creams if you just want a quick treat , and plenty on offer for those who want a more substantial snack. I’m gluten intolerant and they really are on the ball with regards to food allergens, all the ice creams are fully labelled and they will go into the back and ensure they get your ice cream from an uncontaminated tub for you !! Not many places offer this !! I can also recommend their toasted Brie and caramelised onion marmalade sandwich in gluten free bread it’s yummy !! Definitely recommend a visit!!

Visited on Easter Monday having never been before. It was quiet as nearing the end of the day. The cafe was dirty and felt grubby; the floor, the tables, the menus. We had an ice cream, it was OK. We don’t live too far away but I definitely won’t be going back.

Who can resist the ice cream from here....certainly not me! Especially some of their more unique flavours - today orange marmalade. And I restricted it to just 1 scoop, which was because I was still full from lunch. In reality I had popped in for a couple tubs for our freezer, and was lucky to get mint choc chip (which is white) and pistachio. So worth it! Even in early Spring! Staff were friendly and as usual, the restaurant was clean and tidy. 

Not lots of places for a cycling coffee stop in this neck of the woods but Mr Moo’s is a godsend! Good coffee from Hull. A range of tasty-looking snacks for a bite or maybe lunch. Competitive prices & great friendly service. Open every day. Super!

Best ice cream I've ever had, the cherry was full of flavour and plenty of cherries my hubby had orange marmalade topped with Christmas pudding flavour he said wow really good, would we go again YES.

Located on Hornsea Road, Skipsea this cafe and ice cream parlour has plenty of free parking, indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfasts are served until 11.30am and the Mighty Moo Breakfast was superb. Our grandson really enjoyed his burger which came with chips, salad and coleslaw.

How hard can it be to make a coffee? What a joke. Called in today and the place was almost empty, in fact there were more staff than customers. After waiting 20 mins for a coffee I lost the will to live and walked out. Somebody needs to get a grip and shake this place up.

We visited mr moo’s with my 3 year old as I used to go when I was little. Upon arriving we was greeted to a lovely clean cafe and was served very promptly by the staff member we ordered a mini moo which was £7 in a fancy pumpkin mug I thought this was pricy especially as when it came I had chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla the lad who came over instead we had ordered chocolate showing us the receipt it felt like we were lying and that we were liars he then came over and reluctantly said they’d make another. The amount of ice cream in the tub wasn’t no we’re near enough for he price of £7 but the ice cream was nice just felt we were paying for the bowl and not the ice cream we would probably come again but order just a cone

I really enjoyed My perfect Lunch Jacket Potato with Baked Beans and Salad. My Nana and I also really enjoyed our Chocolate Cowpat Ice-creams, My Mum and Dad enjoyed their various Ice-cream Deserts, too! My Family also enjoyed their Jacket Potatoes with their various separate toppings i.e. Baked Beans Beans/Tuna and Salad, as well! All the Staff were very great, imparticular Ellen Sherman! My Family and I will be visiting again very soon, too!

This is a popular place and we queued a long time but it was well worth it. There is a large selection of ice creams and sundaes all high quality and tasty. It wasn't cheap and cheerful but this was a treat and the quality was worth the cost. Very enjoyable. There are loads of parking spaces, an indoor cafe area, take out service windows and a marquee with picnic benches. It's a professional and well run operation

The ice cream parlour was perfect. Loved it. Staff were lovely and we were staying at the campsite so it was lovely and convenient to take advantage of the delicious treats. Now, onto the campsite. It was awful, the couple who managed the site were, at best, nosey and rude. As custodians of the site I would have hoped they would spend as long on cleaning as he did on talking. The toilets were musty and covered I'm bugs and cobwebs. Not what you expect for the money we paid. We had a power cut and he didn't even have the courtesy to tell us about it, nor when it was restored. Won't return to camp there again!

Not enough staff, waiting 30 mins is unacceptable. There is the capacity to serve more people and quicker but only two serving hatches were operating.

Very glad we found this place our sat nav sent us wrong and we nearly never found it our bank balance is not as thankfully haha, really nice ice cream we came back twice while we was on holiday definitely recommend the pistachio, chocolate and raspberry ones they where the ones we enjoyed most.

The outside area is absolutely alive with germs , mouldy chewing gum stuck in between the slats of the table along with garden debris, the tables looked germ ridden and absolutely unsuitable to eat on !! The patio area is questionable as to if it’s ever been cleaned or swept in a season!! The ice cream thrives on its excellent reputation but unfortunately the sitting area outside is letting it down badly ,disrespecting customers by allowing the area to become so badly maintained is insulting and offensive to the people mr moo is serving. A suggestion is to possibly cover the tables with a plastic covering , at least that would address some of the issues , and the very least expected is a clean surface to eat from.

Yummy ice cream with lots of great flavours; I had orange marmalade, cherry and white choc as it was impossible to pick just one! The lunch portions were a good size and good value and there is a lovely 20 minute 1km walk down to the beach to work off the ice cream.

We were on a grass pitch and when the rain came down mid week the full side where our caravan was was swimming were couldn't leave the caravan for one day and the rest it was just so muddy we told the site manager who said oh yes that was it we could of been moved as lots of gravel stands available but no I would not recommend anyone using the grass pitch we were worken up with pigeon on the van which wasn't to bad just could be to others it was a nice clean site with showers and toilet very clean however no disabled showers as their are steps up to them but once inside its layed out for disabled people wet room with chair the shower needs to be held to keep it running the local Mr moos ice was busy and lovely ice not a site I would rush back to but wouldn't say never again I would get a gravel pitch next time

Lovely ice cream, reasonably priced and nice walks/nature trails on site. After you’ve had your delicious ice cream, there’s a 1km nature trail walk up to the beach. The staff are very attentive and friendly and the site is immaculate, clean and cared for. If you’ve been out and about in the area, or just enjoy nice ice cream, it’s a must stop place to visit.

Hmm not entirely sure about this. It is more of eating than visiting, exploring. There is campsite to maximum of around 30ish. A beach 20 minutes walk and can only be use by the people who camping there and only opening time of the Mr moo ice-cream. You can order foods for breakfast, lunch or snack time and you also can have delicious dessert too not just ice-cream. We were there for maxum 2 hrs as we had kids with us doing trail hunt. Well done Mr moo for 20 years anniversary opening and making those delicious ice cream. Not one of my favourite place to go but great for stop by for snack or pudding 🤪 free entry and free car park

Whole family agreed that these were the best ice creams ever. Went there every day for few scoops during our holiday. Good selection of flavours too. Strawberry was our favourite.

Popped in here after a day out in Bridlington. Weather was miserable so we sat inside. It wasn't busy as it was nearing closing time but I imagine in the sunshine this would be busy. Prices weren't overly expensive and the ice-cream is good. Very quick service with friendly staff. Lots of flavours to choose from. They also have a small food menu as well. Would definitely visit again if in the area. It was a shame it was raining as there are some lovely walks to and from the place and close to the beach.

We often go to Mr Moo’s to walk the dog, most of the time we enjoy the ice cream but today it was too cold so we decided to have a coffee with (not unusual for a dairy) CREAM. Their filter coffee is reasonable at £1.75, there are notes that de-caff is an additional 20p or Soya Milk also an additional 20p. Ok I thought, maybe they’ll charge 20p for cream instead of milk? Seems reasonable. I duly ordered 2 filter coffee with CREAM please. They’re a dairy after all so it can’t cost them more than buying in Soya milk can it? Well, imagine my shock when the attendant rang through an additional 60p each for cream!?!? HOW MUCH? I can buy a pint of cream for £1.20, and even an additional scoop of their ice cream for less! And yes I double checked the price 3 times due to my disbelief!!!I’m afraid I think this is extremely short sighted of a dairy business with an unlimited supply of their own milk, cream and ice cream.

The most deliciously creamy ice cream that we have ever tasted! Loved all the different flavour options. Will definitely come back again and try some other ones. Such a fantastic find and lovely setting too.

We have been to Mr Moo's several times since the start of the lockdown. They adapted quickly to do take aways and we have enjoyed their take away sundaes on several occasions. They have clear social distancing and one way systems in place and you get a buzzer to tell you to collect your order.Excellent range of flavours.Highly recommend the chocolate fudge experience and the cow pat.

I can definitely disagree with the reviews below about the so called 'stingy' portions. When I went I had a tub with 3 scoops and I struggled to finish it and I LOVE ice cream. There were plenty of flavours to choose from, you are spoilt for choice! But be aware that the 30 flavours advertised online might not all be available, there were 20 when I visited and it was more than enough to choose from. Definitely will be trying one of the sundaes next time! It wasn't busy when I visited, people were adhering to social distancing rules and the places to sit were well spread out.

Lovely ice cream & an even nicer walk to the beach. Would have given 5 stars if I had a proper ice cream serving rather than the child size portion that I was given. Very stingy!!

Visited many times over the last 3 weeks. The first few ice creams were lovely. However, the scoop sizes have got smaller & smaller until today they resembled a “quaver”...... a hollow scoop. Very disappointed & hope that Mr Moo’s rectify this!!

Love this place for both the kids and myself. Great little spot to visit which we do every time we are on the East coast. This place can be really busy for a lot of the year but has plenty of onsite parking and is well worth any que.

One way system in place, very well organised for ordering/collecting food. Plenty of places to sit outside, with good social distancing measures. A lovely route down to the beach from the car park, that takes about 10 minutes to walk. Perfect to bring young children, then beach is almost completely sand, so good for dogs.

Best part of our weekend. It was clean , well set out and the ice cream was lovely . The kids enjoyed it , best part as we were let down from where we were staying. Highly recommend .

An excellent venue for ICE CREAM and something to eat. Very well organised for outside eating with social distancing in place, plenty hand gel and clean toilets. The bacon sandwiches and chips were delicious and the ice cream was the best we have had for a while. Although busy, service was polite and professional. Thought we would treat ourselves to a nice ice cream after the market. Was a bit of a wait but was well organised with a one way system. A few people ignored it ,was a lovely day so sat outside . Think my grandson was very impressed . Never spoke for at least 15 minutes.

Mr Moo's is an amazing place to be especially when camping (which we were) we were sent all the relevant information before our stay and with Covid-19 check in was super easy just texting them letting them know we were there, there are EHU and none EHU points depending on your requirements and a family field too.The grounds are extremely clean and well kept and we felt very safe and secure while there.The beach is a 15 to 20 minute walk away depending on your party but my 4 year-old managed it fine just try and be aware of the tide times.The ice cream parlour itself was clean and all measures were taken to ensure that social distancing was adhered to with hand sanitiser available at different points of the parlour, yes there was a que but its to be expected with the ice cream being so nice.We are due back soon and its a good distance from Hornsea and Brid and too if youre wanting a day out but will need to drive as as far as I'm aware there is no public transport that runs past it.

Visited here during our holiday. It's a bit of a drive from anywhere but well worth it. Extensive menu and they have gluten free cones, which is something we haven't found anywhere else. My grandaughter was thrilled. It's the first cornet ice cream she's been able to have since being diagnosed as coeliac. They also do light lunches, waffles and great desserts. It was very busy and we had to park in the overflow car park, but did manage to get a table. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
