My favourite place to go for a full English breakfast. Always excellent food and great staff.

Generous and tasty breakfast my husband had the Italian eggs Benedict and I went for the regular ones . Mine were served with fried cubes potatoes which upon seeing thought a bit odd but oh my they were perfect ! And so tasty . Surprising quality and Very generous portions.

The food is always nice. No complaint’s. The staff are lovely. The lady that served me gave me hash browns on the house😅

The staff are so bloody gorgeous especially eka and marika!! I go just for them and their beautiful brown eyes

Lovely jacket potato 😋my go-to every time I’m craving it! 100% recommend buying this! Customer service is wonderful and the workers accommodated my special request of extra cheese 🤭

Great local cafe! Huge choice of meals, cooked to order. Good quality food, prepared well. Staff are very attentive especially Marika! Can thoroughly recommend the Gammon steak, jacket potatoes and omelette.

Not a bad full English, you have to ask for fried bread but nice food and well cooked , crispier bacon and better quality sausage would be my only suggestion .

The food was OK....but the girl who served was extremely rude , not at all welcoming so much so I just wanted to leave....most definitely will not be returning

So nice to have ham, egg and chips instead of a breakfast. Eggs where free range and a lovely orange colour. Spot on.

Had the Full breakfast this morning. Not sure about the green bubble. But the rest was good and the bacon was lovely as was the toast and black pudd Large enough portions to fill me up for the day. The service was quick. I would go again even if only to try one of the other dishes.

OK, so this cafe offers takeaway and eat in food . I have had both, and October 23 sat down for a full English breakfast, which was faultless. It was hot and freshly cooked and quickly bought to the table and with a cappuccino cast approx ten pounds which is a fair price locally. It is popular with builders , factory workers, and older couples, and even though it was fairly busy, this didn't impact the waiting time for food service time. I am a female in my 40s and didn't initially feel too welcome by the younger female staff waiting tables that weren't English speaking or what i would describe as friendly towards me but they looked busy and like they work hard at busier times beyond the slight feeling of" just hurry up and order if you want something " and as I mentioned this was a busy time and the service was speedy and the order exactly as requested and tasty so this wasnt a huge issue for someone like myself and I would be happy to return again. EDITED TO REPLY TO THE OWNERS RESPONSE the staff were all clearly hardworking and the lady that served me was freshly and professional. It was simply a feeling I got from a younger member of staff and to be honest my own daughter is much the same if she would be capable even of the expectations of a busy cafe and the work expected let alone a smile so it was far from a matter that affected the whole overall experience that was very good overall. That wasn't a dig at teenagers as I doubt I could find tge energy myself to serve food for hours and seem like I wasn't fussed by grease hair from cooking oil and hot kitchen work etc. Anyway I Hooe that explains it better for the owner but to be clear it wasn't a major issue or insulting enough to stop us from returning for the speedy well presented and tasty food. 😋

If I could would give 0.serving lady behind the till is rude and acts like she is there for free. Cheapest products, ketchup tastes like plastic, tomatoes taste of oily grill. Awful place.

I've ordered from here a few times and the food, service and staff have been amazing. One of my orders the delivery driver had spilt my drink which went in my food and when I spoke to the staff at the restaurant they kindly offered me extra items and free drink on my next order. I really appreciated this and even more that they remembered me as their regular customer. Excellent customer service and they are very accommodating

Well the food was brilliant! The coffee not so good. Doesn't taste freshly brewed, has an aftertaste, kinda bitter-ish! I don't take sugar but had to in this instance.

I ordered a fry up from here and it came in a large foil container and was so greesy it made me sick so I had to cut my loss and throw it in the bin. Maybe better if you dine in. But my expereince has put me off.

Been coming to this café for over 25 years. My grandad used to bring me here as a small child. It used to be one of the best cafe in Luton. Came in this morning. I think it's under new management. The service attitude absolutely stunk. Referring to the one with the false eyelashes . Eggs was see-through. Bacon was so salty. The hashbrowns used to be really good. They have changed them as well. I don't think this opinion is just mine because back in the day you would be queueing up waiting for a table when I went in there today. They was about five people in there and I thought that was strange but now I know why Won't be returning

Portion size was above average. Atmosphere and service was all on point. So a solid 10 from me!

Food is fantastic, people are nice and friendly. Watch out for the parking, it's free for an hour only and the tickets are costly. Park on the pavement adjacent, for as long as you like. Good food.

My partner and I popped into the Nearest Cafe after reading the good reviews that they have. I ordered a breakfast and my partner had a cheeseburger and fries. The breakfast was delicious! The bubble and squeak tasted really nice and I liked that it was green :D. Everything was hot and tasty. The coffee was fine, it was just instant and a bit weak. My partners cheeseburger was ok, it was very flat (the bun) but he said it tasted fine and the fries looked quite good. The service from the ladies was very efficient and straight to the point. We’d definitely visit again if we’re ever in the area (we were in the neighbourhood as we’d just given blood) and next time we’d both choose a brekki :). We definitely recommend that you visit this great cafe.

This is a wonderful place to have breakfast. I loved how they used pictures to show the range of the menu. The food came quickly. The staff were great very friend. I felt this was a well kept secret by locals. The cafe was very busy. The breakfast I thought was very cheap £8.90 compared to prices in Windsor £16.00. Well done to the owners of this English cafe serving English food! If you love a good fry up look no further than Nearest Cafe.

Great find! The food is what caf food should be and the staff are absolutely wonderful. My favourite is the Bella breakfast - a healthier version of the beloved English Breakfast. I had an issue with my Uber Eats order and the staff were so helpful in resolving the issue. Can't leave a photo because I ate it all 😂

Good tradional cooked food Good service

Is as good as the name of the place! The food isn't the cheapest by any means. But, it's worth it! Service was really quick, barely read a page of the the paper and the plate was out on the table. Tasted quality, really tasty! There wasn't anything that let it down, I was enjoying it that much, it was a shame to finish. Bacon, eggs and hash browns in particular were the doggies do-dars! Staff were friendly enough. No complaints, well worth a visit!

Went today the Sunday 6th of Feb 2023 this is the worst breakfast I have ever had the fried egg hard and rubbery the bacon over cooked dry and to salty would not recommend to any body don't waist your money the coffee was to strong to drink we left it would never go back

Always a good breakfast here, the service is super fast. It's the standard cafe quality: the bacon and eggs are cooked perfect for me personally. It's normally busy, another sign of a good place

Spotlessly clean along with well presented staff who are friendly & welcoming especially if disabled. A 5 star rating for Nearest Cafe in my book.

It was OK expensive for what it is the sausages taste very cheap so would avoid if I had to come back also ask for a runny egg mine was hard. Just a so so cafe on the dear side.

Highly recommend this cafe. Best breakfast in Luton. My son says they do the Perfect eggs . The prices and meals size and amazing.

We were on our way back to London and stopped for something to eat based on the reviews we saw. We werent disappointed. Food was nice, people are really friendly, its very clean and they are the prettiest bunch of ladies. They looked after us all especially my little girl which I appreciated. Recommend popping in if you are passing.

Only been here twice. Yesterday afternoon and this morning. Very clean place, polite staff, quick service, very hot food. Ideal working man/woman cafe. Parking outside. Worth a visit. Update Sat. 09/04/22 What a great choice cafe this is! 7am and I'm having a roast chicken dinner! So, I've been here probably twenty times now. There's a good and varied breakfast menu and the general menu is generous. Food always arrives hot. Pleasent, courteous and helpful staff.

Got introduced to this cafe a few months ago. TBH, it's got to be the best cafe around luton. It's a shame on like the name it's not the nearest to me.. but still great food and great staff. Anytime I'm in luton I'll be visiting..
