A Mother's day treat! I had the sea trout, the last time I ate it was in Robin Hoods Bay several years ago, my goodness it certainly didn't disappiont it was delicious, served really well with pea puree and asparagus, a beautiful meal, excellent service too.

We had just finished a hike (Grassington and Conistone circular), so we were a bit under-dressed for this very nice restaurant. My fault - didn’t do the research! We’d booked in advance given it was Good Friday but it was not very busy. Service was really lovely. Menu was not extensive and surprisingly after our exertions, we were not ravenous - so we ordered some sandwiches. All the food was terrific.

You have no idea what awaits you inside. Amazing friendly welcoming team from the moment you walk through the door. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday lunch. Like walking into grandparents house, loved the quirky. Good selection on the menu, food fresh and plenty of filling in sandwiches ( our lunch choice) . The pub itself is absolutely stunning, me and my partner visited yesterday evening and enjoyed a wonderful meal and some lovely drinks. The staff inside are very welcoming and genuinely want to talk to you! Had some great conversations, the pub itself is conveniently placed and has a warm fuzzy feeling inside. Local residents come in with their lovely dogs too and are so lovely and welcoming too. Staff are lovely, food is incredible. Thank you for making our evening so wholesome and lovely! It was an absolute pleasure to visit your establishment and spend a few hours. Absolutely awesome place 👌🏽

Another excellent lunch at the Pheasant. We've been several times over last 4 years and never been disappointed. This time we kicked off with salmon gravadlax with blood orange and deep fried squid followed by excellent hake in an Indonesian curry sauce with pak choi - superb!! With desserts, glass of wine each, bread (also very good - ciabatta, lightly toasted with butter on the side) the bill came to just over £100. The standards are very high and you won't be disappointed!

A lovely friendly pub with great food.

Spotted this pub on TripAdvisor as a great place for Sunday roast. So phoned the day before to check they were dog friendly. Yes, dogs are allowed in the bar. Decent roast. I had pork loin (£18.00). My friend had sticky toffee dessert (£7) too and she said it was delicious. They have a restaurant if you're going without a dog.

Nice relaxed atmosphere ( it is off season) so not rushed. Professional, friendly staff were most accommodating to us requesting a 'mezze' range of starters which were all excellent, complemented with recommendations for wine paring. Had an excellent brandy to go along with end of dinner coffee.. highly recommended...thanks Millside :)

Hey! We stayed in Haworth from Mon-Fri. On arrival we found the Steam Brewery was closed for refurb. I was, to say the least, err...miffed! However, Thursday the bar reopened. Hip, hip hooray! Paid the required visit. Great stuff. Wonderful bar, atmospheric and friendly. Too many dogs for my liking ! Early days, food not yet available. Great beer...obviously. I wish them well, and will visit next time.

We stopped here for lunch en route to Somerset The service was excellent and the food very good. My salmon fish cake with hollandaise sauce definitely tasted homemade, my husband said his steak and ale pie was excellent.

We booked for my 70th birthday as a family group we has the whole of upstairs The service was exceptional and the food is the best I’ve had in a long time i can recommend the duck Every member of the 21 of us enjoyed there meals Which is unusual there is usually some one that some thing is not to there liking Considering its only a small terraced property and can not accommodate many people there prices are very reasonable You can understand why its so popular you can not always get a reservation Im definitely going again In fact im there in a few weeks time for friends birthday Its a hidden gem in the area

Visited Steve and the Yellow Bicyclists for a couple of their supper clubs. Always an outstanding and fun evening with gorgeously prepared and cooked food, served with a smile. We understand that Steve will be hanging up his apron, so thank you for everything and good luck for the future. You deserve it.

Had a fantastic Easter Sunday lunch. Lovely cooked roast dinner. Very well recommend. In a beautifully decorated pub with the best served real ales in Banbury!
