Had a fabulous event in the Orangery last week - we held our company Christmas meal here for 20 people. Room is beautiful and table layout worked really well for our group. All of the feedback from our team was positive- delicious food, attentive service, friendly staff. Would thoroughly recommend and several of our team who live locally are planning return visits in future. Huge thanks to Ed and his team for their hospitality.

We went to The Dewdrop Inn for an 80th birthday party. The food was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic time and continued at the far end of the bar room when we vacated the biggest dining area so they could set up for an evening event. The Dewdrop Inn is very popular and generally busy. Having been there I can see why. Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay.

Wedding anniversary...where else to go for lunch but The Dewdrop, especially as there's always someone to help get my husband out of the car and into his wheelchair. As usual, it was three interesting menus and took us a while to choose. My husband had the cod loin, followed by warm chocolate brownie I chose the terrine of chicken/ smoked bacon and leeks , followed by fillet of sea bass. Everything was cooked perfectly and the portions were just right. What makes the dishes special are the vegetable/potatoes and dressings.Interesting but not overwhelming. My husband had a half of cider, as it's Herefordshire; I had a glass of Romanian merlot, just right...I know that white wine is the accepted accompanying colour but I love reds . Even the plates were interesting . The chef himself helped me to transfer my husband. The waitress was friendly and smiling, the bill was not too high, the place itself is interesting...what, as they say, is not to like?

The death of the country pub has been greatly exaggerated in the light of my experience having enjoyed the most splendid lunch at the Dewdrop in Lower Broadheath Worcs.( Elgar’s birthplace). An excellent menu that you would find it difficult not to find something to suit your taste. The whole place reeks of niceness- so Elgar!- the service admittedly not greatly extended on a Monday lunchtime in September, enhanced the whole ambience of a place that appears to be in a good place and well worth a visit.

We haven't been here for a while to eat but the food was as usual exceptional. My starter of spicy carrot and coconut soup with home made focaccia bread was delicious. The pot beef and Stilton pie was generously filled with very tender pieces of beef. My husband had the lamb skewers with bbq sauce and he said lamb very tasty and tender and good quality meat. Excellent food. Highly recommend.

We had been recommended the establishment as a great place for a special meal out. We booked a table for Sunday lunch, my wife is a vegetarian so I confirmed they did a vegetarian Sunday lunch too. When we arrived it was busy and vibrant we were seated, and everything looked fantastic Until I asked the server what the vegetarian option was, to my surprise she said you just get extra veggies. I confirmed this with the owner. But I’m sorry this is an expensive establishment £22 for Sunday lunch, and all my wife would have got was a plate of veggies, So the other vegetarian option was a gnocchi dish served with Parmesan cheese which isn’t vegetarian, so they made a gnocchi dish with mushrooms and tomatoes, no sauce. And still £22 I’m sorry this is a bit short sighted for a good quality establishment, I won’t be rushing back anytime soon

The Dewdrop Inn at Lower Broadheath offers an excellent Sunday roast lunch experience. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, with charming décor that enhances the dining experience. The roast itself is a standout, featuring perfectly cooked meats, crispy roast potatoes, and a variety of fresh, seasonal vegetables. The Yorkshire puddings are fluffy and delicious, and the rich gravy ties everything together beautifully. Service is attentive and friendly, ensuring that guests feel well taken care of. Overall, the Dewdrop Inn is a top choice for a Sunday roast, delivering high-quality food in a delightful setting.

Absolutely gutted by my first experience here. It is over rated, and over priced. The Koffman chips are awful, they taste frozen and dense. Visited while staying in the area. The food was fab! Couldn’t fault it but the experience was completely ruined but the unwelcoming, unfriendly host. He genuinely seemed like he didn’t want to be there. Also when food was served my plate was burning hot - to the point of scalding. He hadn’t placed it on the table properly, so I went to move it I burnt myself. No warning that the plate would be hot. He also made comments to other guests that he prefers to focus on guests that stay with them rather than general public - this made us feel extremely unwelcome. Ruined our experience.

I visited for breakfast, was greeted by a polite man and was shown to a table by the waitress. Small breakfast menu, full English, eggs benedict, porridge. Full English was good, quality produce. egg Benedict - hollandaise sauce strong overpowering flavour of vinegar so this was scraped off. Food arrived hot and in good time. While eating I did notice an atmosphere between a couple of members of the staff. General chit-chat between staff should be away from customers. The staff member wearing blue shirt was very pompous.

All the staff were helpful, attentive and created a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. First time here with family members who have been before. Really warm welcome from the staff and the place is beautifully decorated inside. Sunday Lunch menu is not vast but was OK for our party. My roast beef was perfection, piping hot and the roasties were to die for. Not a massive plate of food but beautifully cooked and presented. Piping hot too. Toilets were spotless !. Two comments I would make, firstly why not allow a single main course for those that struggle to eat 2 courses ? . Secondly, allowing a nearby diner to feed his dog under the table should NOT be allowed in ANY restaurant.

We visited for a large family gathering on New Year's Day 2024. Although we have passed the pub often, we booked after reading the 'Visit Worcester' web page which highly recommended the establishment. The pub was to capacity but the service and food were terrific. We had a mixture of dishes from the menu, and all were presented well and cooked to perfection. There was a well stocked wine list (which covered all price points) and the beer on tap nicely kept (HPA, Butty Bach etc). Highly recommended.

As with previous visits, the food and staff are to be highly commended. Wheelchair...of course we can help is the attitude, not always in some restaurants .Three of us had the lunch menu; salad with stilton, fancy walnuts and pear; whitebait with sauce. Mains... delicious, tender lamb with vegetables, nicely presented and pollock in a chorizo crust with different vegetables. Dessert was only £4 more so...fancy ice creams, panacotta, and something chocolatey. We were all very happy at the end of the lunch and just look forward to the next visit, perhaps in the garden. The other good thing is that the menu does vary occasionally...it can be annoying if one likes a place but have eaten through the menu!!

Everyone was extremely happy, both with the attentive service and the beautifully prepared and presented food. The lamb was sublime, the fish excellent and our pie ‘expert’ was pleased to see that it was indeed a proper pie rather than a dish with pastry on top! Stayed here for a couple of nights, we received a warm welcome on arrival. We were impressed by the stylish restaurant and excellent food that was served by the attentive and friendly staff. To be honest we were disappointed with the room,eg the wardrobe only suitable for hanging jackets and shirts not big enough to hang a dress for female guests. No clock in room, electric socket on one side of the bed only,no light near dressing table for styling hair and makeup, also the bed was quite small and uncomfortable. Lastly an issue affecting male guests, the toilet seat would not stay upright. If these issues were resolved the room would then be on a par with the standard of the restaurant which is outstanding.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon with family, the menu was surprisingly limited and the whole service was really poor, there were plenty of staff but nobody seemed interested in actually serving any customers. We waited 45 minutes for anyone to take our order despite asking...

I recently had my birthday here at the Dew Drop with family and friends, the manager Jenna could not have been more helpful and her staff were exceptionally attentive, the food was of a very high standard to which all of my guests agreed, the...

This was our first visit to the Dewdrop & our last! Over all a terrible experience, Cold food, no check backs to see how our food was and one member of staff kept making snorting sounds when he walked past us. Staff we did try...

After what must have been a very busy day for the staff, we arrived for our table at 5.30. To say we were given 5 star service is an understatement. The staff, food and service was wonderful and we are very grateful to them all.

We have visited the Dew Drop many times and really looked forward to going there again after lock-down. BUT the experience was not entirely what we expected. The portions were very small and the prices were too high. Complained at the time and received a...

Dinner for two omnivores, one pescatarian and a vegan and we were all delighted. The beetroot tartare was a table favourite, and the fish and meat dishes beautifully cooked. Friendly and attentive service- thank you very much for having us!

A classic English pub with a great atmosphere. A model for everyone else to follow. Oh, and well-kept beer from Wye Valley Breweries!

What a place...... we called in after the Rocky Horror Picture Show on Saturday night, and the place was rocking. The atmosphere was incredible and the staff were even better. Even though it was so busy, the staff were friendly and so helpful. My only complaint was that it closed!!!! Matt has also been incredible as my wife lost her handbag, I contacted him and he went out of his way to find it for me. If you are in the area, please make sure you call in and experience this place, its brilliant. We hope to be back soon.

Stayed here for 1 night....it is very overpriced for a very small room with no breakfast. Breakfast was an extra £12.50 and had been warmed up in the microwave. At the bar I ordered a Bulmer cider and thought it didn't taste right....when I looked it was 6 months out of date. I wouldn't stay here again...not worth £130.00 with no breakfast.
