Fabulous food with great service from friendly,knowledgeable staff.

Friendly staff good atmosphere. Have had some great evening meals here although the last which was Sunday lunch was good but didn’t blow my mind!

Was really impressed with the food, ambience and knowledgeable team. Will definitely go again. Last visit was a few years ago and I was disappointed… food wasn’t great - but must have been an odd off night.

Have been dining in ‘The Inn’ regularly since it opened, living the other side of Welland. (Very lucky to be so close!) It’s always been exceptionally good, but somehow David and team have raised the bar even further! We dined as a family of 12 on Saturday and everyone’s meal was outstanding, service was first rate and atmosphere was as good as ever. The Christmas Pudding was the best I’ve ever had in my 50 year life! Thank you and Merry Christmas!

Many thanks to the excellent team at The Inn. The service was impeccable, the food was amazing, 2 Duck, 1 Fillet Steak and 1 Braised Blade of Beef, and I have to say my Scallops were so good. The ambience was so relaxed. We all had a really nice evening. Many thanks.

This place never disappoints. Beautiful and tasteful Christmas decorations, lovely cocktails and mocktails, a beautiful scallop starter, turkey main and the cafe gourmand comprising today a mini Black Forest gateau, garden apple cake and pear and ginger trifle with coffee of choice. All three courses delighted but the dessert was tremendous, all three mini desserts though my favourite was the garden apple cake. Impeccable service as ever. Merry Christmas to all the staff.

We had an amazing dinner here. The cocktails and wine were lovely and our three courses were delicious. We were also able to bring our dog as we were staying locally for the weekend, so this was really handy. Such helpful staff and a lovely setting. Would definitely return if we were in the area again. The cocktail list looked amazing, I could have tried them all. They catered so well for a gluten allergy as I am coeliac. The service was excellent.

We reserved a table for a Sunday lunch at short notice. Having never been here before, we didn't know what to expect. We were greeted and served by great staff. We found a lovely warm atmosphere, Our drinks included a spiced cider which was unusual and festive. We chose the turkey lunch from the 2 courses prix fixe menu. We were not disappointed in any way. Well done everyone. This restaurant is definitely a place to visit, however, they do add a service charge. To be honest, this charge may have been printed on the menu, but neither of us saw it until it appeared on the bill. I don't like this American system of gratuity.

This place is an absolute GEM! We stumbled across this place a couple of years ago and we have visited ever since It’s become a sort of tradition for my father and I as it’s in the middle for both us .. travelling from Birmingham and Chippenham. The settings, the staff, the ambiance.. but the food - every single time we come we are simply blown out the water - a complete sensory and taste experience The menu is so well thought out .. with just the right amount of choice of dishes with each dish the explosion of flavours are just *chefsKiss* As we have said to the staff at least 10 times this evening the food tonight has been sensational! Thankyou again and hats of to kitchen ! If you have not tried you NEED to, you will not be disappointed 10/10

We had Sunday dinner, which was beautiful. The starters & deserts were all unique or a twist on a standard menu. The restaurant is popular and busy, but this didn't feel overwhelming.

We had a Sunday lunch , there were 7 of us and every course was out at the same time, no hanging about, the staff are so so friendly and so attentive, certainly recommend this place A++++ , 10/10

My brother abd I enjoyed the perfect meal. Beautifully cooked, just the right portion sizes so you could enjoy all three courses. Staff friendly and attentive to the correct degree. Basically 100% perfect place to go for a meal out.

We called for a lunch time drink on our way to our holiday accommodation-thought how lovely and welcoming it was- enjoyed our drink- staff & service great- we went back for Sunday Lunch- the food was just delightful- we had a pork starter & a mushroom one both beautiful- the roast best we have had- again service spot on- we are back in the area soon & returning to The Inn.

Gorgeous Sunday lunch, garlic mushrooms, velouté and smoked salmon starters; roast beef & chicken breast today, wonderful crumble with custard and the all important affogato al caffe - Our favourite eatery for some years now, unfailingly good food every time, hard to venture elsewhere when the Inn is on our doorstep!

Dinner for two omnivores, one pescatarian and a vegan and we were all delighted. The beetroot tartare was a table favourite, and the fish and meat dishes beautifully cooked. Friendly and attentive service- thank you very much for having us!

Total perfection. Classy, sophisticated, warm, homely. Tastefully decorated, which gives an air of tranquillity. The food is superb, real quality, and perfectio n in how it is presented. The staff are fabulous. Friendly, warm, and lots of fun. This is our favourite place. A total stunner, nothing to touch it for miles around.

Great sunday roast! Cauliflower cheese actually cheesy and not watery. Roast potatoes actually crispy and still fluffy inside. Spot on. All the staff were great too.

First time here after a recommendation from my foodie friend , we booked mid week straight after work and boy for a Wednesday evening it was busy! The staff were amazing , we were made to feel very welcome , they had great knowledge of the menu and the cocktail menu . Service was incredible and the food amazing , so pleased to have experienced this and will bring my family back

We had a birthday meal here and it was truly lovely. Not only was the food delicious and had us really scraping the plates for every last morsel, the service was superb without being intrusive. If we are back in the area we will certainly be revisiting!

We had a really fantastic Sunday Roast here. The food was absolutely amazing and counts amongst the best we've had. It's especially nice that the pub is dog friendly which is often not something you see in more restaurant style pubs! I'd like to make a special mention of Chris, who served us. He was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond providing excellent service. Attention such as his really helps to push the bar even higher.

A must if you happen to be in the area. The service and food are excellent. The service is genuine and thoughtful. They must have read my mind as to how I would prefer to have each dish served. The food, as always was delicious, beautifully presented and enjoyed by everyone. We all enjoyed the pre dinner cocktails, and good selection of wines. Always a very good meal here. Bit pricey but for special occasions it's a must. As the saying goes "you get what you pay for". Excellent food.

It was very good but pricey. For 2 of us having 3 courses and a couple of drinks each was £150. Can't fault food or service but this needs to be borne in mind. It was our anniversary bash so money was not our prime concern this time but.........

We enjoyed our visit, meal and drinks on a lovely summer evening. I was surprised how quiet the place was on a Thursday. This place is definitely a restaurant first - none the worse for that but a quiet drink during an evening outing is not their sweet spot. Good value for money because of the quality of the cooking and ingredients - would be lovely to see more provenance on the menu. Good veggie options and plenty of nonalcoholic options too

The food was very well cooked (especially the lamb which was absolutely amazing). Very friendly and responsive staff. The prices are down to earth. Definitely, will recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

An absolute gem, could not fault the food, service or atmosphere. In fact every dish was delicious, very reasonably priced for the quality, and the staff were extremely attentive. Would highly recommend, particularly enjoyable for a special occasion.

There needs to be more places like this.. eat here and you will not be disappointed Varied, seasonal, exciting menu. We ate trout with seaweed beurre blanc and asparagus, chicken terrine with wild garlic. Interesting and reasonably priced wine list. Service top notch - attentive, kind and knowledgeable, you can tell they are super passionate about what they do. The type of place you want to bring your picky parents. Thank you very much for a wonderful lunch.

Top notch Sunday Lunch, probably the best I've had in Worcestershire (a few come close). Starter and a main for under £30, and well worth the money. Lovely venue, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Hightly recommend this place.. Especially for a special ocassion, worth spending a bit extra if you can.

I have been meaning to visit the Inn as I have heard great things about it and the food. So yesterday we went for lunch. The service and the staff were lovely. They made us feel welcome. So fo starter we had double cheese souffle which was delightful. I had the fillet steak for main which was also delicious. Finishing off with the chocolate fondant and hazelnut and vanilla ice cream. I can safely say the food is just amazing. Thank you to all the staff.

I’ve been here a few times now! I always get surprised thinking it couldn’t get any better but it does. The atmosphere, omg the food but the staff honestly I dont know where you find such amazing staff ! The owners should be very very proud. I had my birthday celebrations there on the 29th march 24’ honestly I would highly recommend and so lucky it’s on my doorstep but if you thinking oh it’s a drive it’s honestly worth every second to do so. I would book as it gets busy.Thank you again to everyone at the Inn. I will say my children are at the age of eating in very nice restaurants around the country and said it also was superb.See you again soon.

We visited The Inn at Welland as a family of 4 this evening for my mother’s 72nd birthday and can’t fault a single thing about the experience. Lovely atmosphere, spotlessly clean, fantastic food, and wonderfully attentive and friendly staff. The latter really topped off the evening, as this seems to be lacking with so many other venues these days. I called earlier in the day to confirm the booking and happened to mention that 2 attendees would be arriving a little later as a surprise to for my mother. The staff went as far as to put the 2 who had already arrived at a table for 2 as not to give the game away. I highly recommend this place and am already looking to plan our next visit.

Amazing food & great customer service

We were lucky to get a late notice booking to the ‘Inn at Welland’ for a Sunday Roast. The staff were friendly and attentive, and all the little touches (for example fresh flowers, and the charcoal stick in the water) show the care that this restaurant takes in making sure you have an enjoyable experience. The chicken thigh starter was delicious, and the roast beef was surrounded by the most wonderful beef gravy. And the desserts (apple croissant pit and lemon tart) were a wonderful way to finish the meal.

Everything about The Inn At Welland works for me - warm welcome, genuinely friendly staff, excellent food and a delightful atmosphere - what more could you ask? We visited Christmas Eve lunchtime, arguably one of the busiest sessions, and the restaurant was full but the service was attentive, without being overly so, and the food perfectly cooked and promptly served. This was our first visit and we are fortunate to live within a 10 minute drive - we’ll certainly be back, and probably soon.

I've visited this restaurant regularly over the past few years and never reviewed it. Its consistently faultless. Menu choice is always interesting, food is perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, service is attentive but not intrusive and ambience is spot on. Will definitely be back!

From start to finish absolutely superb. Greeted with a warm welcome and seated immediately. Drinks arrived quickly. Extremely knowledgeable waitress who clearly explained the specials with great detail. Food, service, wine and drinks above and beyond. It is a little pricey but …. In life you tend to get what you pay for - here it is clearly more than worth it. You need to book well in advance, which pretty much tells you all you need to know.

Completely Faultless birthday celebration from the minute we walked in the door to the minute we walked out. My girlfriend and I had a fantastic time with great food, a brilliant atmosphere and wonderful staff. There was a large selection of drinks available but we went safe with a lovely bottle of red and started with soufflé and belly pork. After these the standard just rose, expertly cooked duck and steak for main was followed by sorbet and sticky toffee and all was topped off with some more drinks, including a new found love in my life…………..Bumbu rum !! The staff were very friendly, attentive and extremely helpful throughout the evening, nothing was too much trouble. As we got the got the bill we were asked by the waiter about our reason for the visit, we explained it was for my girlfriend’s birthday to which he returned a few minutes later we a small cake and candle, completely unprompted or planned but made us both smile and it was a small gesture that made a huge impression and rounded off a great evening perfectly. Thank you to all the staff at the Inn for a magical evening and we’ll definitely be back soon.

Exceptionally good food at a very reasonable price. I’m no expert, but I (and my wife) felt that the standard of cooking here was outstanding. Soufflé, as a savoury starter or as a desert (we had both between us) was fantastic. My venison main was knock out good and my wife’s gurnard main was apparently superb. Pork belly starter for me also deserves a mention too, it was absolutely lovely. The service is pretty good too. A very nice, well run restaurant with outstanding fud!

I do not normally write reviews but after the fabulous experience I had here last weekend I wanted to make the time to do so. The food was absolutely delicious but what made this time particularly special was how lovely and attentive our waitress Claire was with my 90 year grandfather. She really went out of her way to talk to him and make sure he was settled and happy. This is not the kind of service you get in most restaurants and my grandfather and I go out a lot. I hope Claire receives this feedback personally!

Well I can't really put into words the amazing service we had yesterday . Absolutely terrific . We were told they were fully booked as we completely forgot to pre book and the lovely owner managed to fit us in and I am so glad he did because I've never had food like it . The starter blew us all away and then the main was just delectable. Once it entered your mouth it just leaves you speechless with flavours. 10/10 for everything . Will definitely be back with a booking .. incredible

A leaving dinner for a couple of long serving staff 5 of us in total. We all had different starters , Mains and Puddings. Everything was cooked to perfection. The whole team at The Inn made us feel welcome and the service was excellent.

Amazing Sunday lunch. Really good value for money, we had such a lovely meal. Even though it was very busy, staff were attentive and friendly and the service was excellent.

Fabulous food and menu Only draw back was that I can't eat cream so I couldn't have a few things on the menu such as mashed potato. I was offered something else but I love mashed potato. We asked one of the staff what beers there were and she didn't know. Minor irritations. The chef worked at Champignon Savage in Cheltenham which was a 2 star. We have eaten there and the presentation, diversity was very similar. Perfect. Loved the skate in red thai sauce with crispy pickled vegetables. Wish I could have had it as a main. Have already booked again.

Sunday lunch was good however bar prices are high. There was Roast Beef and Lamb on the menu but why is there a £3 surcharge on Roast Beef foe Sunday lunch?

We ate here at the weekend for dinner. The staff and food were fantastic. Lots of drinks choices (I was sadly driving so couldn't partake!). The lady who served us was very polite, friendly and professional so big thanks. Our meals were just amazing, the dark chocolate gateaux was stunning. We will definitely be back, it would be a special occasion for us but I can assure you we will be back. Absolutely recommend to everyone looking for a great evening with fantastic food.

A little gem of a restaurant just outside Welland. Local produce cooked to perfection and a great wine choice too. We especially liked the Solaris from Deer Hall Park, Eckington … a British wine that thoroughly deserves its reviews. The staff were friendly and took their time to talk us through the menu, which was reasonably priced. We will be back soon!

Although this is a pub, and no doubt one can order a bar meal plus a pint, it's a lot more than that. It's a destination in its own right. We attended a lunchtime wedding celebration for 14, and the experience was sublime. Certainly, we had pre-ordered, but I do not suppose the standard of service would have been any the less had we just dropped in: this is a close, family-run establishment where everyone seems to know exactly what they're doing. Every single individual dish order was correctly delivered and served - the waiting staff knew who had ordered what. So much for service, you say, what about the food? Well, five stars all around - it's a long time since I had anything like this at a pub - top restaurant quality, cooked and presented with ingredients along the maxim of "the better you put in the better it'll come out". Particularly recommend the venison, and the truly beautiful cherry sorbet for pudding. Make the trip. You will not regret it.
