Traditional bakery; tempting aromas & gorgeous looking (AND tasting!) cakes, breads, pies, freshly made baps (My favourite is their iced finger). For that special occasion you can order a wide range of Genoa sponge, chocolate sponge or fruit cakes decorated to your requirements. Reasonable prices and friendly service too.

Situated within walking distance of Worcestershire Cricket Club ground, this lovely little bakery with just a few covers produces freshly made rolls, savouries and a wealth of tempting cakes at the most reasonable prices, well worth coming just out of the town for your take out lunch at a fraction of the cost in other eateries.

Tucked away in St Johns on the outskirts of Worcester city is Colstan Bakery ( not the main one in the town). Here you will get the friendliest of welcomes a huge selection of cakes, pastries and breads, sandwiches freshly prepared in front of you and freshly brewed tea made by a very kind lady similar to that you make yourself at home. This is a gem of a place very reasonably priced and most definitely worth visiting especially if you are going to the cricket ground which is a short walk away. Can honestly say this was the friendliest place I have visited and will definitely be going back when I am next in St Johns.

We rode miles yesterday, got lost, found some great roads, (no potholes!) found the best ever pub in Tenbury, called the Market Inn. So much character, absolutely spotlessly clean and the lady behind the bar was lovely.

Stayed here for 1 night....it is very overpriced for a very small room with no breakfast. Breakfast was an extra £12.50 and had been warmed up in the microwave. At the bar I ordered a Bulmer cider and thought it didn't taste right....when I looked it was 6 months out of date. I wouldn't stay here again...not worth £130.00 with no breakfast.

Grade 2-listed former pub converted to a restaurant but retains all its charm and character. In addition to English comfort food there is a Thai menu! No great surprises, but the Tom Yum, fish cakes, Panang and Jungle Curries were excellent. A decent pint, too. We were passing through, but next time we are in the area, we’d happily make a diversion to stop in again.

Great sunday roast! Cauliflower cheese actually cheesy and not watery. Roast potatoes actually crispy and still fluffy inside. Spot on. All the staff were great too.
