We rode miles yesterday, got lost, found some great roads, (no potholes!) found the best ever pub in Tenbury, called the Market Inn. So much character, absolutely spotlessly clean and the lady behind the bar was lovely.

Best pub in Tetbury great looking inside clean well kept lovely lady behind the bar beer choice quality and price was excellent.. the piped music was .. great not to loud and good choice of artists something for everyone locals were friendly and chatty .. an excellent pub

Popped in a couple of weeks ago for a refresher with my fellow bikers and wasn't disappointed, great little boozer serving black country ales, lovely barstaff and tasty cobs, will pop in again when we're next over that way.

The Tavern is my favourite pub in Tenbury Wells. Greg and Jayne are amazing and the beer is great.

They have done a great job with the place. Warm, welcoming and a good pint 😀

Worst landlord I've ever met. Incredibly rude, bordering on aggressive, all because the beer pipes hadn't been flushed properly and the lager tasted metallic. Patronising and rude landlord in a not very nice pub.

Great impressive free house, live bands on make it that hit special too.

Good Village pub , cosey clean pub , lots of good beers , could do with more guest beers like when first opened , but still best pub in Tenbury

The pub has an excellent atmosphere with wonderful landlord and landlady, the pub feels like home clean warmly and their toilets are the cleanest I have ever seen. Their selection of real ales is phenomenal and the locals are very friendly, since then I have been in when I can, as the best around.

We just popped in for one drink … lovely little gem of a pub in a lovely little town. Very welcoming and not expensive. Never seen such sparklingly clean drinks trays on the bar 😂 … we will definitely come back … lovely little place xx

Found by chance, passing through town - ticks all my boxes for a nice pub. Lovely welcome, value & atmosphere: comfortable ,clean as a whistle, top quality beer , cob roll - and a jar of local honey! Will be back :)

Really nice old style proper pub. Got a fantastic selection of beers and ciders including local brews. Staff in here are really nice & knowledgeable about the drinks. Fair pricing, got really good jukebox, have open muc sessions & music. It's in ideal place in town with lots of Parking nearby. There's a nice crowd in here, friendly bunch. Got a good selection of food here too. I'd highly recommend a visit here, a true Pub, need more Pubs like this one.

Called in for a couple of pints whilst on holiday and waiting for our takeaway to be cooked. I judge a place on the quality of the real ale, the welcome and hospitality. My wife judges it on the cleanliness of the toilets. Both were outstanding! Our 12 year old daughter was made to feel welcome too. Well done! Will definitely call in again. Cheers, Adrian 🍻🍻

Live just over the border in Herefordshire but originally from the Black Country and saw this Black Country Ales pub and thought we’d give it a try. What a fantastic Sunday afternoon we had, the gent behind the bar was so friendly and made a fuss of our dog, the others in the pub were super friendly too, and the beer and cheese and onion cobs reminded us of those traditional Black Country pubs that we once frequented. Great pub see you again soon, cheers!

This small pub has a traditional interior that has not been knocked about. It is a good to honest place. You always receive a warm welcome and the beer is well kept. Their own pies are excellent and the cooked ham is delicious. The prices are very reasonable. They also do a Sunday lunch. Attached to the side is a shopping selling pies open Tuesday to Saturday, Both are worth a visit.

What a great place, how it used to be no frills, warm and welcoming. We call in here when waiting for take away and when in town shopping. Must say we've never ate here but the beer and atmosphere allways gr8. Keep it up👍

Lovely breakfast at a excellent price

What an excellent welcome from everyone, even the locals at the bar. One problem with lical pubs the locals get a little possessive with it, but not here. Lovely beer, and great food. I am assuming the lady who took our food order was the landlady. She was very welcoming and attentive, we all felt like real locals.I had the Ham Eggs and Chips, brilliant, what is it about home cooked Ham that's so good.Parking was a little challenge but there's lots of street parking around, but overall a smashing stop for lunch. We'll be back.

We moved to the area and have visited pretty much every pub. All were great but the Market Tavern for providing hit the spot in terms of offering a great ambiance (true locals having a good old gossip), lovely owners Alan & Tina and great bar staff. Added to this it's ALL home cooked traditional pub food. Not a "bought in" ready meal to fry/microwave meal in sight and VERY reasonably priced. We even ordered Tina's wonderful homemade chocolate roulade as a takeaway for Christmas desert (yummy). It's a proper pub, honest food and all welcome. Looks like our search for a new friendly network as newbies to the area is over!

Whilst away with the girls we came across the market tavern cafe. A breakfast for a great price £6.95 which included bread and butter or toast and a tea or coffee. We were met by a lovely lady who gave us a warm welcome. Breakfast was absoloutly delicious, cooked to perfection. My friend didnt like black pudding and the lady offered to swap it for another item. Such a gem, we have discussed coming back to the area in the future and if we do with will defintley visit the market tavern cafe!

Having moved to the area last year we have "frequented" all the pubs inthe area. Whilst many are excellent, and we are lucky in that respect, our favourite is the Market Tavern. Why? Its the people, staff, ambience, food and it's what pubs used to be, should be and are now unfortunately rare!!

My wife and I have been going there for some years. The owner's make you very welcome the staff are friendly and the food nicely done. They are dog friendly you couldn't find a better place. I fully recommended it.

Had lunch here with family members - great choices of good "pub grub" and "special of the day" which was my choice Dover Sole baked with herbs and butter - delicious. Followed by the best lemon cheesecake in the world. Staff very friendly and ready to accommodate all our different choices. Highly recommend

This pub is situated in the town centre, it's a small, clean cozy pub with a friendly atmosphere.
