What a charming pub! Came as friend had recommended it. Quick meal before seeing a film at the Regal. Landlord was so friendly and welcoming. Really pretty pub with lovely decor and amazing attention to detail. It was immaculate with lovely design touches. All areas of the pub would be nice to sit in. Beer garden was lovely and car park at the back. We had prawn crackers, chicken pad thai and prawn massaman curry. It was delicious. Really good quality glass of Sauvignon Blanc and not overpriced! I will definitely be returning here! Loved it thank you!

Food is always unquestionable as with the service. Perfect example of how to run a Resterant. Visit once a month for two years and never been disappointed.

Sometimes you come across establishments that you can tell they put their heart and soul into running the place. This is one of those places.

I was introduced to The King's Head by my parents who have been buzzing about it for a while. The meal was phenomenal and unbelievablely good value. Service was spot on and friendly. I recommend the Prawn Massaman delicious!

This was a birthday celebration. We all love Thai food so we were looking forward to it. We were certainly not disappointed. The food was superb. We had a mixed platter to start, followed by a Prawn Penang and two had Massaman prawn curry. There was a nice ambience made in particular by our friendly host Lee, who made us feel very welcome. There is a lovely outside area, we chose to sit inside and it was beautifully refurbished.

We visited yesterday for lunch and brought my Mum with us. The barman was very friendly and we had a good laugh with him. The three of us opted for the Thai menu. The food was superb. Really tasty and well presented. We will definitely be back again.

My Wife and I were wondering around Tenbury looking for a nice place to eat. A local lady walking her dog recommended us. She said she was picky. Well.. what can I say. I love Thai food. The menu was fabulous, the venue perfect. The guy who welcomed us was very thoughtful. We walking in with my Wife's Guide Dog. He was so helpful and welcoming. The food was absolutely stunning. Venus and toilets spotless. We couldn't have wished for more. We would recommend to anyone. Very impressed. We will defiantly be back. Its an hour aways for us, worth a return visit. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Beautiful courtyard with blooms, quiet even though on a main rd . Even served drinks over to our table . Very friendly gent behind the bar , didn’t eat but the menus look lovey, a quirky pub interior.

Beautiful venue, elegantly designed garden and an immaculate interior. Very spacious and family friendly vibe as soon as you enter. Excellent range of drinks, warm welcome and real consideration for the dinner experience. Thai food is some of the best we’ve had, great variety in the menu and only wish we’d had more room for desert. Strongly recommended

What a gem. The service and food matches how wonderful the place looks. I popped in for brunch and sat in the beautiful dog friendly garden. You can’t take dogs inside. There is a good selection of British and Thai dishes. The service matches the Ritz without being pretentious. And the prices were very reasonable. If it wasn’t for my waistline, I’d go back every day.

Delicious food and coffee. Thai meals were full of delicate and enjoyable flavours served in comfortable and clean room. Decor is well chosen and suited to the age of building without being the same old traditional choices. Toilets were immaculate. Service relaxed and friendly with excellent choice of background music. A real gem.

Stayed in Budleigh House B and B And had an evening meal at the delightful Kings Head, it was very friendly, the waitress was very helpful and attentive, it was a great evening and the food was superb Well done 😊

Have had many really nice Thai evening meals here, and have now discovered they do a great breakfast (up until 3pm) when we were without power for the day.

NOT-FAMILY FRENDLY! And not a PUB!(dunno what they trying to be) Avoid!! We live in Tenbury for 2 y now, we never been in this pub before ,so was thinking of checking it out...well... ain't going again. Only nice thing here is the flowery garden and professional waiter in the pub,but everyone can live without that... When we was having drinks outside- Chinese/Thai Chef- came out to tell our kids off -for playing outside. Kids was touching little stone fountain, playing with small stones, trying to put in fountain ecs, He just started to tell our kids off, he said- "sorry (in abrupt tone)-but you will have to go home!" but he wasn't even addressing this to us-parents,but to children!!!!!! He was very abrupt and short! My oldest daughter,whos 10 asked me what's wrong with him! He came to the kids twice with remarks! He was also watching them through the window,- which made us feel really uncomfortable! Wow! Customer service 0!! Being Chef and in restaurant business for 10+ years myself,I was shocked to see somebody behaving like this,plus.. he was supposed to be in the kitchen,no?! No wonder this place is always empty when passing bay. Always!! To be fair - nobody of people who i know-recomend this pub, nobody who i know goes there! Looks like they have something else on side,dogy.. Just put big sign - NO KIDS ALLOWED for future reference!! We will tell all our friends and and relatives to avoid this place of all costs! Weird place for Tenbury, hopefully somebody better can come bay to make proper pub out of it. Go to Crow instead, superb family feeling there!!!

My mum and I had lunch here on 27/08/2023. We were on our way back from Wales and stopped for a few nights in Tenbury Wells. What a beautiful place The Kings Head is! The hosts have exquisite taste. We experienced professional friendly service Our lunch was amazing - delicious food presented in such a careful and thoughtful way We hope that we can return one day but in the meantime I urge you to visit yourself! My husband and I came for a meal the evening of Saturday 16/7 to celebrate our 45th anniversary. We didn't say when we booked that it for a special occasion, we didn't need to, as it was very special. The food and service were excellent, and afterwards we sat in the courtyard garden surrounded by flowers and their scents. Thank you to all concerned.

This was a gem of a place. The food really was delicious and good value, both Thai and British options available. The staff so friendly, attentive and helpful. The garden outside is a beautiful place to eat amongst all the flowers and we saw the chef come out and pick fresh herbs too. Really enjoyed it here and thoroughly recommend.

Cannot fault this restaurant at all, staff are extremely polite and very smart. Outside seating area is divine, flower borders created with pride. Indoor seating areas are very tastefully decorated. Food is well presented at good prices. Highly recommended.

I would like to thank the manager the chef and the waitress for a lovely evening. All were so polite happy and attentive. We were a family party with 2 small children. The Thai food was outstanding. We eat outside in the beautiful courtyard garden but we could see the inside was to a very high standard and very clean as was the courtyard.

Arrived without booking late Saturday evening. Lovely restaurant, several small, intimate rooms. We were made welcome by a very pleasant waitress and enjoyed excellent Thai curries. Will definitely visit again.

This is our local go to thai. Food and service is amazing, always a very warm welcome. Had to travel to Malvern for good food in the past, there is one in Ludlow but service and food is awful. The Kings head is a great asset on our doorstep

We came across The Kings Head during a walk through the town. What an outstanding place! The décor is tasteful with chilled music in the background. The staff, polite and immaculately dressed. We chose from the Thai menu and the food was superb. It even had hand carved vegetables! Such a lovely place. Another bonus is their strict, no dogs policy which was the icing on the cake. Well done.

Called in on the off chance and enjoyed the best blt sandwich I have ever had. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the ambience was warm and homely. Builtifully decorated, spotlessly clean and attractive outside areas. An absolute gem, will be back to try more menu offerings. Wonderful!

A gem of a pub+restaurant. The (Thai) food was delicious and the premises inside and out ooze the owners' love and care.

After a day at the Severn valley railway gala, staying in Stoke Bliss and we had spotted the pub the day before ,food was delicious and hubby enjoyed his favourite sticky toffee pudding ,very pleasant atmosphere , warm and friendly staff..hoping to return later this week..

Very helpful. My friend said she did not want many chips and she was given a few chips and a lovely salad. The food came promptly and was lovely. We will definitely go again. Good value

Absolutely stunning little pub/Thai restaurant. This has recently been transformed by the owners, Inside and out. The courtyard is an abundance of beautiful flowers with plenty of seating areas. Food and service really is very good, with a selection of menu's to choose from.

Sunday lunch consisting of myself, my wife and my Dad. We attended on the basis of recommendations. All three of us have lived in Tenbury all of our lives and have seen the King's Head go through several changes as successive landlords have put their mark on it. We haven't been in years and are very pleasantly surprised to see the great work that's been done here, both inside and out. We had a three course Thai meal with drinks and all three of us felt the food was excellent. We were made to feel very welcome and everything was prompt. We were comfortable. Good drinks selection. Great value for money. Nice atmosphere.We'll definitely be going back.

Apparently changed hands since my last visit and now apparently more of a restaurant than a pub with a great reputation for Thai food. A little upmarket to be comfortable with dog Lucy but nonetheless we were welcomed into the lovely garden for drinks and will certainly be returning to sample the interesting menu.

This must be the nicest place to eat in Tenbury, provided of course that you like Thai dishes. The service is exemplary, the staff are all welcoming, and the food is excellent. You are given the impression that nothing is too much trouble. Over several nights on holiday here we tried many of their dishes and none disappointed us at all. Not only this, but outside they have the most attractive garden, where you welcome to eat, if you prefer that to inside. All in all, very highly recommended!

I picked this out of a hat, as we were coming here on holiday. So glad we did. We had vegetarian and duck spring rolls for starters, both delicious. Then Chicken Panang and Sweet/Sour king prawns, again delicious. We also had one pudding, two glasses of wine and a soft drink - £46 !! Amazing value and well presented. If we lived here it would definitely be my local !!

Great Service from Zoe, friendly fast and efficient. The garden and buildings were well presented and comfortable.We love Thai food, and this was all homemade and exceptionally tasty.We decided to have a sharing plate starter for 3, which was excellent value, all homemade in house.I played it safe and went for a medium heat Prawn Curry, which was so delicious and fragrant with plenty of Prawns.My family's food was equally plentiful and tasty.Excellent value for money, 3 x starters, 3 x mains a bottle of wine, 2 beers, 2 ciders just over £70. We will be back, and we will be bringing our friends.Thank you very much.

Visited the King's Head tonight with a friend, it was our 3rd choice as the first 2 restaurants were fully booked..... but how glad were we that the other 2 restaurants couldn't fit us in!!!We had food from the Thai menu and have to say both our meals were absolutely delicious, the owners/staff were extremely friendly and efficient and to top it off the bill came to £23 for the 2 of us which included Thai prawn crackers, a main meal each and a soft drink each. Excellent value for money and we will definitely be returning soon.

As a local resident I have seen this pub change hands, none too enthusiastic. However the new owners have transformed this pub into a truly great venue. The food is absolutely delicious, I suggest that you choose from the Thai menu.Great decor throughout, and the beer garden is so cosy and welcoming. A must try.

Called in late on a Saturday afternoon, most other pubs had stopped doing food, but absolutely no problem for them. Outside table service was excellent and the lunches were very good quality. Was a gem of a find.

Recently refurbished in the modern manner but with sympathies to the past. Delightful to be located on the courtyard. The interior is exceptional.

This place has recently become a Thai Restaurant and we were lucky enough to eat there late 2020 in the middle of the second lockdown. The food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. The staff that served us were courteous and very Covid safe. The interior has been renovated and it is a beautiful location in which to eat. If you have the chance to eat here, you really should - you will not be disappointed!

The Kings Head has had a mixed past but is now on the up with the new owners.from Bristol. It has been tastefully renovated and the Thai cook is doing excellent things in the kitchen. The menu is small but offers a good selection none the less. Wines are reasonably priced and of course there is draught beer. We sat in the small dining room rather than the main bar area and the roaring fire gave the room a very cosy feel. it was a most enjoyable evening.

We’ve just had a light lunch and coffee at the newly opened Kings Head and were very impressed with the whole experience. New decor is excellent as is the food and the landlord could not have been more friendly. We are looking forward to having a Thai meal there next week.

We wanted to try the newly updated Kings Head and their thai style menu now it is under new ownership. Unfortunately we have gone back into lockdown but they do takeaways - so we decided to give it a try!Absolutely stunning food. We had a take away (will definitely be eating in once this lockdown is over). Lovely, friendly owners - very helpful. The presentation, although just a takeaway and not eating in, was still beautiful and definitely loved the little added touches. We tried a couple of starters/appetizers - the vegetable spring rolls and the chicken & prawn toast was beautiful! (would recommend both!) and both mains were very tasty too! Looking forward to trying it again soon.

We were table of six and restaurant was very busy. Food, service, ambience, wine, beer and staff are all attentive, relaxed and lovely people.

My partner and I decided to try the new Thai restaurant at the kings head - we had a truly lovely meal - such fresh ingredients and beautifully cooked and served. We had the mixed platter to start which was very tasty and just enough for two. My partner had Pad Thai with pork for mains and I had massamann curry with king prawns - both mains were absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. We had a couple of bottles of wine with the meal - everything was extremely tasty and very good value for money. We hadn’t visited the Kings Head before so not sure what it used to be like but it has obviously been upgraded to a very high standard - the decor is lovely and very up to date - there was an open fire blazing which added a warm cosy feel. We felt very relaxed and comfortable there and the service was warm, friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back and will have no hesitation in recommending the kings head to all of our friends. I know they have only been open for a couple of weeks but it feels well established and has a “happy feel” to it. The bar area also looked very inviting so I think this will definitely become our new “local”Well done to Lee and his staff - it’s just what Tenbury needs.
