Dear Deep Blue, You have a young lady working on the chip counter who has got a serious attitude problem. She is not polite and looks like she doesn't want to be working there at all. When I asked for my order (Cod & Chips) she looked at me as though I'd insulted her. Some of my mates have experienced the same thing. Get her trained up properly as the food is very good and it spoils the experience.

visited 15th may 2025 Lovely setting and restaurant, food was great reasonably priced, we were seated upstairs in a small room to the left, just a couple of niggles, The chairs seemed a little low for the table, and the bench seat was too high to be comfortable. With it being a small room, we were very close to the next table, luckily no one was seated there but it would have made us uncomfortable had there been people seated. Just wonder why other diners feel the need to shout across the table when they are only a couple of feet away, but thats just other people being inconsiderate, nothing to do with the restaurant. Excellent cafe. Steak nights on Friday each month were rather special. Fabulous breakfast and cafe. Brilliant locally sourced and home made produce. Well run and fabulous venue. Will be missed

Mot been for a long time but met up with a friend for tea and a catch-up, nicely done refurb and entranceway. Welcoming staff. The food quality was very nice, our server for the evening was Bethan, extremely helpful, well mannered, and checked on us when eating to make sure everything was ok. Bethan was well presented in a clean uniform and didn't interrupt the conversation and waited patiently. Highly recommend this sizzling pub for value and customer service.

Had lunch myself and my family, food was terrible and cold. The owner “Craig” was very abrupt. A lady called Nicola was very rude also, please AVOID!!!

Been a few times and it's been lovely but tonight was the only time I've been where I have felt welcome, included, food was absolutely fantastic. The woman suzy who works there was so welcoming. We was stuck on what dessert to have and suzy gave us a few options on what to have, who knew you could have whipped cream with chocolate fudge cake?!? Overall a brilliant experience and great service, food was delicious and we even went back later on for a drink as we live in the village.

Este es un encantador espacio tranquilo que da refugio de las demostraciones muy ruidosas en el exterior alrededor de la Reina Victoria, con una luz, una cafetería interna junto al agua y una terraza exterior, aunque la vista muy fea del decrépito centro comercial Princes Quay no es muy atractiva. El servicio de la hora del almuerzo era eficiente y amable. la cafetería es especialmente bueno para las personas que requieren gluten libre, ya que tienen una buena comprensión debido a un celíaco en el kichen. No tuvimos tiempo para las exposiciones de la galería, ya que estábamos en la caza de travesuras, pero volveremos.

Plenty of outdoor seating in a pleasant location even though its situated next to a (minor) road. Staff were friendly and ham and cheese toastie was lovely although the side salad was a little small. Plenty of cakes on show inside but they don't offer...

Esto se anuncia como dog friendly. Sólo una mesa en la entrada. No es mi idea de un pub que acepta perros o sentarse afuera en la zona de fumadores

Fui anoche y fue tan encantador volver a nuestro local para verlo ocupado. El personal es amable, educado y servicial. La comida es deliciosa y porciones muy generosas! No pude terminar el mío y tuve opción de llevarlo a casa. 😊 Tenía el hígado y las cebollas, me dijeron ¡Puedo pedir una porción más pequeña del hígado que me sentiré mal al no terminar! Partner tenía el filete, realmente lo disfrutó y se sorprendió gratamente al obtener 2 piezas que se cocinaron perfectamente. ¡Mi padre tenía la carne stroganoff y le dio el doble pulgar arriba! Mamá tenía una porción infantil de pepitas y patatas fritas que era muy generoso también. "¡Esas pepitas eran grandes! Aunque fueron muy agradables. " No puedo esperar a comprobarlo el desayuno, hemos escuchado críticas muy positivas de los vecinos 😊. Muy recomendable

Randonly open and closed. I think it has been taken over privately from the brewery. Open when it should be closed, closed when it should be open. Very strange. Its like someone operating it like their own living room. Beer ok, but the lines aren't used regularly so beer has that weird drain smell. No one came in when I was there.

Perfect spot for your pub lunch or dinner lovely roaring fire and dog friendly Good vegitarisn options all home made and desserts were fab!

Great fish and chips. Terrific value. Superbly well kept beer. Friendly and attentive landlord. Could not fault this place.
