After a walk into town we called here for coffee & cake for the first time on Sunday 30th Jan. This place has a real quirky interior which really added to the experience, great coffee & the nicest carrot cake at a brilliant price. Add this to a super smiley host with the friendliest service & you get a place we'd definitely visit again & certainly recommend to others.

We came from Leeds to eat, it said it was open, but the place is actually closed! Too bad😒😞

Greeted with a very cheery smile Cake butty was great. Crispy batter a good size well cooked with plenty of fish in the middle of 2 steaming hot peace’s of potato. Can’t fault it.

Decent breakfast, I try a lot of cafes locally and this one is decent. Quick efficient and reasonably priced.

Was driving by so called in to treat myself to a travel friendly lunch. I went for the Scone (fishcake) Bap but unfortunately it was very disappointing. I will share the blame because I knew it would be from the warm compartment, rather than freshly cooked as I was tight for time. It had a strong rather than fresh fish taste (they aren't specific on fish type on the menu and I didn't ask) and the batter was flavourless in comparison. Friendly and prompt service though.

Lovely meal, great menu, really tasty. Just a little cold inside which affected atmosphere. Will go back!

Unfortunately they don't indicate when they are closed unexpectedly or leave a recorded message on an answering machine. Arrived tonight and they were closed during opening hours. This the second time this has occurred. The food is is brilliant but they need to update the website when they are closed.

Seek this place out if you're in the neighborhood ! Delicious curry dish in the local market, not too far from the train station.
