Everything from the food to the customer service is high quality, very friendly staff. I go more or less every Saturday & order mainly a BEST on a french & it fills me up for the day. Will be back next Saturday for same again

Casually walking by on a late Friday morning. Couldn't resist the smell that was emanating from the Cob & Crumb. Feeling compelled I ventured in. Auto-pilot kicked in and I ordered a Bacon Butty with some butter and a small amount of ketchup. An eternity later (probably about 120 seconds) I was holding a white paper bag that was acting as the referee between me and some thiccccccccccc bacon. The crumb was delicate. The bacon was cooked to perfection. My senses overwhelmed.

We had a fabulous buffet for a 60th birthday celebration. It was delivered to our house and wow, what a feast. Every single person who came commented on the fabulous buffet. Fully recommend Cob and Crumb if you want a good tuck in. You won't regret it.

Friendly staff. Very tasty, freshly cooked hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, pasties, sausage rolls, tea, and coffee at good prices. There can be a bit of a wait sometimes, but it's well worth it. I say, " If they're busy, then they must be good."

Booked a buffet for a funeral, every interaction with the team and the standard and amount of food was fantastic, even with an extensive list of requirements and allergies. Would definitely recommend and use again.. thanks to everyone there.

The staff are so friendly and lovely. The food is amazing and the price is very affordable. Daisy (our pooch) gets a free sausage whenever we visit. 100% recommend.

I highly recommend the Cob and Crumb. I ordered a buffet for all of the staff at Broomhill Infant School and what an incredible buffet we received! Such a huge choice; an astronomical amount of food, a fabulous, assortment of sandwiches, pasta dishes, loaded potato skins, quiches, spring rolls, etc and a beautifully fresh salad with lots of choice for our vegetarian and vegan staff. Also, very prompt and friendly service.. can't fault you at all. Will definitely order our food from you in future. Thank you so much. Your attention to detail is what separates you from the rest! Best service around. Very dog friendly. They even cut and bagged up a sausage for the dog at no extra cost, I didn't even have to ask! Only my second time in and was treated like a regular, will be returning.

Absolutely delicious great quality sandwiches at a great price

Really lovely place. First time visiting (after many colleague recommendations) and treated like a regular. I was hanging around for a few hours waiting for my car to be fixed and they couldn't have been nicer when I kept bugging them for another tea etc. They wouldn't even let me pay in the end because I had helped restock a drink fridge in front of the counter. Really lovely staff and good quality, reasonably priced food.

Cob and crumb did the buffet for my husband’s wake we had the hot buffet for 100 people the food was excellent all set out when we arrived nothing was too much trouble for them. Lots of comments how lovely the food was would definitely use them again. Also they called me the next day to check everything was okay which I thought was a lovely thing to do. Thank you 😊

Great little sandwich shop but not sure about the sausage rolls those guys from Resolve keep buying. I saw one fat lad buy three and had them put in a butty once. Weird. Anyway great place, i'm in here at least once a week.

Driven past here hundreds of times, but yesterday was starving as I missed breakfast so got a bacon and sausage sarnie. I might miss breakfast again, it was lovely.

Had these lovely ladies cater for my 60th birthday party, meat and potato pie with the trimmings, pizza and chips for the kids. It was amazing quality and even the chips were cooked fresh, no frozen rubbish. Even made a pie for my gluten free friend. You did me proud girls.

Ordered a buffet for my 3 year olds birthday party. Very helpful and friendly, and happy to discuss my party size and how much I might want to purchase on a per head basis. We had 7 toddlers and about 16 adults, which I thought would be about 20 people worth of food (thinking 1 toddler would be about 0.5 people). Ordered enough for 16 people after a chat as I wanted to be on the safe side and SOOOO much food was delivered for the party! Plenty of choice including sandwiches, salad, pasta salad, samosas, spring rolls, loaded potato skins, breadsticks, sweet baked goods...I forget everything, but it was plenty. Even provided plates and forks, also were happy to make sure there was plenty of non-dairy items as one of the toddlers is allergic to dairy. Couldn't of been happier to work through my needs with me. I forgot to take a picture of the buffet in its full glory, but I've included a photo of the leftovers which we donated through a friend to St Anne's who feed the homeless; for the price, full toddlers, adults, and enough to donate as well! Very happy and couldn't recommend it enough: good quality and plenty of bang for your buck!

The buffet went down a treat! Amazing spread, generous portion for a party of 50 & accommodated gluten free sandwiches which was amazing as we were struggling to find anyone local to help us! Absolutely would use again, reliable, friendly & provided plates which was much appreciated! Fantastic service

Delicious local sandwich shop, I've been a couple of times, they're always busy when I go but the service is fast and efficient. They do a variety of different foods and will always try and accommodate you. They do pies, sandwiches hot and cold, breakfasts, sausage rolls, steak slices, home made cakes etc. They also take cash and card.

No reason not to award a 5*. First time customer... I ate a sausage and egg on a bread cake, balm, roll, cob in a butty or whatever you want to call it 😋 and grabbed a blackcurrant juice burst drink. Very reasonable prices. Good quality, not cheap food. Friendly lady who served me [into her gardening] Open during covid19 when a lot of places are closed and/or limited hours. I'd return for all food items for sure. Those sausages tasted decent and that cornish pasty was yummy! Thankyou!

Lovely staff and the food is A* Ive been to many sandwich shops and never found one as nice as this. Tried a few things and it’s beautiful every time. Plus staff are really nice.

Tuvimos una fiesta en la calle 21 para mis hijos y el catering fue excelente. La calidad de la comida era excelente y había mucho para todos. Los invitados comentaron lo increíble que era la comida. También tuvimos sándwiches de cerdo asado caliente que de nuevo eran excelentes! El personal era muy amable y servicial. Definitivamente los usaría nuevamente y los recomendaría a todos.

I often pick up my sandwich or breakfast from cob and crumb, food is excellent, well cooked to just as you like it, staff are friendly and place is spotless. Highly recommended

I have personally had nothing but good food from the cafe (thick cut ham salad sandwiches, juicy BMT and buttery thick toast). The company I work for regularly order food and buffets for clients with no issue or complaint. The Staff are friendly and always willing to help you see your not so healthy sandwich in a healthy light (to ease the guilt complex ie BMT has two of your five a day :-)). The prices are reasonable and the portions good. Nothing but praise for these hard-working ladies (the queues when I go in show its popularity).

Christa the owner is amazing. Cob & Crumb provide all our buffets at work and nothing is to much trouble, food is perfect and delicious there is never a unhappy face when they have eaten only praise for the good spread provided. 100% rely on this lady she provides a fabulous service. Cob and Crumb is an excellent little sandwich shop with a decent menu and is very reasonably priced. Service is usually pretty quick and I have rarely had to wait much more than five minute for my order, even when it has been busy. That said, there is always the option of phoning ahead. Would recommend!

Have lunch here weekly, trad breakfast sandwiches are good & home made pie & peas a hefty portion. Hot pork/chicken also worthwhile.

I went in an ordered sausage egg an chips in a box. I got back to my van, opened it, the sausages were undercooked an cheap greasy things, the eggs were covered in bits of black from a dirty frying pan or plate and the chips were cooked in oil too cold, the chips were covered in bits of black an were pasty white an limp on the fork, don't know what they tasted of because I got out the van an binned the lot. Didn't want to take them back because of the unfriendly scruffy staff behind the counter, I went round the corner onto abbeydale road to visit bloomers an got a proper meal at last, disgusting this con an crumb place . Avoid at all costs 🤢 Iv actually got a picture of the food I had backed up to my pc if anybody wants to see proof il happily find it an post it !!!

I often nip in for a sausage butty on my way to work . The food is lovely and fresh and the breakcakes soft and scrummy . The staff are always polite , cheerful and friendly . Very good prices too .

Been ordering from this place for a while now for my dinners at work; consistently good food and I've never had a single complaint about it or the service. If you're in a rush and don't have time to sit down and enjoy your meal, try the breakfast in a tray because you won't be dissapointed.

The sign outside says "If you've enjoyed your food please tell a friend, if you haven't then please tell us". Well, I'm telling everyone that this is a great little sandwich shop! I wouldn't have thought of it myself but the corned beef and cheese panini is fantastic on a cold day!

Love this place, cheap, great menu, the staff are really friendly. Best cobs of Sheffield!
