No matter what we order, its always the same......absolutely brilliant, no complaints. Quality and affordable, can't ask for more.

Another lovely visit to this cafe. I had the veggie bagel breakfast which was delicious and huge! Nice chilled out background music . Friendly staff , well worth a visit if you are in Scarborough and dog friendly too

The food is fresh, tasty, plentiful and of great quality. Mojos is such a relaxing place with wonderful staff.

Always love going to Mojo’s the quality and consistency is always on point. Love the menu it always makes me laugh. The pizza’s are delicious my personal favourite is the meat loaf. I have never had a bad meal from here once. The portions are huge and we’ve been coming here for years. The burgers are great and the wife loves the soup. We are lucky to have such a sensational restaurant on our doorstop. Nothing ever seems to much for them. Great to see them showcasing live music especially when so many venues are closing.

Great little friendly cafe with a music vibe. and amazing food. Always worth a visit; I'm veggie and they have a great menu for veggie or vegan. The veggie burgers are a must.

Visited expecting to see someone my husband knew but he had been unable to attend because of illness. The young man who took his place was excellent. So pleased we came. The lemon drizzle cake was delicious too

I have visited Mojos numerous times , sometimes just for a coffee but mostly to listen to the music on a Weds or Sat and have a meal Every visit has been faultless. Mel is s great friendly host and Steve cooks delicious meals , always fresh and plentiful. You can take your own alcohol too if you purchase a meal which is handy to know and theres always a dog or two there to fuss over . Would recommend if visiting the town x

Popped in for lunch today. Lovely feel to this place. Friendly and helpful staff. Varied menu and plenty of choice for vegetarians and vegans. Portion sizes meant there was no room left for cake! Shame - we shall have to go back!

Came in for some lunch. There's a good selection on the menu, with many meals and lighter dishes. We ordered two toasties and cappuccinos. The coffee was good, and the food was really, really great. Good portion sizes and the cous cous on the side was a really nice touch. It's dog friendly (with a very friendly dog wandering around), and the service was really good. I'd definitely go back.

I have been meaning to visit this cafe for some time. I had a chicken sandwich and a coffee. The sandwich was made with ordinary sliced bread for me - baguettes etc were available but I find them difficult to eat. It was good to see that there was a mixture of customers: older people, families, young friends, people on their own. The waitress was genuinely friendly and helpful. Will definitely go again (when we can) and try one of the cakes I spotted as I paid.

Just had a lovely lunch at Mojos. Massive menu with lots of combinations of flavours. Great sized portions without compromising on quality. Very nice and homely decor. Friendly atmosphere with diverse set of diners (young and not so young). A great find.

I'll admit I'm a regular. I love this place. The food is consistently good, and the ambience is welcoming. Today I really watched how the staff coped with their customers. All I can say is they're a great team, and really take the time to make sure you're welcomed and enjoy your food. Nothing was too much trouble and all happened with kindness and grace. Tasty wholesome food was guaranteed and there was more than enough on our plates. Thanks for a lovely visit Mojos, see you soon.

We were a party of five; four locals and myself as a visitor, in need of a big Saturday breakfast and alighted on this great cafe by accident as most of the seafront cafes were closed.. What a lucky accident it was - service was friendly and efficient and the food tasty and well-presented - so much so that we all took out our phones to share pics with our friends! One of our party is a vegan and one gluten-free; both were well catered for. A great find for a first visit - I'll be back...

Came here the other day when I was visiting Scarborough with family! I had never been here before and as I'm always looking for new independent places to try I figured we would try mojos! I was not disappointed! Me and my mum are both vegan and they had A huge choice of vegan options on the menu I was absolutely spoilt for choice! Ended up ordering an all day breakfast and it was the nicest food I've had in a long time... Fantastic size portions, reasonably priced and great atmosphere. I was surrounded by dogs and vegan food so I was in my element. Can not recommend this place enough.

Loads of food. Great value. Vegan breakfast amazing. Loads of great vegan/vegetarian food at decent prices. Highly recommended..would definitely go again...and tell my friends to go. Really impressed.

We walked past Mojos cafe one evening, it was packed and there was live music, it looked really good. So we called there a few days later, there wasn't a bar for starters, the place needed cleaning and the staff were just conversing with people that they knew no interaction at all with us (potential regulars) however the drinks were nice, but no goodbyes when we left.

We happened across this cafe on our way into central Scarborough. What a lovely find! So much nicer than a generic coffee shop. Warm welcome, loads of menu options including plenty of vegan. Great experience made all the better by the presence of Chewie the friendly dog. Just wish we had one of these cafes back home. It's the kind of place that would quickly become a firm favourite.

Came here on local recommendation while working at the theatre and was so excited to see a separate vegan menu! It offered a range of dishes throughout the day and I opted for the meal deal of soup, toastie and tortilla chips. The soup was delicious, perfect for dunking the make-your-own toastie in. The staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I only wish I had discovered it sooner, and could have tried all the dishes on the menu!

Went on 24th September had fab burger and steak sandwich. Good background music. Quiet day but lady friendly. Would go back. Generous portions. Very nice

Mojo's has a lovely vibe with a good music playlist. I ordered jacket potato with houmous and salad and a spicy veggie wrap for my husband. They offer good sized portions and delicious food. Also have various plant milks and a big selection of herbal teas and all three soups were vegan on the day we were there. Also had a vegan flapjack but I was too full as they were substantial.

Fabulous vegan menu, our meals were delicious, great big portions which is so rare these days. Friendly, clean, good music, relaxing atmosphere, our toddler was made very welcome. Definitely recommend!

Went to a music afternoon and had the "libertines" pasta. It was very reasonably priced and lots of it. staff were happy for me to take what i couldnt eat home too.

We went for music on a Saturday 1600-1700 before closing time. It’s a small coffee shop type venue with around 8 tables/sofas and once you’ve squeezed two guitarists in, it was tight.The music & singing was 1st class and we were transported to a land of Jimmy Hendrix etc (not an expert!) for a blissful hour. We just had a round of speciality teas but could have done with a beer! Other tables were eating and had brought their own alcohol so it looked to be unlicensed. The food I saw looked of good quality and generous.

Struggling to find somewhere open to have lunch that had decent vegan options (and wasn’t a chain) and after trekking to find Hanover road fish and chips (who had vegan options) but finding them closed we then stumbled across Mojos, which I knew did have vegan options. I wasn’t holding out much hope as their menu on the door previously didn’t show many vegan options but my hubby was getting hangry. Was very pleased to find that not only do they have a separate vegan menu but it covers 2 sides of a sheet! We all went for the all day breakfast and it was huge. They also sell Fentimans amongst other cold drinks and coffee etc. Will visit again when in Scarborough if our favourite vegan cafe CALF doesn’t reopen. I might well go for the super salad with jacket potato next time. The salads looked lush and I found the breakfast a bit greasy and bland although the sausages were great. Not sure whet oil they use to cook with but the food would taste better if cooked in olive oil I think. Especially the mushrooms.

I like to visit Mojos when in Scarborough and have always had a great experience. This time I took my parents - two burgers and one pasta dish, all of which were delicious. Lovely home-cooked food and very reasonably priced. Really friendly and welcoming atmosphere; the live music was about to start but unfortunately we had to leave (but not before getting some flapjack to take back)!

This is one of my favourite places ever and we go most weeks for coffee as it is so good. Mel and Steve are so lovely and make everyone feel welcome.

Probably my favourite cafe in Scarborough. When I go back I like to try to go here if I have time. Lots and lots of options on offer and always specials available but if it’s quiet I go for the pancakes which are marvellous. Steve and the staff are friendly and the musical vibe about the cafe is great with various memorabilia on the walls. Highly recommended !

Yes, I agree with others about being intelligently themed with music but, for me, the background music being played was a little bit too much on the Jazz side for my noon time meal. But, hey, there’s bound to be jazz-lovers out there.

Scarborough is awash with cafes, but few are as good as this one. There's a relaxed vibe; it is a friendly and comfortable venue. It has quirky music themed decor and hosts regular live music sessions to showcase local talent. The staff are warm and friendly. The menu is witty and interesting. The food tastes great and comes in more-than-ample sized portions. It's good value for money too. A great place for regulars and new visitors to Scarborough. Go-go to Mojo's!

I'm just in the area on business and needed a quick coffee and sandwich. This place caught my eye as I walked past, and it ticked all the boxes for me, Fast Wi-Fi, friendly service, warm, comfortable, I was served a lovely coffee and a very nice sandwich in no time at all.

Friendly, warm, nice relaxed atmosphere, great background music, good choice of all day/lunchtime food .... I had the chilli burger with fries and salad and can highly recommend it if you like your burger spicy. Great place and I will be back !

This is one of my favorite places to eat, me and my friend often meet up on our lunch break and always come here. The food is great and the price is reasonable. Definitely a place to visit for lunch :-)

Amazing !!! The food is perfect , love how many options they have for vegetarians. And things I've never even seen before. I had a bean burger with salsa and cheese and it was amazing , although I couldn't finish it all. Everything was clearly cooked fresh and the salad was lovely. My boyfriend had a vegetarian Mexican wrap which was also lovely. Will defiantly visit many times again ! Lovely atmosphere and staff.

We came in for a quick bite to eat as we needed to catch the train home in an hours time. We ordered quite simple, snack-sized dishes, and for the normal quality of the food, waiting 45 minutes was a real disappointment. The food is OK, the atmosphere is OK... the dishes on the menu have really cool names, but it didn't really stand up to how cool it looks from the outside.The fact that my drink came with my meal, I was pretty thirsty for 45 minutes. The place was empty, so I can't say the place was under high demand.The staff were quite loud too, but now I'm just being picky. It's OK food if you're a music fan and not in a rush, but don't expect fast food.

Saw this place in late 2015, and tasked myself to return with family, next time we went back to visit.We stopped for a drink and piece of cake on the way out of town, later morning. Loved the laid back vibe of the place. We had coffee, and two types of home made cake - both of which were delicious! I wanted to try what looked to the naked eye as MAHOOSIVE portions of food - but maybe next time.Two thumbs up from me!!!

Comfortable, small cafe with live music on certain dates. Food is good quality and helpful staff. Usually bring my "london friends" here as a stopover before shopping.

I come here really often, usually to celebrate things. Last visit was fantastic as usual, the portions are brilliant for the price and the drinks are to die for! I try to get as much as I can as the staff are very friendly and make me feel at home.

Visiting the town with a play, we were recommended Mojos as a place to go for great burgers. All in all I would describe it as good but nothing special. Certainly working in its favour was the size of the portions which were huge, however quality could have been improved with little tweaks. If you're wanting to find a nice, cosy place to grab and good, solid burger then certainly give it a go!!

Called in by chance and was so glad we did. Atmosphere was great, staff really friendly and the food was delicious and freshly cooked to order. Great menu choice also. Would highly recommend a visit.

Popped in for a coffee, great quirky place wish we were there when some live music was on but save that for another visit, great coffee and the food looked good didn't eat on this occasion but will go on our next visit, the menu is fun, Chris de burger etc,

Nice atmosphere, lovely staff, poor meal.Bean burger was served on a tomato sauce which made the bun all soggy, unable to be held and unpalatable. Bun was cheapest bread ever. Wedges were cheap frozen from a packet. Bean burger itself must have been all of 5 millimetres thick, if that. Couldn't really tell tell as it had dissolved into the bun.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, but the food was way over priced and terrible! Spicy veg wrap consisted of peppers and mushrooms only, in a wrap which was placed in a pool of poor quality tomato sauce!Why ? Soggy and disgusting.Won't be eating here again.

2 of us had the soup & sandwich( medium bowl of broccoli & Stilton which was large in my opinion toasted cheese & onion delicious, nachos & salsa which were a waste as we couldn't eat any of them. My son had the full breakfast he has had before & is always amazing & value for money.

Hidden between an array of ghastly second hand furniture shops, charity shops and shops that we couldn't fathom what they were actually selling was this lovely little cafe,, the food and drink was excellent, as was the service from friendly well organised staff. The theme was a lot of fun, particularly the menu..shaped like a 7" vinyl record cover..containing such delights as "Suzanne Vegan" sarnie and my personal favourite.. the "Chris de Berger"..sub text "very cheesy"! still smiling about it..thank you Mojos!

We visited on Wednesday afternoon for a snack and listen to the music. So pleased we called again later in the week. No fancy food or drink, just a good selection of hot drinks and home made food at a good price. Well worth a visit.

This is a lovely little find. Not far from the high street and train station, it provides a warm welcome, generous portions and very reasonable prices. When we went there were two very talented young lads performing songs in the window. There is a feeling of loving and promoting new talent in a cool cafe. Quite exciting and almost of another time. The food and drink were high quality too with a good range of choice. We will be back for more.

We have been twice in a couple of weeks now and both times the food and service has been great. The portions are large and excellent quality. Definitely don't need to have a big meal at tea time! The milkshakes are awesome too!!

Called in for a light lunch cafe was busy decor shabby chic Scarborough style the service was friendly went for the homemade burger which was delicious chips and salad were standard fayre but fine my wife had homemade soup which was plentiful with two ciabatta cobs both left having eaten more than we would have liked but the food was too nice to leave big plus for the quality of the music slight minus the toilets are dated and too cold for my wife !

It was our first visit to Scarborough and we were looking for somewhere out of the cold wind to have a coffee. We were delighted to come upon Mojo's music cafe, it's delicious cake and coffee and friendly people. I found myself wishing I lived nearer so I could return more often. A real find, which we will make a beeline for on our next visit.

Having often passed Mojos Music Cafe in Scarborough, today was the day I actually had a meal in this popular place - and boy, what a meal!Mojos moved a few years ago from its Northway venue to their current spot in Victoria Road. Small and perfectly formed, Mojos has a lovely menu, including a fab array of burgers.Being gluten-intolerant means I have to say no to most burgers. But owners Mel and Steve really knew their stuff and could advise me on what to eat and what not to. I had a lovely fresh burger with cheese and hot jalapenos, a fresh salad, a gluten-free wrap AND a jacket spud - good job I'd been for a 13 kilometre, 914-calorie-burning run that same morning! It was delicious, accompanied by a fab pot of Yorkshire tea. And all this for under a tenner - marvellous!I went as part of the Yorkshire Festival Association Christmas Lunch and all food was served quickly, and more importantly it was hot and very, very tasty. Well done, team Mojo.So this is another place to eat for gluten-free options.The cafe was busy and deservedly so. I will definitely be calling in again soon.

Today we tried out a different cafe for lunch, Mojo's in Victoria Road, Scarborough. It is not a veggie one, BUT they always have SEVERAL veggies meals and even a vegan one, AND most of the veggie ones can be requested to be Vegan. We enjoyed our lunch there,All their meals have a music theme. "Sergeant Peppercorn burger":" Pavarotti Burger", many other meals were given well known musical names. I suggested that there have a "Guitar Salad with STRING Beans"!

Have just returned from a trip to Scarborough where my beautiful sister got married at the SJT. Mel and Steve did the catering for the wedding and the food was so tasty. On our last morning we had about 2 hours to kill before our train home, so on the advice of my new brother in law we headed to Mojo's. Quirky looking, with lovely music themed decor we looked at the menu, again music themed dishes. At first I was a bit alarmed at the prices, but when the food came it was well worth it (roughly £7 per person for breakfast). Large oval plate filled with bacon, sausage, fried egg, hash browns, mushrooms, beans, grilled tomato, black pudding and a lovely half baguette. We were totally stuffed by the end of it!Gutted we only discovered Mojo's on our last morning, but given that we are already planning our return trip in the near future this is somewhere we will definitely be visiting again, just got to decide what to have from the extensive menu. Steve and Mel are a lovely welcoming couple, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers (we have 2 children under 2 and they have a box of toys which kept them entertained. Nothing is too much trouble for them, just a shame we live so far away!

Mojo's milkshake brings me to the yard... so delicious!! Could drink them all day long and eat there burgers with pineapple and cheese on... taste sensation!

I eat out regularly but no where has topped mojo breakfast! It was incredible! The portions were decent for the price! The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were extra helpful! Will defiantly be going back! 10/10

In this age of fast food, microwave meals, and overpriced coffee shops finding a place to lunch like Mojo's is very rewarding. Mojo's is a music themed cafe in Scarborough town centre that serves excellent home cooked food, and great coffee and cakes at really reasonable prices. Sadly I've moved away from the coast but work took me back this week and a friend and I decided to have lunch here. Both of us had different burgers which were indeed excellent. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. Those with big appetites, you will not be disappointed as the portions are generous, although not over facing. One of the best parts of Mojo's for me is the atmosphere. It serves as the spiritual heart of Scarborough's vibrant music scene and often hosts live acoustic music from some extremely talented local artists. Everyone is welcome and you will definitely want to come back again and again!

Just returned home from working and visiting relatives in Scarborough and another couple of Mojo 'fixes'.It's always a warm and welcoming place to visit and exudes a comforting energy whether alone or with friends.The food and service was as good as always. The chai as tooth janglingly sweet as usual:-) Coffee and cake great.For those who may have never visited Mojo's before - come hungry! Leave full and relaxed.

Mojos music café is yummy! I was so lucky to have my 21st Birthday Party here and they were just so lovely. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere so warm and friendly and they made my 21st so special. I felt like a fairy. With the lovely setting that my lovely Mum had created with flowers, fairy lights and a beautiful white Victorian table cloth. It was like a beautiful dream. Steve and Melanie were just so friendly, kind and attentive. I was so lucky to be able to experience there hospitality in a beautiful environment surrounded by friends and fabulous food. The food was delicious. I had the vegetarian bean burger and it was so yummy. Enormous portions and so so tasty! You could tell it was all homemade and the ingredients were all the best. They definitely don't scrimp you can tell that. It was such a good price too. If you hadn't been id overly recommend Mojos and Eat Me as the top places to eat in Scarborough.

In a world of branded coffee shops, bars and restaurants, here's one that's a little different, and better for that difference.I'm a dad who runs a taxi-service for my children and I often pop into Mojo's on a Saturday morning between "fares". There is a wide variety of teas and coffees, all served well and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. You don't feel out of place on your own with a book like me, or as a couple or larger group. Apart form the interesting decor, I love the music they play which does a lot to set my mood for any venue.Having eaten here three times, the food has been good. There's an enormous choice, portions are generous to say the least and the food has always arrived promptly and hot, even when full.Children's portions are a good size and would suit a young teen, or me sometimes!My only issue is parking: you either have to pay and watch the time or walk, but in my view, it's worth it.

We visited Mojos at lunchtime and ordered scrambled egg and smoked salmon, plus a steak and caramelised onion baguette. Both excellent and more than we could eat. Lots of other interesting items on the menu - will have to return and give them a try!

Never been disappointed at Mojos. At first glance the menu may look a little overpriced but once you see how big the portion sizes are, it makes it seem worth the money. I've had the smoked salmon and scrambled egg bagel a few times which is fantastic, and more recently, the spicy veggie wrap takes some beating. Obviously a lot of thought has gone into the menu and there is a good selection of hot and cold drinks as well. Only criticism is there is a lack of seating (so go early if going for lunch) and the chairs are not too comfy although there is a settee over by the window.Keep up the good work Mojo's.

Quirky coffee shop / café. Bit bohemian in style and service. Good coffee but would have liked a few more choices of cake / scone type eat treats. Will still revisit though as is different to the run of the mill Scarborough coffee cafes.

This is a great little place not only does it serve fresh quality food they support the local music scene. We always have the same thing and it is fresh homemade and reasonably priced and always busy.

Mojos is just up from the main part of town, past the theatre and the actual cafe has a lovely atmosphere. Being a music cafe it has signed guitars and band memorabilia about the place.I've been twice and only chosen one of their many burgers both times but my friend's have also tried from other parts of the menu and also haven't been disappointed. Lovely place to come with friends for lunch or just a drink and a chat (I'd definitely recommend one of their smoothies!) Staff are friendly and all food is cooked there and then, the burgers being homemade too. Would recommend and will definitely be going back.

Its a real timewarp of a place usually full of budding talent from the theatre and theatre goers as well as those who want good food and hot drinks to revive them by the time they've got to the very top of the town after all that shopping. Enjoy this unique venue.

Decided to go for lunch as we havent been in for a while. I had jacket potato onion beans and cheese. Quite nice but not keen on the cheap orange cheese, Daughter had burger and potato wedges just a cheap frozen burger. My friend had squash and chilli soup she said it was lovely. The waitress owner wasnt very welcoming or friendly she didnt clear our plates or asked if we enjoyed our meal so we didnt bother asking for anything else.Its actually quite expensive. Its nice inside shame the service was just average. There are similar eateries nearby as stated yes Eat Me is a fabulous place only drawback you cant get in cos its so popular. Wouldnt rave about it really.

Been here on numerous times and never had a bad meal. Best place for Chilli in Scarborough.I will be back again.

The food is lovely, my favourites are the pizzas, burgers, soups and flapjacks. There is a large choice of food and a good childrens menu also. At Christmas time they have some Christmas themed food and drinks added to the menu. A visit here and you would not be disappointed, there is something for everyone and it's so so tasty!

Been in here several times, never had a bad meal in here. The best place for chilli in my opinion in Scarborough also one of the best if not the best for breakfast (you have to go for Steve's breakfast of justice) it's awesome.In the words of Arnie: I'll be back!!!!

This is a great and very charismatic little place with absolutely delicious food served in VERY large amounts so prepare yourself to be full. Staff were nice and friendly and I would definitely recommend and return again. The only downfall and the reason I'm not giving a 5 star is that the music was far too loud and as a consequence we had to shout over each other at the dinner table. I actually asked for it to be turned down a little a couple of times but it remained the same. Apart from this is a perfect little gem with lots of modern and creative delicious options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike.

We arrived and struggled to get a table. The ambience of this place is fab !!! There is plenty of choice on the menu and the food portion size is brill!! This place is great because of how relaxed it is, noone seemed in a hurry to leave. There was lots of people that appeared at the door that could not get in. Really enjoyed our visit and will definately go back !!

Every-time I go to Scarborough, I have to coincide it with a mojo's trip. It is awesome. The people that go in are friendly and wonderful. The food is great tasting and in generous portions and it has an amazing atmosphere.It is a friendly and sociable place and always busy at lunchtimes. I studied for my Masters degree in Scarborough, I was so busy with my finals and had to get out of the house. During this time I took a trip up to mojos and fed myself till I was stuffed. I lived off one meal a day during that time. I recommend the chocolate flapjacks they are gooeylicious.

Fantastic breakfasts - one of the best in town. Very nice burgers too. Generally nice atmosphere overall :)

Great food, you wait a while as it is all freshly cooked. Lovely atmosphere, nice staff. Overall brilliant. Love it.

My friend and I happened to be passing Mojos cafe, when some strange cosmic like force enticed us to enter. Inside we found a magical, musical atmosphere gently punctuated with the aroma of fresh ground columbian (coffee) and the friendly banter of the patrons and chef. We sat and gazed at the busy world as it flashed and dashed by the window. It wasn't long before we found ourselves gazing..... at one another over a Blueberry muffin. As the music changed from retro 80s to a romantic serenade, so our mood changed from a pensive anticipation to a certainty of love. In our minds we were already splashing in a gentle tropical surf, rolling playfullly under a palm, drawing love hearts and cupid arrows in the sand. Before this moment I had all but lost hope of ever finding my mojo,only to realise it was within me all along. Thank you so much for helping me find my Mojo and my "one love".
